The best possible lineup needs a Red and a Pirate. You probably need to swap 2004 Scott Rolen for 2001 Aramis Ramirez and 2000 Brian Giles for 2000 Ken Griffey Jr. to make it valid.

Jose Cruz Sr., Cesar Cedeno, Joe Morgan, Rusty Staub, Glen Davis, Billy Doran, Derek Bell, Kevin Bass, Lance Berkman, Craig Biggio, Jeff Bagwell, Jim Wynn, Bob Watson,... Peak baseball following in the mid 80s... Brewers were AL, so no Yount or Molitor. Reds would have been West back in their superstar years (Bench, Morgan, Rose, Foster). Still West for Eric Davis. Cubs in the West would have got you two different Sandberg 100 RBI seasons. You guys should do some of these with some mixed ages. Get some old guys in to play. While you guys pick guys from post-2000 they could pick some older players.
