It's called preemptive damage control. Tell people "I created Wolverine, seriously, it was me" before anyone asks, and slip it in the middle of a conversation so nobody contradicts you.
If/when you have Roy back, I’d love to hear the inside scoop on the All-Star Squadron/Infinity, Inc. years (especially regarding his collaborators like Jerry Ordway, Rich Buckler, Mike Machlan, Don Newton, and, yes, even Todd McFarlane). I’d also like to hear about Secret Origins (which was a sort of companion book to All-Star in many ways) and how all 3 of the aforementioned titles got derailed by Crisis and DC office politics, much to the disappointment of fans like me. Roy was THE Earth-2/Golden Age guru at DC for about 7 years, and I was sad to see him go.
Absolutely awesome 🤘 comment about Chris Claremont being the single most important creator involved in Wolverine. Didn't invent the character, but he is the primary reason anyone cares about the character.
Roy Thomas is one of those guests who responds to questions before you guys even ask them. :) Or answers questions that he wants you to ask him. :)

I was all over the place re: Roy and Wolverine. Even in this interview. He's compelling. Looking forward to round 2. Fantastic work, fellas.

That's the plan. We ran out of time to talk about the DC years.
My favorite comic book writer who I'm sure has written more comics that I have read than any other writer. That's based upon Conan alone!
