Fixed ONE earbud suddenly QUIET (How to)

- In this video we are fixing our JBL TWS earbuds (in this case the waterproof JBL Reflect Mini NC). The problem is that one of the earbuds is a lot quieter than the other.
When looking into the hole of both ear-tips, then we can see that the one, which is quieter, has a blockage of dirt, grime and earwax, blocking the path of the sound. Especially the grid at the very outside is clogged.
We are soaking the earbuds in a little amount of rubbing alcohol in order to resolve the blockage. Leave the earbud in the solution for at least half an hour. Make sure not to dunk the entire earbud, especially in case your earbud model is not considered waterproof. - Хобби
It's always the left one

Frrr
Right one for me 😒

Am i the only one trying to listen to the video with the quiet earbud? 🤔
I am too😂
Nahhhh😂😂😂
No, your not alone
I’m even listening on the same exact model of earbuds😂
Haha I've bought 3 pairs in the last year.. every single one on the right side is so quiet.
Sorry i can't hear you my earbuds are too quiet
Same thing I'm saying to myself😂
Can't believe this actually worked... I was about to buy new ones. Who knew that the wax affected the sound this much. Learned something very valuable today, thank you!
J
What I can't still believe is that this issue remains generally and I haven't seen any earbuds have this problems resolve.
I did the same thing but it’s still quiet
In my case it was also very sudden so I didn't expect it to be earwax. I would have thought earwax would have been more gradual instead of such a sudden drop in volume level

Thank you so much! I tried this with my jbl reflect pros and it worked like a charm. The sound on the left was barely audible but now it works like new! May you forever be blessed!
I rarely comment on videos but this one was genuinely helpful. I did not expect this method to work but it actually did! Thank you so much and I recommend for anyone having a similar issue to try what is shown in the video. There is a good likelihood that it will work!
I've never commented on a you tube video before but I just had to say thanks. This was the easiest fix ever!! I'm so glad I found this. I actually soaked a makeup remover pad in the rubbing alcohol and left the ear bud wrapped in it for an hour before I removed it. I was concerned that the liquid would ruin them and this way only the end was in the liquid. Thanks again I'm so happy with the result
I've been using Sephia SP3060 earbuds for the last 2 or 3 weeks and was already having problems with the audio in the right earbud being barely audible. I took off the tips and used an alcohol swab to clean both earbuds on both grates on each side, and it did the trick. I never would've thought to try this, thank you very much!
The comments stating how much this has helped others gave me hope and they did not disappoint. Mine are like brand new again after doing this!
Omg I was searching for a whole week for this. I tried so much, factory reset, tried other devices. God damn man thank you soooooo much! Awesomeeee!
was a little skeptical at first but this worked perfectly! thank you so much
I was gaving this exact problem and just assumed that after a year of use the right side had a prob. Initially, the right side touch controls had stopped working.
After trying this, both the sound and touch features on the buds is back to like when i first took them outta the box.
Thank you so much for sharing...
I cannot believe it worked! i was so worried that it would break but no it made it better, gosh the stress relief is insane, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Yo dude, I was already looking up my warranty and this fixed everything! Just the smallest amount of wax removed and not only do I hear the sound a lot better but the BASS is so much better again, sound like brand new! thank you so much!
That fixed the problem for me! Unbelievable! I really thought it was broken because suddenly it started sounding so so low. This solution has been magic, thanks a lot.
If I knew this was such an easy fix I would have done it awhile ago. Thanks for the help.
ok so i didn't do this method too much cause i was afraid, but a few minutes of this and it actually fixed the problem! i hecking love you for this video! thank you.
I'm here to say the same as everyone else.
You sir are the best. I literally took mine out of the garbage.
Looking for a lot of tutos and vids, this one the only that worked for me, they are finally fixed, thanks so much
Lifesaver! I thought the buds were gone, but they're 80% back! Thank you!
Thank you!! I've been looking for a solution and this one fixed my right earbud. All I had were those alcohol wipe tabs you get from a first aid kit, but I took one and pressed it to my JBL vibe earbud for about 10 mins and it works so much better now!
You're the best man. I was about to lose hope since I dropped mine and thought I screwed it up for good, turns out it just needed a few cleaning. Great help bud.
Glad to hear! 👍. Thank you for your feedback!

I thought my ear buds were done for, thank you! I've cleaned them before but it just took a deeper cleaning this time
You saved me from buying more earbuds! I let my left JBL Tour One Pro sit on a alcohol-soaked cotton ball for two minutes (no shot glass) and Bass I love You was banging in both ears! Thank you!
thanks for the cotton tip !
I'm not using JBL, I tried what you said multiple times it didn't work, the sound on the left was louder. Two days later I got angry and decided to do what you said we shouldn't; I hit the right earbud on a table multiple times. Now the sound is back to normal and balanced 😅
OMG it worked !!! thank you, I used 90% alcohol and dunk it for a minute and a good wipe with a damped towel with alcohol and it worked like magic now my left side earbud has more volume !!! THANK YOUUUU !!
This actually worked!!! I had the left side of my 1MORE EVO headphones be barely audible compared to the right side, and ever since dipping it in alcohol for half an hour, it works again good as new! I've been frustrated with this issue for months! Subscribed!
FINALLY SOME 1MORE EVO, will try to mine, mine was one-side sound low volume and kinda chippy
Thank you so much!! This really helps. i was getting worried cause it was so expensive 😭😭😭😭 so I'm very happy it worked.
It works wonderfully. I had a huge headache on the right side of my head bc the sound of music/ audio wasn't flowing properly thru my head and ears earlier but now back to perfectly normal flow
Surprised this actually worked, i never comment on videos but generally helpful, thank you!
Thank you this was driving me crazy with mine!
I was do surprised when this actually worked!! Thank you so much!! 🙏🙏
THANK YOU SO MUCH. This is literally magic. After I wiped my earbuds, it WORKED! MY MONEY IS SAVED!!!
U think it can work if i do it with water ? 😭
Wow man your a life saver, this worked really well. May God bless you.

What earbuds did you use for the video? I have the reflect flow pro and the left earbud volume is low, but the grid looks different from the ones in your video
Thank you! This worked perfectly with my panasonic/technics earbuds! Thank you!
magical. worked like a charm. didn't use the liquid though, I just had to remove that little silver membrane and remove the dirt physically
Fortunately, this was the same case for me ! Thanks!
This worked perfectly for me! I was so worried that I'd have to get new earbuds because I really love my Edifier X3S, the right earbud was quieter. I didn't have any rubbing alcohol lying around but I had one of them alcohol prep pads that you use for wiping your phone screens before putting on a new screen protector. I just wrapped one of them on the earbud grille and held it for 2 minutes and it worked like a charm. Thank you very much for this amazing tip❤
This worked, thanks for the helpful information!
It really worked. Many thanks for this video. Earphone now is back to normal. That's awesome.
OH MY GOSH! ... The best advise I have ever received! YOU sir are amazing!
IT WORKED!!!!!!!! WHAT???? I literally lived with 90% of the audio coming from one earbud for like 2 months because I thought it was permanently broken. Thank you so much!!!
U think ut can work with water ? 😭
@@mouhamedrahimndao8770 it worked for me with water, for like 6 weeks then it went back lol
But mine are waterproof i think
@@hellohihey782 i have the exact same airpod reflect flow mini nc and the same problem bimut i dont have alcohol 😭
@@hellohihey782 but *
I didn't put my earbuds into alcohol but I just cleaned this with needle and it helped, thanks for that man because I really wanted to buy new ones.
Glad to hear that the method worked! Thank you for your feedback 👍
OMG... such a simple solution. scratching the dirt away with my fingernail was already enough...
Man I thought I was gonna have to replace these things, thought my speaker got fried, but this actually worked.
omgggg .... thank you so much for this videoooooo ... i have the same model and this issue has been so annoying .. i have tried a thousand ways and they only work temporarily.. i will try your method and hopefully it works .. thanks again 😍🙏
My ear buds had a little screen that could be taken off, had to do that to clean the other side, crazy how small we can make things
Worked for me and saved me returning a perfectly good, if slightly earwaxy 😮, product.
Thanks for sharing.
This was genuinely helpful
i tried this to my silent bud and now it sounds better than the other one. thank you ur a legend
please tell me you cleaned the other one lol
I have this problem with the exact same earbuds i was so scared youare a savior
Man I've had my raycon earbuds for almost 4 years now and I thought my right earbud was going out and I was gon have to replace them until I saw this video. I soaked both earbuds in alcohol and now they work like new! Much appreciation! 👍🏾
Awesome, glad to hear👍. Thank you for your feedback!
How do I dry them
@@Bobbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb I just let them air dry overnight
Hi! I'm afraid to do it with my earbuds. I have JBL reflect mini, you have the same right? Thank you:)
This worked very well for me, had a pair of old earbuds that I replaced because of this issue among others, now I have 2 working sets of earbuds.
God bless you, MAN. You helped me, works for JBL 200TWS like a charm
I was searching the whole time for a working tutorial but they all said that resetting will fix it😂 i understand u broo
How long should you leave them in the rubbing alcohol
Thanks for sharing, it worked fantastically!
Just to be safe, does this work with the soundcore VR p10 earbuds?
Just tried it and it worked like a charm.
Thank you so much it worked and I was afraid I broke them ❤❤❤
Bro this actually worked really great
So I'm having an entirely different issue with mine, it could because they're a different one, mine is the JBL club pro + but my right one was quiet for a while but now both are extremely quiet, it's not ear wax so I'm lost on what the problem is.
Thank you so much 🥰 it felt so weird at the gym
Wow I didn't believe that would actually work but it legit did. Earbuds back to normal. Thanks so much 🤗
Glad to hear! Thank you for your feedback 👍
It actually worked! Thank you so much!
I tried it twice, but not with a shot glass (don't have one). I'm wondering it I didn't put it in the alcohol deep enough.
Beauty it actually worked thankyou! 🙌🙌
Thanks for this!
Thank you. This solved my problem 👍
Unbelievable! This didn't make a lot of sense to me coz it was sudden and affecting always the same earbud. But I gave it a try and it worked!
So my right earbud is connected but not playing, it can still use touch control. Any idea what this is? Is the speaker out? This didn’t work but it just not be dirty
THAAANKS SO MUCH DUDE!! Your the best man.
Oh wow this actually worked for me. For the ones that don't have waterproof earbuds, I damped a piece of paper towel and pressed it against the mesh.
Thank you so much for this video I fixed my JBLs 👊🏾 I was gonna buy a new pair
So what if the sound distorted will that fix it too??
This worked for me. Thank you!
This worked for me. Thanks so much 👍🙏😎
I actually have the exact same earbuds, but I took a more brute approach. I removed the grille in front of the driver (yes stupid I know) but i’m actually still having the same problem. when I first turn on the earbuds they’re balanced but as I use them, the right one gets quieter. does anyone have a fix for this?
Brilliant. Thanks so much!
Thanks this worked realy well and i just used an wet qtip and it worked perfecly
Thank you so much!
Checked, works, many thanks.
If you are from the Balkans, rakija works too.
Thanks man! You are genius
It worked! and I didn't even have to use propyl alcohol. I just used a cotton swab.
Thanks for the help. *They both work now!* 😃
Thanks very much. This worked very well. I sunk both earbuds in 70% spirit. And both are working very well. Thanks a million
My right JBL Reflect Mini suddenly had almost NO volume.
I soaked the earpiece tip in a shotglass with hot water for 5 minutes and dried it with papertowel.
Works like a charm again.
Bro just saved my earphones, thanks a lot ❤❤
What can i use instead of rubbing alcohol
This was amazing! I gently swished the end of my earphone back and forth a bit of vodka for about a minute and it cleared it right up!
Oh. My. God. It actually worked my guy, thanks!
I swear to whoever i believe in i was gonna throw my JBL live pro+!!! The right volume was extremely low.. i just washed it with water lol. The buds were water resistant and it worked!! Thanks man, you just saved my bling ❤
I just did this for my galaxy buds and now the audio on the right side is a little messed up but the left side is a little better so i dont know if it helped
You absolute hero, thank you so much
Tried these with my Jaybird Vista. Left earbud wasn’t working. Put it in fairy liquid cup and left it in for 15 minutes. Took it out and dried it with a hair drier. Headphones are back to brand new quality. Omg. Wow.. Thank you!
Thank you! Brilliant!
In 2 months my earbuds aero reflect, lowered volume - when new i could not use max volume but now i am at max and still is too low. I tried the JBL hot water 1mm dip but no change, brush them. But your method might work. I will try
Thanks
Cant believe this was the issue. Thanks.
Thank you it worked!! I didn’t even then think about them being dirty
