Particularly strong, durable and thick knives, I wanted this one at first, but considering the portability and convenience every day, Finally, I chose to buy Silver Circle Grandpa UHC, One knife for life!
+Jay Lane Thanks Jay! Right after the tar oiling it had really deep brown colors but it changed a bit greyish after while. Not bad anyway. Those vibrants and contrasts came only because of tar oil. Atb, Osmo
Thanks for polishing :) our mirror, Taro! Yes, this handle shows beautiful vivid patterns of curly birch with the help of tar oil in a way I truely like! Thanks my friend, Osmo
Osmo, that is a fine piece of art! Very unique masur birch handle, and the different treatments really brought out the grain patterns wonderfully. Oh, and the music selection wonderful as well!
Gorgeous work my friend! I hopefully shall be receiving some tar oil, born in Finland, soon. Your lovely results have inspired me to use it on a handle too. Many thanks and warm wishes Thom
Hallo Osmo, what a beautiful, rustic, small puukko. I like the leather sheath with side seam, very close to the traditional Finnish style. Also inside with "Lesta" blade shield? Do you use tar oil (made of conifers?) only for light wood? Makes with curly birch great color effects. Atb, Joachim
Hi, thank you! There's always 'lesta' inside my sheath unless someone specially asks not to put it there. I have tar piled only curly birch wood, nothing else. Gives great changes for the look! LG, Osmo
+thetopicala Hallo Osmo, which piece of plastic you use for your Lesta? I use until now, empty shampoo bottles of plastic that I cut. :-) Do you have a better solution for me? Thanks in advance, Joachim
+thetopicala Osmo I m sorry, forgive my unnecessary question, I had not read the answer that you have been given in your video "Make a Lesta" (e.g.: plastic from a canister). Read first...... then ask....... :-) Atb, Joachim
Of the most beautiful sheaths I've seen.

+Giacomo64 Hi Joachim, I think plastic material from that origin is far too thin/soft. You must find something stronger for the lesta.👍🏻
+thetopicala Osmo I m sorry, forgive my unnecessary question, I had not read the answer that you have been given in your video "Make a Lesta" (e.g.: plastic from a canister). Read first...... then ask....... :-) Atb, Joachim
No worries!
Could you make a knife legal in the UK?
+D.j.Y GAMING5 You mean legalize! Heh! Have a nice weekend to you, Osmo
