@@Benw3790Because they look like Jade Trees! Often called Dwarf Jade! The leaves are much smaller but otherwise much the same. I’m guessing the Botanists will reclassify the PCaria as a sub species of Crassula one day!
Why throw away such a large clipping of the plant? I cringed, sorry. So much value in that clipping, no? Propagating the leaves or even the whole stem after proper prepping? Also, thank you for your tutorials! I have 20 to 30 that I propagated, they're coming along nicely, about 4-5 inches or so. Love succulents, Jades mostly.
I really need some jade trees in my life
@@givetanks Get one, then in a year you have dozens!
Why Portulacaria is a Jade tree? Jade tree is a Crassula. I have one Portulacaria for more than 20 years.
Exactly. They are unrelated
Often called a “Dwarf Jade Tree” or “Elephant Food”!
You are right, in the video I said Crassula but should have said Portulacaria (Dwarf jade). The tree in this video is not a Crassula :)
Mantap bonsainya boskuh, semoga sukses dan sehat selalu

Thank you! Cheers!
❤️🔥🌳❤️🔥
Namaste
👍👌
You called this a Crassula right at the beginning of the video. Standard Jade is a totally different plant from P. Afra. 🤦🏻♂️
Jup you are right, this is a Portulacaria (dwarf jade) and not like I said the Crassula.
Confused…That looks like a Crassula ovata but titles say P. afra 🤔
It’s P afra. Idk why we call them jade trees lol

Yes that would be helpful :) But you are right, in the video I said Crassula but should have said Portulacaria (Dwarf jade).

Lol, "preferably you must properly prep for propagating & planting "
Ohh I have plenty cuttings - cant use any more :)
a bit sad that you style every tree the same, especially with this example you could have utilized the initial overhang..
Well, with a Jade that hangs to one side, it easily falls over (the branches are heavy and very flexible, and often remain flexible).
