  • This is my first Grandfather model I have made from Roselli blade catalog. The blade is 30mm smaller than more familiar 100 mm hunting blade version from my videos. I was thinking purposes for this kind of blade. It has strong and handy size so it must be great and nifty in many small works for knife. Sorry, not for batoning :)!

Stellar win for beauty and ergonomics with this one. Like the opening hidden in nature scene. It looks very natural there. Mighty fine work with both balance and flow. Someone is getting an exceptional blade.

Hi Osmo ,here am I thinking that you made these beautiful knives ,only to find that they actually grow in trees in large hollow logs ,well I must go looking as that grandfathers knife is a very useful looking blade I wonder if they grow here in Australia.Ah yes I think I can see one arriving in my postbox ,of all places ,as I have ordered one online, how about that.lol. Great knife great video and by the looks of your background shots spring has sprung in Finland and I hope the sun shines warmly on you and your family my friend .Tom.

Tomadair1 Thank you Tom. That would be most welcome bushcraft romantic view out of Finland; knifes born in forests :) Spring has arrived early and sun is shining, +10 C. That's what I like a lot. Thanks and all the best to you too, Osmo
