For some reason, the sound is really.... Bad....like bad reverberation and it's only this video, as I've plated others to make sure it's not my TV, it's definitely not. Im also hard of hearing & maybe have my TV up a LITTLE bit more than someone else, but not much bc I do wear hearing aids. But it's extremely hard to listen to 😏
Mary is so incredibly strong. I can't imagine the amount of resiliency it takes to bring yourself back from the brink of death and live your life to the fullest after such a horrific incident
I will never forget the impact of seeing her on _I Survived_ knowing nothing of her story. When she lights the cigarette (or smokes it, I can't quite remember) and reveals her prosthetics... powerful stuff. She's a GD hero.
She's seriously badass. She got her arms cut off, and thrown down an embankment, and had to pretend to be dead while in crazy pain. After that she packs her wounds with fuckin' gravel and then proceeds to crawl up the embankment to get up the road and flag down help. Then went on to put that guy away.
She must be unbelievably strong-willed.. LS was able to break her body but never her mind! Deep respect and admiration for what this woman went through and for her to still be able to build a complete, fulfilling life for herself after suffering all that trauma is truly inspiring!
There’s another woman in the new video this channel just uploaded that I think is on the same level as Mary. I believe her name was Alice but I forget her last name. They’re so incredibly strong and persistent to be able to survive.
can I just say that Mary Vincent having custom prosthetic arms to go bowling with is the funniest thing ever. She seems like she would be great to have a beer with lol.
@@minacapella8319 You can think that it's tragic that something happened to somebody and still think that the way they respond to/cope with it is cool or interesting. Finding the humor in a bad situation isn't dismissive of it, it's just how humans cope.
Obviously this is pure conjecture, but I *think* the dog bones found on top of Dorothea Scott's body was from an attempt to further conceal the body. I know there's a theory that the best way to make sure a dead body isn't found is by burying a dog corpse a few feet above the human body. The theory contends that if a cadaver dog leads police to the grave site they'll dig down, find the dog body and assume that's what the cadaver dog was indicating and subsequently ignore that location. I've heard this theory passed around a hand full of times in the same semi-serious conspiratorial tone that used to spread urban legends and ghost stories. No idea where the concept originates, I had assumed it came from some CSI type show but maybe the concept is older than I thought. (also for the record, I don't think this would work, especially in the modern day. Cadaver dogs are supposedly trained to only respond to human corpses so the cops who believe cadaver dogs work would likely focus on that area even after the dog corpse is unearthed and nowadays cops use ground penetrating radar before digging anyway. Besides, everyone knows the best way to hide a corpse is to just pull a Weekend At Bernie's and pal around with your new corpse friend)
This was exactly my first thought when I heard about the dog corpse! I've heard the same theory a lot too. If Dorothy's killer also put the dog there it shows a whole new level of calculation and sadism. Poor woman and poor little pupper :(
Just commented the same thing, you are absolutely right! I’ve heard this mentioned many times and there is no doubt in my mind that we are both correct. I mean sure I can only be so firm in my convictions with the case I’m not familiar with when I’m not someone with the proper certifications to make a judgment like that, but I’m as I can be as someone that’s just a regular person
you are correct abt dog remains not working. dog corpse and human corpse dont have the same scent and the dog is rewarded only for finding human scents (also human body smells different depending on how old it is and cadaver dogs train with smells of different stages)
I came to the comments to see if someone already said this bc this was my IMMEDIATE thought Also someone as deranged as the stalker probably legitimately thought the plan would work
Ali's thoughts going "that's my family" as he sees the other guy kiss his wife, and then immediately proceeding to _shoot_ said wife dead, really shows how sometimes, by "my family", people mean it *very* literally - "my", as in "one I own". It is depressing to ponder, how often do people actually hold completely selfish sentiments while coincidentally sounding like a caring person. Not to mention the fact, that he mentioned her being "his family" in the same string of thoughts as listing out "his table" and "his furniture"..
"Love will make you do crazy things." -Will Smith on smacking Chris Rock at he Oscars What a crock-ass excuse which only really says, "I'm a total piece of shit and will be violent if I don't get my way."
I immediately recognized that those three were serial killers… but more importantly I also recognized Mary. Thank you for focusing on her story in the end. Victims deserve the focus in true crime media.
More disturbing than the jinnkid case imo is that when I went on his skyrim compilation videos a long time ago, theres other people that seriously think she deserved what happened because she allegedly cheated (which she didnt, but even if she did, its not a death sentence)
Your take on the JinnKid story is rather refreshing, because media is basically summing it up as "Man kills cheating wife and her lover" and that garners too much sympathy for him, for my taste
It angers me how many times the cops allow the abuser to stay in the house with the victim. I had the cops ignore the many times I reported stalking and harassment from my abuser (luckily now I'm living out of state).
I tell you what; that b&w picture of Mary with her prosthetics is optimism INCARNATE. After going through something that traumatizing, knowing that two of your limbs have permanently been stripped away from you for the rest of your life, to take a photo like that with as warm a smile as that on her face, putting her freshly acquired appendages on proud display, is just something special.
My jaw actually dropped after hearing that Lawrence only got 14 years jail time the first time round. Imagine having the victim with HER ARMS MISSING come up and testify, and then only getting 14 years. Thank god the justice system has changed since then.
I don’t think it has. My cousin was just killed by a drunk/high driver. He was given a couple years in jail. She’s gone forever. Her child will always be an orphan. He’s got a 2 years vacation and the rest of his life ahead of him. Our Justice system is still super jacked up. More often than not, addicts and drug related crimes end up with more time than rapists and murderers. And If you have money or connections, you will literally get away with murder.
@@rachaeljones4731 i’m so sorry for your loss my love :(( yes sadly, the justice system is still broke and will probably remain broken forever. don’t worry… that pos will get karma and justice served one way or the other.
@@rachaeljones4731 its that way by design and I hate it, its a farce meant to protect the wealthy and to subjugate those who need help, addicts, stealing food to not starve, and a bunch of other crimes are due to poverty and mental illness and if these issues were better cared for with compassion and human decency far fewer crimes would occur in the first place, if addicts could be easily treated like in the Portuguese model of drug treatment, (which is basically that people who get addicted are given pure unadulterated versions in lower and lower doses to stop their chemical dependence, then their would be far fewer people on dangerous drugs, instead we just lock up people who are hooked on something, and that just ends up making them worse off I'm sorry for your loss, I hope one day in the future we can make a new justice system to replace it, you can only polish a steaming pile of garbage(our justice system) so much before you realize its better to just try build something new
Wow, who would've thought that the guy who brutally assaulted and dismembered a woman's arms would've gone on to kill another woman? Almost like 8 years in prison was not enough time.
There is no doubt in my mind that the reason why her body was found buried with dog bones is because a lot of people think they can trick cadaver dogs by putting a dead animals body on top of where a corpse is buried. When the cadaver dog gets a hit, the investigators are supposed to see the corpse of the dog and assume the animal picked up on that animals corpse rather than a corpse underneath. I’ve seen it as a topic of discussion for people talking about hypothetically disposing of bodies. I am 110% positive that that’s exactly why the dog was buried on top of her
It makes sense, if you have the mental processing depth of a kiddie-pool. It's like burying a piece of wood above a valuable metal, hoping that a metal-detecting hobbyist will say "well gosh I guess it was the wood that tripped it!" should they come across it. Problem is a human cadaver smells vastly different to an animal carcass to a dog *trained to sniff out specifically human corpses*. They're deployed in forests, where animals of all types routinely die and rot, you'd think a cadaver dog would be totally useless if it raised false alarms for every dead bird, squirrel, feral cat, stray dog, wolf, etc. that it encountered in nature. People are bout as dumb as shit.
Mary Vincent is my fucking hero. Literally the single most badass human I have ever heard of. Imagine being a child and not only surviving the shit she went through, but surviving because you were just. too fucking powerful to die, getting YOURSELF to safety, then going on to face the one who did that shit to you not once but TWICE, the second time on behalf of not yourself, but another victim of the same monster. I wish her all the best in the world and I hope to be as strong as she is someday.
The amount of ppl who are defending Ali and even saying his ex deserved it is saddening, honestly. Some were even spreading misinformation on how she was cheating or how it was "spur of the moment" as if she wasn't divorcing him and trying to run away from an abusive relationship, and he didn't bug the apartment after breaking in and wreaked the place. It's genuinely scary how people don't see a clear cut case of how an abusive man turned murderer as wrong because "she cheated" or "he looked so nice in his videos, so it had to be a moment of passion"- unnerving.
It’s ridiculous, every time there’s one of these stories there’s some smoothbrain in the comments like “but DAE wahmen bad and cheat tho??” As if that justifies gunning people down
They’re people who have been cheated on and, instead of being adults and moving on, they’re super bitter and misogynistic about it. I *know* it sucks - believe me. But like, you’re NOT the first person to be cheated on and you’re far from the last. Get over it or sabotage all of your future relationships I guess.
I know it sounds like a bad comparison but I see the same people the way I do the Trump/Biden followers no matter what you say and how bad you say it about him and how truthful it is they're going to still follow him and defend him no matter what, like a bunch of dumbass'
Ali’s interview is appalling. Definitely a person that thinks of his family as objects and holds no accountabilty for his actions. Definitely a reminder that leaving an abusive relationship is the most dangerous time. Moving or changing the locks is probably a good idea. Sucks that abuse victims have to think about things like this when leaving such a situation.
Are we just going to pretend she hadn't obviously cheated on him which is part of why she wanted him to leave their house, So she could bring the man she was cheating with in. Just saying, It's not like she did nothing to elicit Ali's reaction. She very much so gave it a bit of a push
@@CuriousGeorgeFloyd I think cheating is justifiable when the man you're with is abusing you. So yeah she would try to find comfort in another person who fucking wouldn't? She wanted him out cause of the physical violence. did you watch the video?????
Mary Vincent is an absolute trooper and incredible individual. It’s a travesty that Lawrence wasn’t executed after he was found guilty of Mary’s crime. Thankfully, laws have changed, anyone capable of committing such atrocities to another human-being doesn’t deserve an ounce of freedom or oxygen ever again.
i'd say Dorothy's stalker was a coward who only felt bold when speaking to a female, and at the first hint of a male on the other line (even if it was a much younger one) he couldn't handle it.
@@MandenTV nah sounds like a man who thinks he can have his way with women. Not something that being gay would cause. The moment he felt there was opposition (in the form of a man), he turned tails and waited to be safe.
You have to wait for them to physically harm you and hope that you survive before anything can be done. Then you’re forced to sit in a court room so the stalker can scream at you all he wants
That's why I believe every woman (or just about every person) should know the basics of using and handling firearms and always carry one. It's obviously not a surefire survival method, but you're MUCH more likely to survive an attack from someone if you can shoot them.
40:20 Mary is a fighter. Mary is my hero. I remember hearing about this story years ago, on Unsolved Mysteries, I think. What she went through and fought for survival against is mind blowing. 14 years? Wake me when the system starts taking crimes against women seriously and stops protecting the abusers.
Well it's 2022, you can't really wake up but the bastard is dead and uh... The gays can get married? I mean it's not stopping the systematic oppression of women and minorities but hey, at least if he were tried today 2 accounts of legal Mayhem, sexual violence and battery would at least land him a life sentence I'd hope.
He only served eight years. His early release guaranteed he'd kill again. The way violent criminals are treated is incredibly frustrating. Why should the law render any compassion or leniency for a person like that? If it were up to me, he'd have received a life sentence for what he did to Mary. His depravity and malice weren't anomalous, he wanted to hurt her and he believed he'd killed her. Those kinds of people will absolutely continue killing innocents, because they love doing it. There is no rehabilitation process that can change those types of people, hence the life sentence I believe he should have received.
hate crimes against women are hardly even seen as such. every time i hear shit like this i think "how many more women have to die before someone does something?".
That was in the 80s.. it could well have changed by now, also doesnt it change from state to state (sorry i dont live in the US) I mean even cadaber said that luckily the law had changed from when he was first convicted
I literally live for new uploads from you, Eudoxia, Crowley, Reignbot, Shrouded Hand, Barely Sociable, Nexpo, and NightDocs. Thank you all for keeping YT fresh with great content!
The Ali case hit close to home. One of my acquaintances actually lives in the same building where Ali lived. They were very shocked about the whole murder and so were all who lived there. They didn't live on the same floor, but they knew of the constant disturbances that had cops called all the time. They would see the cop cars parked outside while coming home or from their window. They did hear alot of shouting from a couple from time to time, but there's also alot of unstable homeless that inhabit East Village, so it could have also been that. The city of San Diego was shocked as well and this was on our news for a good while. The guy was a known narcissist asshole from people that were close to him, it sounded like.
Ali literally hitting things while screaming "My this!" and "My that!" just comes off like an overgrown toddler... It's like he saw the new kid playing with his favorite ball, but she wasn't a ball. Ana was a person who said, "No more," and was trying to move on with her life when he clearly couldn't. And he reacted like a spoiled brat, nothing more.
I don't know, I think there's things we're missing. People don't just do things like that. To get a person to that extreme, something had to have been going on that we aren't seeing. I think the fact that she was with another man so quickly may hint that she wasn't faithful, but I'm not saying she wasn't. Either way his actions aren't justified.
@@iyelawolf2196 if the guy was abusive, that's all you need to know. He got angry enough to hurt his wife, he has anger issues. He just got angry enough to kill instead of just hurt this time
No it's dangerous because he's a grown ass man. Giving him a pass as you would a toddler, who literally has no ability to regulate emotions, is harmful. We collectively need to stop making excuses for abusers even if that wasn't the intention. That's what you're doing rn
I love that your channel always takes extra care to focus on the victims rather than the perpetrators. It really shows the respect you have for them in comparison to how many people simply make these videos for shock factor and notoriety. I can probably count on one hand the amount of videos I’ve seen outside of your channel that take the time to show pictures and highlight the lives and passions and reality of the victims BEYOND their circumstances.
34:30 black bears usually only attack if something is wrong with them, like the story of one lady who somehow fought off a black bear that stalked and attacked her, with the help of her two dogs. She did a reddit AMA a few years ago and the story was very haunting, because the attack like the one described here was super random and came out of nowhere.
dude who cares? bringing up some lady that survived in a video about a guy that literally died from the bear is kinda shitty thing to do. Also, that's the case with all bears.
@@ambatuBUHSURK you're weird. sam probably said this support the theory that the bear attacked unprovoked. people are in the comments saying these boys provoked the bear, but we will never know 100% what happened.
This is incorrect. Any simple research into this topic will show that this is a misconception. Someone doing a Reddit AMA is not automatically an expert. Someone who’s survived a bear attack isn’t an expert. This misinformation is basically an urban legend and the sad thing is how easy it is to just find true information on this topic. This doesn’t mean a bear needs to be provoked or anyone is to blame for the tragedy. It just means that black bears can and will attack humans. It is rare, but it is not an indication that “something is wrong with them”.
Wow it's almost like the Jinnkid story could have been completely avoided if the police had been doing their fucking jobs properly in the first place and actually did something about the dozens of domestic abuse calls they had to respond to
nothing new under the sun, unfortunately. there are many domestic abusers in the police force, more than the average for the population in general, and cops often protect each other. a lot of the cops who try to go against that and report fellow cops get in trouble for it. it sucks.
Domestic matters are always handled that way. They won't do anything because it's something that happened in a household and not in public. A major blind spot in US law
26:30 The dog bones might belong to a random dog. The fact they were buried on top of the human body makes me think they might've done that to try and confuse sniffer dogs. Basically the dog sniffs a dead body, they dig and find a dead dog, so the cops think it's a mistake. I've heard of people doing that, thinking it'll work. It doesn't. So I think that was just a random dog the killer found and decided to use for that purpose.
Fun fact about Mary Vincent: Saddam Hussein was an avid collector of art and before he was killed, his home was raided and found amongst his collection were two of Mary’s paintings. I remember hearing about this years ago from where I don’t remember so I could be wrong and I’m too lazy to google it
I have had a stalker and no they don't take it seriously. Even if you are married and have kids they don't take it seriously even when your family is threatened because they are preventing you from being with them. That was the worse seven months of my life AND my employer also reported this individual. 😖
I remember when what happened to Mary Vincent happened. I also remember the uproar when Lawrence Singleton was released and had to spend his probation on the grounds of San Quentin prison. He should never have been released from prison.
This may have been referenced in Bill Bryson's The Lost Continent; he was in Nevada during the Spring of '88 and mentioned seeing a news report about someone who had sawn a young lady's arms off who was about to be released from jail (no names were mentioned so I'm not certain if this was the same case). One of the police officers who was interviewed claimed they couldn't guarantee the criminal's safety so it's a shame that he was able to live for so long after being paroled.
Damn, i love Mary Vincent! She is such a champion! What an amazing person. A testement to how brave and strong a human can be when met by the absolute opposite type of humanbeing. People like her are what makes up for the fact that so many pathetic, scumbags exist. The amazing people that actively goes after and won't suffer the cruelty of monsters. People like Mary Vincent give me hope in humanity after almoat losing it all, hearing about the monsters of the world. It never ceases to shock me that some people are just so unbelievably evil... I wish for a future where those people won't exist anymore. A time when only good people remain on earth, so that we won't have to suffer evil anymore. But in the meantime it lifts my heart to see someone so brave and strong in her defiance towards evil.
The 2nd story, I have learned about multiple times. It never fails to send shivers down my spine. Like deep down, it's the scariest thing I can imagine that the lady must have gone through.. the saddest thing to add is that no one was close to ever saving her.. she must have felt so terrified to be attacked and kidnapped by this psychopath. He was so delusional, he was so emotional, angry, deranged. I just wish someone could have been there for her, so she wasn't alone. I hope we learn something from this tragic event. We need to protect future victims of kidnappers because there are tragic cases of victims being held captive for 10+ years and we need to do better to make sure that doesn't happen and we can find these people who are trapped. 💔
"How do you expect a man to feel??" Oh, I dunno, like a normal adult human who realizes the worth of human life and actually cares more about his family than the pride of maybe being cheated on? It's absolutely disgusting that he thinks he can take the life of another human just because that human made him feel emasculated.
He wasn’t even cheated on, Anna had made it very clear they were separated and she was divorcing him. God, that video of their daughter playing at the end hit me hard :( I just hope she gets all the love and support possible growing up.
Murder is unjustifiable but you say that like cheating isn't immoral, like if you cheat on a guy it's his fault for feeling 'emasculated' and he doesn't have a right to feel anything because it's just his toxic 'pride'.
@@tylerchambers6246 cause murder is a reasonable reaction for feeling emasculated and hurting one's pride? or that the abuse he was doing before was not immoral? honestly the reasonable person would have used that in court as evidence of infertility ( i think divorce isn't final at that point so they are still married) to take custody of his child and also a leverage for not paying alimony. but thats what i think, you do you.
@@tylerchambers6246 As referenced by other commenters, the cheating aspect is not backed by hard evidence to begin with. Even still, no one said that cheating isn't immoral. But he absolutely doesn't have the right to feel murderous rage at the idea of his lover leaving him. He can be upset all he wants-- try to ruin her financially or take full custody for the child-- and that could all more or less be justified. Murder is not a reasonable reaction to being cheated on. If you think it is a reasonable reaction, you are telling the world that you value your feelings over human life.

Hitchhiking was frowned upon as a low class mode of transportation. People who weren't around then like to think everyone was fine with hitchhiking, but they weren't. It was a either an "I'm broke and can't afford a car" or a teenage rebellion to horrify your parents thing.
Can't say that I'd rate my chances of living through what Mary Vincent did very high. It is tragic that he got the chance to kill again, but I am glad they finally put him away before Mary had to make a custom prosthetic for firing guns.
With the first case I have to say narcissists are always their own undoing in the end, they are so over confident that they ALWAYS decide to do the police interview. I’m at glad that means they never get away with it, hopefully that guy gets the maximum punishment.
I really like this format, Cadaber! I love your long format videos, but it's refreshing with multiple shorter stories, as the content gets a greater variety. Keep it up, boss! Thanks for the video!
Cops nearly always fail domestic abuse victims. Very rarely do I ever hear success stories. It’s incredibly frustrating, especially when it ends like that knowing something more could’ve been done.
Just found your channel and I couldn't be more ecstatic to start binging all of your content! Your narration is on point and these stories, while dark and messed up are stories I've never heard before anywhere else and I'm glad you are here telling them.
Saying shit like “it broke my heart” and “what do you expect a man to do?” is such a desperate attempt at emotional manipulation to try to change the narrative of “I killed my wife and a stranger who just happened to be with my wife when I was spying on her” to “what about POOR ME?“ RIP to Ana and Ray, and I hope Ana’s beautiful daughter can heal without her father ever in her life again.
21:34 Misplaced modifier [While there] -- [it]. You just said that "it" was "there". How about: "It was reported later, by Pam, that, while there, Dorothy never left Pam's side"?
With the Darsh Patel incident, as a resident of Montana that lives in bear country I don't necessarily expect people from New Jersey to know exactly what to do when encountering a bear (considering that this incident was the 1st bear attack fatality ever in the area) but it is still extremely sad to see that many mistakes were made that led to the death. Just a few of the obvious ones of many: 1. Not heeding the warning of the other hikers (who also made mistakes themselves). 2. Wanting to go take pictures of a bear (Bears and predators in general are not meant to be sightseeing endeavors under any circumstances in the wild) 3. Running from a bear when encountering it (Never do this). I could mention many others but you get the picture. I don't buy that the attack was unprovoked either. With predator populations and human invasiveness in their areas steadily increasing, if you're ever in the backcountry it's important to educate yourself on what to do when encountering all types of predators, not just what to do when they attack. Not just lone black bears like this one. But also lone brown bears, brown and black bears with cubs, all species of mountain lion, wolves, etc. And be properly prepared when you go out: i.e. carry bear spray instead of a gun and know how to use it, store your food correctly, etc all the the other good stuff that takes too long to mention here. Stay safe out there, bcuz it takes more effort than just taking a hike down a trail and hoping for the best.
You'd probably be surprised to learn that for a small as NJ is, it has a relatively good sized bear population and people have been encountering them there for years in almost every county. I know people tend to think of bears living mostly only in places with large unpopulated areas or heavily forested areas but they're found in most states, even if just in a small area of a state. We even have them in Florida. "Don't go looking for bears" isn't something anyone who isn't hunting for them should need to be told.
@@mommy2libras Wow, had no idea that NJ had that many bears, fair enough. And yeah, while "don't go looking for bears" should just be common sense, there's still inevitably going to be some people out there that have none, like Darsh Patel's group. And he's no longer alive now because of their ignorance. You'd be surprised from the number of people every year that die or get seriously hurt because they're being stupid out in the wild. From taking selfies on the cliffs of the Grand Canyon, to getting in face-off's with Bison or going off-trail and falling in boiling water or mud in Yellowstone, to what happened here. Some people need the obvious advice told to their face because they either might not know any better or are too ignorant and insist the worst won't happen to them. Don't go looking to take pictures of predators in the wild. End of. Save that shit for the zoo if you want to do it so bad.
As someone who lives on the east coat, NJ has a sizable bear population! I think this was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time, plus not using proper woods etiquette
I'm Australian, there's a stereotype that it's suuuper dangerous here with all the snakes and spiders. But dude, I can squish a spider and most snakes don't care about humans. But bears?? Moose? Coyotes? FUUUCK no. Animals in North America are actually terrifying.
About the bear story, whilst going to school in black bear country, I went on a walk on a mountain on campus. And not long into said walk, I heard a rustling from my left, turned and saw 3 black bears, a mother and 2 near full grown cubs. Let me say there's no fear like a mother bear staring you down while being no more than 30 ft away. I'm lucky nothing had happened, but I can't imagine the fear he must have felt to have been charged
Jinnkid made me really sad, I really liked his videos and I feel so bad for his kid who will be growing without their parents. It’s just very upsetting to know while watching those videos none of us knew about the abuse happening behind the scene
On the TikTok(er) case:it’s so frustrating that these DV cases usually have a highly likelihood to have been entirely preventable had police taken her seriously, she been able to obtain a TRO, if someone who knew what was happening said something, etc. this guy was obviously explosive. If you listen to the interview he says -in MY apartment, on MY COUCH, on furniture that I built , WITH MY WIFE?!! he groups his wife in with worldly possessions as if he truly believes that she fully belongs to him just as much as his cell phone or something like him killing her is like throwing the controller at the wall out of frustration with the game, it gets me mad to hear that he became that upset when he SPIED on his ESTRANGED wife and heard that she sounded happy and that another man was the reason he was sent into blinding rage… it’s so telling how he CANNOT fathom how SHE could betray HIM. Dude if you really want to prevent this then maybe don’t hit her beat her call her names , treat her better than anyone else ever could, happy ppl don’t cheat, and here’s some news ** BEING MARRIED DOES NOT MEAN YOU OWN HER, AND IF SHE HAD INITIATED A DIVORCE BY FIRST SEPARATING ** SHE DOES NOT OWE YOU ANY EXPLANATION, LOYALTY, OR FAITHFULNESS ** just because the courts can’t process the divorce right away doesn’t mean some paper gives you any right to control her. I’ve personally always told my wife that if the day comes that I no longer make you happy or I’ve become someone she doesn’t like, just tell me and I’ll literally help her by making the process as smooth as possible, I don’t expect her to put life on pause cause even tho she’s made it clear that we’re divorcing it’s not official till some stranger signs it. Why would you even want to be with someone who isn’t happy to be with you? Seriously guys, treat your women better. Cherish them, give them the freedom to make their own decisions out of love rather than fear. If you find out you gave them freedom and they just cheated on you immediately then you now know the truth and they would’ve done it anyways

Mary is so fucking strong, not only to go through what she went though, but to pull herself, somehow, from the pipe she was placed in, stunt her own bleeding with mud, and crawl her way out. And then on top of all that, stand up to the man who had done this to her, go on to have two sons, and design artistic prosthetics, and stand up to that man for a second time to bring justice for another woman who wasn't as lucky as she was. That's absolutely incredible to me.

They MUST have a lot of the same viewers because anytime I watch one, RUclips suggests videos by the other, right at the top of the list.
Pretty much the same with Barely Sociable, Nexpo did a lake city quit pills video. I was like hm, i already know about this from Barely Sociable, but he went into even more detail that i had no idea about.

I actually forgot about Barely Sociable because I haven't seen one of his uploads in a long time, can't remember if I'm even subscribed or not, but yes I rembember his channel is good in the same kinds of ways these other two are. I watched Nexpo's Quiet Pills one a couple days ago. Or rather, I watched the first 2/3 or so, and just let the rest play while I did stuff around the house. If a black bear charges at you, ESPECIALLY if you're in a group, DO NOT RUN UNLESS THERE IS SAFETY EXTREMELY CLOSE BY. You MUST not show signs of fear or you WILL die. You NEED to intimidate the bear to live. You cannot outrun it.
The last story reminds me of the one woman who was kidnapped and was almost completely beheaded but managed to crawl to a nearby highway and get help to ultimately survive the incident
In the story with Ali, at 15:30, as he is looking directly into the camera, his eyes are as black as pitch. In both eyes, his ENTIRE eyeball is eerily black and it looks quite disturbing. Any time I see this in anyone it always freaks me out and make a chill run through me. And any time I see this in anyone they virtually always turn out to be a killer or some other kind of brutal criminal. So Ali turning out to be a killer is quite fitting given the black eyes seen at least for a few seconds in this video. I’m absolutely positive that it is not a digital artifact because this video is much too high resolution and color quality for it to be any kind of glitch, including an artifact.
Your wife is not just your wife. She is a person. If she doesn’t want to be with you, you have no right to tell her that she has to. You are not entitled to a family, especially if you treat them like that.
I wish there was some type of government organization where if you are being stalked to an extent, they assign you a bodyguard or private investigator.
It's absolutely amazing that after seeing and hearing all that, when you play his Skyrim clip I still laughed at it because it's so perfect and still funny somehow. Even with the tragedy it still manages to get a chuckle out of me
Same here. I caught myself in a laugh and then felt bad and heartbroken for his daughter. I remember discovering his Skyrim videos back before we knew he was a monster. Genuinely great stuff. It really is a reminder that you never know who anyone really is behind the rose tinted lens of social media. Especially entertainers and influencers who are great at masking for their audience.
26:28 the dog was probably there because of an old trick that has gone around for when you need to bury a body - it’s said that if you need to hide a body and not have it be discovered, you bury a dog a few feet above so the person finds the dog and stops digging.
Black bears can most definitely follow you up a tree, it's the same reason Black Bears won't attack you over their cubs because they can stick them up in the trees real quick if they are afraid. Grizzly/Brown bears cant climb a tree however and are far more likely to attack
Re Ali - sadly his reaction to the situation (which was entirely of his making) shows how narcissistic and Emotionally insecure he is. It is impossible for people like him to see that they were the cause of the situation and/or take responsibility for it and then do the right thing.
This is a very fitting description for Mary… she looks like Xena Warrior Princess in one of those last photos! Straight up badass woman! She deserves eternal happiness.

I had (?) a stalker for almost 10 years before I could get a protective order against him. Nothing is more terrifying then trying to reason with a person who believes wholeheartedly that you belong to them. It didn’t matter that I told this person, (who I NEVER dated or showed any romantic interest in) that I would never be with them or see them romantically; he was convinced I “was made for “ him and that assaulting me would be the only way to make me see that we “belonged together “. I moved away after I got my protective order and years later I still get calls from friends warning me that the dude is still posting about me and him being together forever. You can’t reason with these people and it’s terrifying.

Was thinking the same thing as soon as he mentioned the dog corpse
I came to the comments to see if someone already said this bc this was my IMMEDIATE thought
Also someone as deranged as the stalker probably legitimately thought the plan would work
Ali's thoughts going "that's my family" as he sees the other guy kiss his wife, and then immediately proceeding to _shoot_ said wife dead, really shows how sometimes, by "my family", people mean it *very* literally - "my", as in "one I own". It is depressing to ponder, how often do people actually hold completely selfish sentiments while coincidentally sounding like a caring person. Not to mention the fact, that he mentioned her being "his family" in the same string of thoughts as listing out "his table" and "his furniture"..
Yuuuuuup. It's pure selfish entitlement that drives so many of these domestic abusers.

It's genuinely scary how people don't see a clear cut case of how an abusive man turned murderer as wrong because "she cheated" or "he looked so nice in his videos, so it had to be a moment of passion"- unnerving.

I don't know, I think there's things we're missing. People don't just do things like that. To get a person to that extreme, something had to have been going on that we aren't seeing.

The dog bones might belong to a random dog.

@@alexthering6615 Dawg I just fkn said murder was unjustifiable, be the reason cheating or even if someone murdered someone else that was close to you.
WOW! Mary Vincent is one AMAZING, BAD-ASS woman!!! What a horrific yet awesomely inspiring story! The human spirit is shockingly resilient.
No young man deserves to be mauled by a bear:(
Stay away from bears people PLEASE
Mary Vincent is a beast of a woman, a testament to the human race's ability and drive to survive against all odds.
I don't think many humans before or after could've done it, it's something special within her.
Young woman however are totally okey as bear snacks
So glad to learn the story of Mary Vincent! You're an inspiration girl! Wish I was half as strong as you are
I’ve heard the last one before :) it’s an amazing story and so powerful. I absolutely love her story and how it shows courage and strength that women have. :) much love Cadeber, thank you for covering that story
mary is so admirable and strong
New Cadaber video, instantly things suck noticably less.
People always say it was different back then, it wasn't. The incidents from back then are the cautionary examples we use now.
Hitchhiking was frowned upon as a low class mode of transportation. People who weren't around then like to think everyone was fine with hitchhiking, but they weren't. It was a either an "I'm broke and can't afford a car" or a teenage rebellion to horrify your parents thing.
I just can’t get over what an incredible individual Mary Vincent is!!! JUST WOW!!!!
Can't say that I'd rate my chances of living through what Mary Vincent did very high. It is tragic that he got the chance to kill again, but I am glad they finally put him away before Mary had to make a custom prosthetic for firing guns.
Great way to spend my lunch break is watching Cadaber
“The scary dabbing skeleton is gone, he can’t hurt you anymore.”
“We’ll see about that, Babe.”
"And then guess what I hear... My nightmare... R&B music" lmao okay but thats just funny and not what I expected.
This is a great format! Great video!
And my biggest respect to Mary Vincent!
"He spent the next few years existing" You know someone's bad when they get called out for just existing
Oh my god. That story about Mary. I just have no words.
What the absolute hell! I literally just found and started watching your channel an hour ago. AND YOU JUST UPLOADED???
All of these stories were WOW. Thanks for telling them, and so very well.
Dang. Four murders in this video could have been prevented. Why doesn’t the system take stalking and serial abusers seriously?
I love the logic of "we went into the innocent animals home, it defended its home, so now we must kill it"
About the bear story, whilst going to school in black bear country, I went on a walk on a mountain on campus.
I've been watching this channel for a year and never realized that it's not barely sociable
“It broke my heart to see the woman I repeatedly abuse being happy with someone else”
right…..
Still cheated and likely was cheating prior considering how quickly she had a strange man in the house she shares with hare daughter.
@@limericky8548 yeah see you just made that up. She moved on from an abuser and he had a sadly very predictable reaction. Caping for an abusive murderer is ridiculous and you need to get help
@@zephskitten didn't read lol
@limericky8548 yes, because she was in the process of DIVORCING HIM, it's not a horrible crime to be seeing someone else while you're currently in the process of divorcing someone

Hope you make this a series. Great content Cadaber. Fav video behind Ghost of Carmel Maine.
Watched 3 videos back to back. I’m here to stay homie. SUBSCRIBED ✅
There is a good episode on Mary's attack of "I survived" it's her retelling her story, free on youtube
I just finished binging every cadaber video yesterday and there’s already a new one, yay 😍
Someone should make a super heroine story out of Mary Vincent. That woman is beyond brave, she's indestructible.
32:25 That's a big boy 😍
I wonder if Darsh uttered 'oh lawd, he comin'
Poor bear, rip
Am I the only one who kinda gets Cadaber and Nexpo mixed up, like they're both great, their 'main' content topics are different but with enough overlap that you can't remember which one did certain videos? They MUST have a lot of the same viewers because anytime I watch one, RUclips suggests videos by the other, right at the top of the list.
Pretty much the same with Barely Sociable, Nexpo did a lake city quit pills video. I was like hm, i already know about this from Barely Sociable, but he went into even more detail that i had no idea about.
@@edwingonzalez7691 YES! It was getting a little too geek-deep for me, but I get why viewers who are really into the LCQP mystery would like that level of investigation, and I would like it for certain other mysteries.
@@edwingonzalez7691 I just went to Barely's page -ha, no wonder I forgot about him; his uploads are few and far between. It's too bad because I like his style a lot. Maybe he has a full time jobby-job so he can't devote a lot of time to content creation.
@@edwingonzalez7691 damn!! I saw that Nexpo video in my subs and thought it must be a re-upload. Didn’t watch it because I thought I’d already seen it. Forgot that Barely Sociable had done the vid I was thinking of.
@@cl7510 Yup, it was Barely's very first upload.
If a black bear charges at you, ESPECIALLY if you're in a group, DO NOT RUN UNLESS THERE IS SAFETY EXTREMELY CLOSE BY. You MUST not show signs of fear or you WILL die. You NEED to intimidate the bear to live. You cannot outrun it.
yesss perfect video before bed
He's wearing black contact lenses as it's a Skyrim video they were doing.
Nothing weird there.
Mary genuinely inspires me
A few years back I was on a trail and came across fresh bear poo. I damn near added to that pile 😂
I can't help but ask - how did you know it was from a bear?
Your wife is not just your wife. She is a person. If she doesn’t want to be with you, you have no right to tell her that she has to. You are not entitled to a family, especially if you treat them like that.
I wish there was some type of government organization where if you are being stalked to an extent, they assign you a bodyguard or private investigator.
Wow can’t express how much i admire Mary!
Holy shit, the Jinnkid story shocked me bc I remember that specific Skyrim video he did and this is just horrifying.
Now here is the birthday present I really wanted. Thank you!
Reminds me why I cannot and will not separate the art from the artist
@@ViolentAurora "art" is a strong word here
@@scheezy 🤣 yes it is, I agree
Another nicely well done video Cadaber!!!
Thanks for the awesome upload. I know it is rare to hear a creator slip off the veil and express the level of anger and hatred alot of these "people/monsters" truly deserve with the Mary Vincent case.
Every time you mentioned the last name, Darsh....it reminded me of the south park episode where they call Stan marsh, Stan Darsh...
Jinnkid makes me so angry. The sense of entitlement he has. Wtf
He let his anger get the best of him
I had (?) a stalker for almost 10 years before I could get a protective order against him.
Had to kill my bass for this one, had the MX4's VIBE'N lol
Great to know that at least one of these stories has a happy ending, no matter how twisted it might be...
