Joe was one of my heroes when I was 16, now I'm 58 and still really appreciating this guy. He's just a regular Joe with amazing talent. I love his facial expressions when he plays. Rock on, Joe!!
Us Boomers lived in the absolute best times musically. Our music and artists are timeless. Our 70 yr olds still have more fire than todays youth. You can tune a piano but you can't tune a fish 😋
REO was once a good rock band where they fucked up was when they let Kevin Cronin back in the band after he had quit shortly after REO TWO was released. Cronin is a hack at best and a control freak and I know he is married with kids but watch some of the old videos and you to will swear he is to damn light in his loafers for a straight man.
Saw Joe 4 times back in the 70's. Once with the James Gang, twice with Barnstorm, & once solo before (I think) the Eagles. Guy is truly a master song writer and guitar player.
Anyone who came of age in the 70s loves Joe. In fact we go Joe was an Eagle. Wow did not know that. From the James Gang to all of Joe he is amazing. Love you Joe and always will. I once played the bass on Rocky Mountain Way. Cause they made me.
One of the most amazing guitarists I have ever listened to and I'm 71 years old and I remember Rocky Mountain Way and the smoker you get the better you feel LOL just an old lady from the 60s
Amazing dude. I've loved his guitar playing for 45 years. The first song I ever heard was hotel California. To me, what makes him special is he isn't a cocky arrogant jackass. Pure talent and a living legend!
That riff in the ending solo (7:37 here) has given me this feeling of 'something is about to happen' for as long as I've heard this song. Unnerving but compelling at the same time. Hard to explain.
I remember seeing him with the Eagles in 1977 and he and Felder just killing it on this one. Those two had something special between them and Don and Glenn knew it.
Joe Was The One Everyone thought Wouldn't Make It Through..Well?? He's Certainly Doing Well Here. Love Joe Walsh! I met Him once before He was sober and He was as Cool As Could Be. Great Guy!
I bought this eight track in high school. I just rediscovered this tune when I was checking out a bunch of Eagles stuff. Trying to learn to play them on acoustic. When I found this song I just get chills. That riff is out of this world. This version isn't my favorite. There are a couple good live ones. The studio version is great. Please check out some other versions and crank them up. Joe is a master. Don't stop with this version.
JOE IS AN OLD AND HEALTHY EAGLE! Same as Don Felder! Interestingly enough, the two most easygoing Eagles are, by far, the healthiest right now. Go figure. I want to see them both in concert. Maybe they will join forces again! :D
Ann Caspari Considering that most of his drugs were ones that make you very easygoing, yeah he was pretty laid back. Usually only cocaine would prevent one from being easygoing but I think he went down the opposite road of chasing the dragon. But none of it interfered with his music. I’m a Joe Walsh fan of about 49 years and have loved everything he’s done. But I’m glad he decided to stop the hard drugs so that I could understand him speaking. But I love Joe very much. 💕💜💋Annie

very very meaningful to hear this new version after listening to the studio version since 1975. I like this very much he done good!!! PS I like that blonde back ground singer too!
When I heard “You Can’t Argue With a Sick Mind” back in the 70s my life took a turn. Thanks Joe! When I heard Stevie Nicks say that you were the love of her life, you went from hero, to LEGEND!

Joe Walsh's interaction with his fans at his shows was something I always dug. If you came to see him kick some ass, then you better provide some enthusiasm and energy - he will respond by putting on one hell of a show. That said, there's no doubt to this very day the greatest guitarists of all time came from tat era (50's 60's and 70's) - You just don't see any today - or very / too few and far between. A shame really that music has forgotten musicianship, at least in that genre.
Joe is a great admirer of The Late Great Roy Buchanan. If you can find a copy, pick up Roy Buchanans Album." Your Not Alone" Turn To Stone Is On It. And then go pick up the rest of Roy's collection. A powerful master of the telecaster. God rest his soul.
OMG!! Now that's playing ! Did you see how much work he did for that solo???? Someone knows his shit badass! It's one thing to play acustic. it's a whole noter field to play it warped!
Hi I just wanted to thank you again for being so supportive and following me on my journey. I love inspiring and encouraging others. People like you help me to keep showing up! Hope you are having an amazing day❤❤❤
I just recently saw a old video of Walsh Turn To Stone 1972 live at San Francisco very good Audio Video Quality he was playing a Les Paul and really working that Guitar but what I realized for guy his age back than he was a Natural Very Talented Song Writer and Musician and that's a comment I don't throw around.
Joe looks and sounds great. The James Gang was a really good band. Glad he decided to stop getting wasted all the time. Saw him & the Eagles at Tampa Stadium when he had first hooked up with them. They had to carry him on stage. He played like a mad dog then they carried him off.
My friend Mr. JOE WALSH he came up in a limo Ridding the back in Portage lakes State park Akron,Ohio and said Lady GaGa my Rottweiler was so damn cute.....

This shows you that it ain't the geetar it is the player. Joe rockin and tearin it up with a fucking Ibanez. He jams with Daryl Hall with Fenders too. Now you can give me a 10 grand plus vintage axe and it will sound like shit cuz it is my playing. But this should be proof to every kid or someone that does not have mommy and daddy spoiling them.

An Ordinary average guy?
I love that the video is showing him play, just amazing.

Keith Lauder Jr I agree! Absolutely loved the 70s especially for the music! I still listen to the music I did then!
Ted Wilson that we worked 50 yrs to get. What’s your point?

Yes he is!! 🥰 He’s marvelous at what he does in songwriting and playing lead guitar 🎸❤️
Jealous!!!
He truly is my friend and I've been listening for over 50 years
I was listening this track on my drive to work this morning. The lyrics are more relevant than ever!.Joe Walsh is a genius.
You got that right!!!Ironically, only yesterday did I see all the lyrics to this song.
Joe Walsh forever!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
More touch and feel in his little finger than all the shredders put together.
Walsh continues to deliver. He also continues to use Joe Vitale on drums because that guy plays what is "right" for the music!
Why not Joey was with him from the start!! Good dude!!
