I had no intention of calling him out. I was here to help provide my thoughts on his lights. I felt his show could of been rushed as he is in a new place. The majority of his lights appear to be pre programmed sequences that come with the majority of sequencing programs such as madrix or nutcracker. I feel there was not enough of a customized feel to his show so far. Pointing out a couple things I noticed was the fact he did not use his instruments like he did last year. He decided to take the "easy" route out. He could of done a bunch more stuff that would of been more pleasing to the eye to watch. How ever I feel there was not enough attention focused on the detail of how the lights were operated. This is always the difficult part of doing these shows. I understand this completely. I am just trying to give him honest feed back on my thoughts of what he did and what I feel he could do differently. If you want to call that calling him out. That is your choice. How ever this was not my intention. With that I will end this. Have a great halloween!

Of course installation was $12,587 so if he put it up himself he saved himself some big bucks! I wouldn't worry about the suggestions bothering Tom. He's got his hands full trying to find a gigantic guitar pick in medium or heavy. All anyone has is gigantic picks in light.

+Yortunato Fabut He's not saying its pre-programmed, he's saying the effects are generated by programs like Nutcracker, etc. You can, of course, modify these effects to your display. This is what Tom did and it's great. For example, the "propeller" effect in Tom's show is a new effect you can do with Nutcracker. It would be impossible to hand program an effect like that.
Any tips for starting from scratch for a project like this? I'm decorating 200 acres of a 4-H Camp as a fund raiser for a halloween and christmas event, would love to do something like this, but I have NO CLUE where to even begin...

Do you really use the Magicolour HG230B Beams on the roof! a pack of 4 costs $3999 and you have 8 of them. That's like $8K on the roof alone!!! WOW! I love your shows btw. My favorite is the Star Wars one with the light saber fight. Great job Tom!
