  • Are you a mentally strong person? There are many different signs of mental strength, but most people have no idea what they actually are. Mental strength is less about toughness and the “alpha personality”. It is more about compassion, discipline, and love for yourself & others.

      I am too, but im weaker, when I was younger my grandma brought me to a counselor (but I didn't want to see them), and I hid my true emotions so well that she said I was good to go only about 2-4 sessions later... But It was an incomplete job, and ever since then I haven't been able to keep in my emotions, at least at night. I guess that technically doesn't mean that I was mentally strong in the first place, but it was WAY better that way, now I'm stuck in a crippling depression...

      When I was younger I surrounded myself with people who became great successes. They all had one thing in common... they succeeded, lost everything, got back up, & became even greater successes. I was never afraid to fail, I was afraid I wouldn't know how to get back up. All of them taught me how to get back up... review the situation from a critical vs. emotional standpoint & find the places where you made your mistakes (& of course, don't repeat them).

    I don't welcome change. I have a fear of the unknown & I'm aware of that fact. Whenever something new comes up, something I'm unfamiliar with or afraid of... I push through it; I don't let it stop me in my tracks like a deer caught in headlights. Most people I know just freeze. I refuse to do that. If I have to regroup I will & then I keep going.

      LOL- I'm a Virgo also. My biggest fault was trying to be perfect. I finally realized that no human is perfect. What I bring to the table, even if it's not 100%, is usually better than what others bring. That's not my ego speaking, it's my desire to see everything through, from beginning to end, & have the outcome be something that I & everyone else can live with (the best possible outcome). So, Shine On, Virgo, Shine On!

      Doing good for your benefit!
      Would you do that good for no reward at all?
      That’s the question I have!
      One should only do that which is “good “ - for the sake of good itself. Even if you suffer for someone else’s benefit, it’s a good thing you do. Looking for brownie points for heaven is- cheap and unworthy of heaven

    So think for yourself and stop letting the TV tell you what to do. Giving into propaganda and peer pressure is for the weak. Make your own mind up, and if someone can't offer you a valid reason to do something you think is wrong, don't go against your better judgment just to be part of the In crowd. Stand strong and believe in yourself like you always have.

    They spend their entire life living and doing the same things.
    They can only accept change if its fed to them in very small portions.(or force fed)
    Our lives are dictated by the people we live with.

      I think acknowledging your weaknesses doesn't make u stronger, e.g: when u acknowledge a mistake that doesn't make you innocent, that means you're honest with yourself and with others , it just means you are on the right path of fixing what u did, same goes with weaknesses; you acknowledging them means you took the first step towards "healing" them, turning them into strength points. Does that make sense?🤔😅

Change it threw your actions .This video feels more like a video about getting everyone to do as they should to be a good little cog . I am so out . mentally strong does not only apply to working people . I have no issues being happy for others when they earned a good thing in there life . However I can not stand watching other just get . Its not okay that I earn mine but they just get . Its messed up to work so hard and get screwed .

    • @dee_dee_place
      @dee_dee_place 3 года назад +1

      Not necessarily. We all get knocked down. You have to first understand what got you to the point of homelessness. Some people remain homeless because they actually prefer being homeless or are so drained (mentally, physically, & emotionally) they can't sort through their situation. If you find yourself being uncomfortable with homelessness, that's the first step in regrouping/re-evaluating your situation. If you need to, find someone who can help you sort through everything, someone who can look at everything from a non-emotional perspective.
