How to Use TP-LINK MR3420 Router as Wireless Bridge

Thanks, I got it working but with some details:
*the repeater router must be pluged to the network with a wire, in order to have internet :)
*the WAN slot on the repeater must not be used!
*DHCP must be off
*the repeater can be in the same network ip group: i.e. the main router 192.168.0.1, the repeater 192.168.0.2 and in the main router I configured DHCP settings to assing ip range from 192.168.0.3 and to 100 in order to reserve the first two ip addresses
*And most important the SSID must be the same in both routers, its in the video but I just want to emphasize it.

how do we test if the bridge is working when it might be still the root router that is sending wireless signal in the first place.

This is repeater and not bridge mode. And unfortunately doesn't work for router with newer firmware model. But thanks for the tutorial anyway

Yeah the TP-LINK MR3420 - has issues using WDS... I installed the gargoyle_1.10.0-ar71xx-generic-tl-mr3420 it did the job easily - to install gargoyle firmware first install goldenorb firmware then upgrade to gargoyle...
