He's using defense items, but I always thought a real knife run meant your main weapon. I just did Jill on Real Survival Hard using only the starting knife, no defense items, no kerosene, no rocket launcher, total ammo 0, and only using the knife on boss fights. Was a pain in the ass, but fun. Not a fan of Invisible Mode, because that kills the realism for me.

when you play in control, you can use both control schemes, in the analogue you use the modern, and in the D pad the classic tank control, to walk it should use the tank that is much better, in the bosses you should use the modern when need.
You can see that this guy is a real resident evil pro, is movements are clean, he knows locations of all zombies, items etc... Big respect from another huge resident evil fan
How does this work to get the CQC FTW trophy if the description for the trophy says "no defensive items"? I see this person using daggers and flash grenades and those ARE defensive items, are they not??? Asking because I'm trying to get the CQC FTW trophy on my Real Survival run.
@@bobthecrazydog2273 I'm currently doing the knife only run (without defensive weapons) on Normal and I tell you the proto crimsonhead was a fucking pain in the ass, especially when you're used to keyboard+mouse but had to switch to controller just for that fight because it's impossible with keyboard.

Wouldn’t grab me except from behind. I died 4-5 times and it took me about ten minutes from my save file to get there and I finally got sick of having to redo the same puzzles over and over. So I gave up and used the gun. Plant 42, I followed the same course but kept getting hit with acid. Same as crimson. Gave up and used a shotty.
Oh dear god. I realized too late that I screwed myself over by saving Richard. I did it because I was used to from both the invisible enemy and real survival mode runs I did prior to it, since it nets you the assault shotgun. I only realized that I can only get past Plant 42 with the knife by poisoning it with Rebecca or Jill, the former of which I can only do if I _don't_ save Richard. Half an hour wasted.
How did he unlocked the V JOLT door with Rebecca if he didn’t made the pool balls and the lamps puzzle? When I played with Chris and got to this point I was forced to do the puzzle cause I couldn’t find any other way or trick to open that door
He didn't have to. There is a random combination of still the same numbers. It can be one out of 3, 5, 6. So the combination can be: 356, 365, 536, 563, 635, 653. None other. You just have to type in all until you get the good one.
I was wondering how you were gonna take out the basement crimson head without taking damage...... “Well Goddamn, smart move...” I swear Ive seen video after video of gamers fighting that boss with only a knife and that is the first time Ive seen that move....which seems damner obvious in retrospect.

Great game it’s hard to describe to people how scary the original was way back 1996 and only 6 years later this remake came out. Neptune’s tank nearly gave me a heart attack I could t run through there without chills down my spine. Such a shame what the franchise has become
