The 215PS caliber is just at the right size for it, while it became unfortunately too small for the 5196. This is the main reason why I never bought a 5196P despite loving the watch so much. Really beautiful, classic dress watches. There's nothing better than a perfectly executed dress watch. The white gold salmon dial is definitely my favorite. Great size on these too, those long lugs make them wear much larger. PS I will say I do covet the cap. Its legendary at this point. Must be the golden ratio.

People don't realise how well these 31-33mm dress watches wear on your wrist until you try them on. The more content there is about these the more there is people trying and then the circle starts.

Great question! I have seen some of the 1990s examples with sigma dial and the later ones from the early 2000s without the sigma.
