Even though the song is a meme now, within it and the context of Sam's story is the warning never to fight for violence's sake. Sam first started his crusade against injustice but eventually just got a taste for blood and that desire for bloodshed was manipulated by Armstrong. He forgot what he fought for, and why, and even forgot who he used to be. He only found out at the end of his life.
That's why MGR's songs slaps. Not only they are a banger they have a lot of personality

The sequel could've shown the transition of Raiden from mgs2 to mgs4
@@BigBossultrastealth Considering that was what the original plan for Metal Gear Rising was before it ended up becoming essentially the final game in the timeline, a sequel to MGR being the original plan for the game could work out pretty well.
@@BigBossultrastealth Still waiting for that really. MGR:R doesn't need a sequel, I'd say a bit more backstory on Raiden's time with Sunny's rescue and Paradise Lost Army would be better. Maybe even reveal more of his childhood, and end it with the events leading to mgs4.
In a sense, it could be considered as a chronological prequel, since according to the wiki survivors of PLA went to Maverick, the PMC Raiden worked for in MGR.

I recently started playing and I really love how his character is written. Whenever he says something, it just adds to it. He also was a fun fight too, in contrast to some other bosses in the game.

All fights were amazing (except sundowner) it’s just that Sam actually had a lot of difference and difficulty to the either bosses.

Even Sundowner is great, if you can remove his shields, which most people seem to have difficulty doing. I don't blame them too much though, Raiden's sword looks like it's gonna cut somewhere else but the cut is always right along the line and doesn't reach as far as you'd think. Really sucks because they're missing out on a great track.
