DIY Hardcase for STAGG EDB 3/4 Double Bass

Thanks so much for this. I was wondering if the bass could be divided into 2 pcs by removing the 5 screws in the back. The answer is yes. I too am going on a cruise ship soon ! Beautiful case by the way, did it hold up ok ?
