I have been playing this game since the Gamecube version came out and I still play it today, and I am glad to see professional gamers doing the same. Well, kind of the same, I am not that skilled to do a knife only run :( Good job and great video!
The snake fight in the library cracks me up. It just quietly goes back and forth as you stab it’s tail for like a hour. Same with the tyrant fight he just swings at the air 😂

This video pretty much proves tank controls work perfectly well in a resident evil game and the static cameras add more tension rather than making the world dark and giving the player a flashlight. I only hope resident evil 3 will be like this
nope, forget it.. nowadays players are pussies, they want their games to be easy. developers know that and thats why they don't take any risks, something like a new resident evil game with tank controls and the good old static camera would scare away many players because they're used to new resident evil games
i know its late but for any other readers yes you can dodge her but afaik only on 120 fps you basicly walk towards her one youre in controll to bait out a forward left swing from her giving you little time to dodge her on the right side carcinogensda made a video about this
take into consideration he, somehow, removed the animations for all the doors, which allows him to cut an aproximate of almost 10 seconds between animations and loading of the next room

Great run, great item management, real survivor seems quite easy after watching it :) But creature dispatched: 16? I've only counted the dog with the collar, Yawn, Tyrant and 1 zombie in the lab. Where are the other 12?
......Screw this man this game's way too hard I quit. Great run though but I had no idea I'd have to go through this much tediousness and frustration. This is worse than the original in terms of difficulty, confusion, and frustration.

Liked for effort, and great speedrun. But this is far from a *true* 'Knife ONLY' run. You can't use defense items.
If you can't use defense items then i think it's pretty much impossible to do a no damage knife only run.

They both spawned, the second one doesn't agro if you stand near the herbs because it spawns further away
