Such a great video, very informative in such a short space of time. You really helped me out today in getting my car started by swapping relays as shown and my car started, thanks so much. Elaine from Ireland 👍
Very helpful. The problem I’m having is that my car won’t start unless I push on the relays and somebody turns the key to start it, it was like that for a couple of weeks and now even if someone pushes on it it won’t start. Mine is a 2009 Mazda 3
My husband hooked the battery up wrong we have changed the main80 fuse it was blown the stereo fuse was blown replace that every thing working on the car but once you turn the key over it clicks before replace battery it worked with a jump but the battery was bad so bought new one was hooked up wrong the horn started beeping like crazy wipers turned on he got little spark sound any advice thank you ?
On the under the hood box you see that bolt that connect a wire? That is making my car shut off what is that part called and also I use a knife to move it and it will give my car power again do you know what my issue can be there is some corrosion on it
Hey, I have same car. My glow plugs don't apear on the dash. I look in the issue and all is pointing out to this relay problems. Can you help me pint point the location of the Glow plug relay and the main relay? Also, where can I buy the relay, are the universal for all cars and what shoud I look for? Thank you!
I have an issue I have a Mazda CX nine 2010 my battery went out but when I put the new battery in I didn’t get no power but I’m not for sure where to find the battery fuse
I’ve lost my ignition key and am trying to start the car to drive to Mazda to save on a tow truck. I used some wire from the two terminals mentioned on the starter. The car cranks and cranks and cranks but won’t fire…. There is nothing wrong with the vehicle, am I missing something here???
I don't know what year they started doing this, but mine (2013) has a smart chip imbedded in the ignition key. This type of anti-theft feature is specifically designed to prevent the engine from starting without the correct key (correct key cut *and* a transponder chip code matching the ones already stored in computer memory), so (as I am sure you know by now) you, and anyone else running into this problem are probably out of luck trying to "hotwire" your own car. I don't know if the computer disables the fuel, the spark, or both whenever the smart chip is not present, but if the feature were easy to bypass, it would still be easy to steal the car without the proper key.
Someone please help me... I just bought this car mazda 3 takuya 2011, after 3 days when i tried to start the car nothing happened when i put the key, no lights , no sounds nothing, it's like dead car, battery is almost new, so whats the issue?
I have a 2013 Mazda3 (2.0 NON-Skyactiv engine). From the factory, the positive battery terminal clamp has 2 integrated inline fuses going to 2 separate wires. I think the white wire on the left goes to the starter, but I also wonder what else (if anything) it supplies voltage to, because it looks scorched. I think that wire's increased resistance after getting scorched and subsequently corroded is what's causing the car to not crank over, even when I only leave it sitting for 1-2 days in 70-90 degree weather. What I don't understand is how the wire could have gotten overloaded enough to be visibly burned without blowing that integrated fuse. Maybe when I replace the wire, I need to bump its gauge a notch larger. BTW, I've seen acid-induced corrosion on terminals, and this is too non-fuzzy too and isolated ONLY to THIS wire (and not even on the terminal or clamp) for the overload not to be the main cause of the wire's corrosion. The battery is only a couple of years old, and yesterday right after it failed to crank, I measured it at 12.4v. It sounds like the relay is clicking, but that's one thing I need to go back and verify now that I know where it is (thanks). The car starts easily once I can get it to crank over, and it will easily do that once I boost it with another car & jumper cables. I think the added amps from the boost is overcoming the increased resistance of this wire to the starter, so it starts right up. If the white wire feeds an entire wiring sub-harness, anything on that harness could have caused the overload which scorched the white wire, plus the entire sub-harness might have to be replaced (in addition to whatever caused the overload). BUT if the white wire goes to ONLY the starter (and maybe the alternator), the potential culprits are reduced greatly, and I may only need to replace the white wire itself (plus whichever of those 2 items that caused the overload). It'll be nearly 90 degrees when I get off work & can get dirty enough to trace the white wire myself, so if I can find out from someone here, or from a wiring diagram what all it goes to, that'd be great (lol).

God bless you and God bless Ireland!
Thank you so much man.. You saved me getting stuck in a random place. ❤❤
Bruh that was exactly what I needed to see. Thank you. Saved me 160 bucks on a new starter
Are you sure that your car doesn't need a new starter.
My 2010 Mazda 3 sometimes does not turn over
Are you sure that your Mazda does not need a new starter
Very clear and specific tips. Thanks
Very helpful, thank you so much

Did you figure out what was wrong ?

Same thing happened to my brother, he jumped the relay and car started, replaced relay and no crank no start with just key. any ideas?
It might need the new starter

Hi, is it possible that none of the eletric sistem funcion because of that?

Hey lehew, if you connect both points with a wire and it starts what can be the issue ? I changed the starter relay but didnt solve the issue,
What if the car dont start unless i plug in a wire in the main fuse?
And whenever you get a chance can you let me know what is all the problems if the car will not start
I have an issue I have a Mazda CX nine 2010 my battery went out but when I put the new battery in I didn’t get no power but I’m not for sure where to find the battery fuse
Can the starter relay be tested with a multimeter?
Got a mazda 3 2017 model starter button blinking orange no start signal on starter in pls advice

If you can connect the two points and it does start does that mean i need a new fuse
Because i just switched the fuse from the horn and it still wont start
@@spartan3533 then you need to check the two fuses he pointed out earlier in the video, and possibly the ignition.
Is it the same on a 2013?
It's take a few times for mine to turn over.
Mine too I have a 2010 Mazda 3
I did not replace the relay or the starter but I think mine might be a starter issue. It has a 260,000 mi on it
I have the same problem where the car dies immediately upon removing the jump start cables but once dead the car doesn't seem to start up at all?
What was the solution? I'm having the same issue
Usually it would be the alternator...
Amazing
My husband is thinking it could be this but he not mechanical incline can I attach a pic

Can you do the same video on a gen 1 lmao 😂
Mazda is expensive to repair... No crank and no Start :( ..
Mi no entender!!
