My experience is that with time you have lowered the standards to the extend that you selling raw silage that has not matured. The result is that since you don't chop the stalks they end up being unpalatable to the cows. They are too big and very hard for the cows to chew. Hence my cows are wasting almost half the bale. This a waste of money
