Thank youfor watching. Glad it could help. The thought process is the most important. Having a long-term vision and using that as your guide leads to the most beautiful plants.
You could have removed the baby plant with its roots to get another jade plant. Those cuttings as well. You can gift your friends with those baby jade plants. I use most of my removed branches to grow new plants and give them away.
That's true. And that's how I got my first Jade plant. My teacher handed out cuttings in class. I usually don't save the small cuttings because I try to be very minimal and intentional with how many plants I have. Thanks for watching and for the tip
I personally have not heard that. But with these plants, it's ok to be safe and wait until the leaves start to soften (they store water in their leaves, so a good sign is to usually wait until the leaves start to wrinkle and soften a bit)
Update: One night, I was throwing away some plants as I was preparing to move. As I was cutting this one out of its pot, I noticed that it had an amazing root base under the soil..so I tried to save it and repot it, but I damaged it too much and it died a few weeks later
@@PlantitaCraftie Yeah same. Next time I know to check the roots under the soil before I just get rid of a plant. But it's an easy to grow plant. I will be getting a new one soon and doing new videos
It was already close to this size when I bought it, but in less than a year it thickened quite a bit underneath the soil. Developed a nice flare at the base. These grow fast if you put them in larger pots.
I did a crazy repot where I tried a new technique I hadn't seen done before and it didn't end up surviving it. I think it could work but I'd have to plan it better next time. I'll do a video on this technique at some point
Hey Aryen, this one died a couple months ago after I performed a very risky repot. I caused it too much stress. It clung to life for a few weeks but then it died. It actually grew back strong after I the pruning I gave it in this video. I should've been more patient. Thanks for asking.
Bro it didn't not die. U killed it buddy. U did a heavy pruning. And u were like... I dont like this.. I don't like this.. And u didnt have that heart to grow cuttings too. U were hard. So it was hard on u. Thnks

Thank you for this video. I'm always just winging in when I prune my jade. I enjoyed your thought process while pruning.

Yeah it's a forgiving plant
Absolutely beautiful and really nice one .
Thank you!
I really love jade bro, thanks for the video
I like them too. They grow so fast. Thanks for watching
Don't touch prunners anymore
Learn how to spell
@@godisgod we are your "spell check" sorry if you disagree
How do you get that much growth?
I just let it grow under LED lights for a few months
Don’t worry about the negative comments. It is nothing personal, they lack vision.
Right. 🤓
You just screwup ur bonsai
Oh did I? What part?
You done all opposite cuts.. but everybody have their sense to grow bonsai in his own imagination.. anyway let's wait for next video..
@@alokgupta3860 You're right. Thanks for watching.
I really liked the Austin powers reference. 😂
hahaha...I had to rewatch it to remember what reference I made. Good times
Wow. - I don’t know what I’m talking about but this seems outrageous. Lol
What's outrageous about it?
@@godisgod to my untrained eye it looks like its completely butchered.
@@a5dr3 to most people it does. This approach is for growing "bonsai" tho, not "houseplants"
A++ hack job!!!
Which part?
I've heard it's bad to water after pruning. How long should I wait for?

0:30 this is another tree but ... Im gonna kill it instead of repotting... Good start 🤣🤣
What other tree are you talking about?
Nice! How often should I repot a jade bonsai?
You can repot a jade bonsai once a year if it is growing strongly. Thanks for watching
@@godisgod Thanks!
You should make an update video for this one
I accidentally killed it during a repot
Perfect
Thanks
Beautiful 👌👍
Thanks
Hi, do you have an update video on the jade? Thanks!

How long did it take to get the main trunk to this thickness. Impressive

Man...... seriously you messed up an already good looking plant..... LOL.... Looks like a bad haircut from a bad barber.
I don't get the joke. Which part are you referring to?
Beautful 🙏👍
