So happy to see a video about this , there are many brands that are are ethical/sustainable while nice are very much normie style of fashion. And while brands like kill star or dark in love are beautiful It has become a growing concern for me to find ethical/ sustainable alternative brands. Some brands I would also recommend are toonzshop, exo umbra and foxblood. I will definitely have to check out some of these brands as there were quite a few I did not know about. Hey Emily, we loved that you mentioned us in your video! Thank you for supporting all of this amazing sustainable shops. We will be contacting you via Instagram for a cool gift we have for you! Have a magical day!
Snag tights are fantastic quality: I worn the vanilla coloured pair for my wedding day. They were absolutely full proof, no snags or mishaps which was of course so important for me as the bride, especially as this pair was my first purchase from them. I was very happy with the quality of them and unlike other tights, they actually molded to my curves! I got them after a colleague was raving about them and she has several pairs.
Hey Emily babe! Could you do a video about afordable alternative brands? Im a nurse and Im saving money to go live in another country so I cant spend much money on clothes. It burns me to pay 70 euros or so for a dress. Love you!
If you can, thrifting is your friend. Sustainable brands cost more due to the fact that they pay their workers properly and make sure they aren't at risk of dying in unstable buildings. Fast fashion alternative is honestly fairly expensive considering the quality, and have a whole host of problems with ethics and racism and ableism. It sucks because ethical fashion costs a lot, but it does cause you to make more meaningful purchases. Signing up for email lists and getting the typical 10% off and shopping sales is helpful as well.
OMG I LOOOOOOVE SNAG TIGHTS!!!!! A friend got me onto them about 18 months ago. The most comfy tights I have ever worn (I am a chubilicious 5ft 8 lady and comfy tights that stay up are hard to find) plus, my very first set of tights I ordered over a year ago, I am still wearing! No ladders, no holes...Suffragette purple are the most gorgeous purple! I have actually just made another order this week - finally got my hands on the Raspberry Pie pair which are the most beautiful vivid, bright pink but are always sold out. Flipping love them and cannot recommend this brand enough.

One of my favorite vids from you so far. I had to keep pausing the video and checking out the stores you mentioned that were plus size. I've been wanting to get back to my spooky side and I've gained a bunch of weight and everything I've seen hasn't been big enough for me, and I figured I'd have to wait until I lost enough weight. And I really appreciate that you take the time to actually read and respond to comments. You took the time to respond to a comment of mine on your last video and it really made my day and made me feel noticed and appreciated. So thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep up the great videos!
One shop I noticed a while back while trying to find my Halloween costume this year is Holy Clothing! They're a lot like the Elven Forest brand. I've been living for the medieval/Renaissance/antique aesthetic as of late (long story short, got obsessed with the BBC show Merlin lol) so I gushed when I saw the pics for Elven Forest and ran straight to their website! But Holy Clothing is a bit cheaper with more options and also are an ethical slow fashion brand! The only thing is I don't believe they do made-to-order but most of their sizes go up to a US 5X (size 30/32 🤤). Just a little tidbit for people that may have been loving Elven Forest but just can't quite do the price tag.
Hi Emily🖤. I recently ordered from wildemode. And of course I got the cobweb design comfort top and matching high waisted pants. Soft and warm like a hug when you not feeling the best. Also they have a good stretch to them. My bra size is 32JJ and ordered top in XL, but I feel like L would fit me too. I live in UK and delivery was quick and packaging is cute too. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This is such an amazing video!! I have so much trouble finding clothing that's slow fashion, accessibly priced, MY SIZE, and not boring as hell. Ty so so much
I’m a MASSIVE fan of Wild Mode and their comfort tops. I have big boobs (32F) but I also have old back and rib injuries that make wearing a bra quite sore. Their comfort tops are the perfect solution. Soooo comfortable, look cool and give me no pain! Moonmaiden is also my favourite gothic clothing brand and I own so many pieces from them. I used to be a big fan of Cosmic Drifters and own some lovely pieces from them to, but the length of time it takes to receive your order has put me off a bit.
Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab is my fave perfume store, been around for years, very goth, super creative and run by a little lovely goth family in California. The shipping makes me cry but its worth spending on such a cool small business
Oh you should also check out Screaming Mandrake Perfumes. It’s a U.K. based one woman business, it’s all vegan and her perfumes are witchy themed and just divine!
Omg you have coontails! I love it! I love a lot of makeup but that fox palette was awesome. I can't wait to finally afford stuff once I get sober. Thanks for the video boo. 🖤💚🖤

Noticing that some of these brands have models that are poc makes me even happier
@Maurelle Vallenwood I am too and I honestly get much hate for it at times too because of the "goth is white" bias that's been out for so long

Hey Emily, I just wanted to say thank you so much for taking the time to find all these sustainable/ethical brands. I really appreciate it😊
You are so welcome!
I almost died seeing you get as excited as I was over the KIK pants I have identical memories of those day's as well 😂❤🌹
"Gutsy Gingers" based in Whitby
is a good one.
Thank you SO much for including so much fantasy/cosplay stuff! I am in HEAVEN!
You're so welcome!
I just wanted to say thank you for your videos. They always put a smile on my face no matter what the topic is. And I really appreciate that you take the time to actually read and respond to comments. You took the time to respond to a comment of mine on your last video and it really made my day and made me feel noticed and appreciated. So thank you from the bottom of my heart and keep up the great videos!
You're very welcome Ashley
@@emilybooboo as long as you're here, I'll be here lol 🥰❤
The hair gives me 2007 vibes so hard. I fucking love you.
I do 90% porcent of My shopping from thrift shops 🖤👌🏻 only accesories and shoes are from Etsy or asian store
I'm trying to transition into one of the alternative subcultures and this series helps so much, thank u so much!
You're so welcome!
Thanx for letting me know. I've already filmed the second video for this one but i'll save this store incase I do another one x
That's fantastic to hear :D x
This is such an amazing video!! I have so much trouble finding clothing that's slow fashion, accessibly priced, MY SIZE, and not boring as hell. Ty so so much
You're so welcome, very glad it was helpful x
Dani filth ahhh my first death metal crush next to mayhem im so happy you made more! These are the best!
Thank you for being a BEAUTIFUL soul and sharing these independent shops!!
You are so welcome!
"Ruby Rose can touch my inner circle anytime." Girlllll, I feel you lol.
These all look lovely! As soon as I saw that CoF palette I had to pause and go look at the link, omg. I have a -MIGHTYNEED-!!
I also recommend chnge and official rebrand (OR?!)
Omg you have coontails! I love it! I love a lot of makeup but that fox palette was awesome. I can't wait to finally afford stuff once I get sober. Thanks for the video boo. 🖤💚🖤
Glad you enjoyed it! Good luck with your journey x
Thank you because I've been looking for online alternative for so long ! There are very few thrift tores where I live and they all sell grandma-like clothes...
I found you right as I was almost brainwashed out of my own style and I just want to thank you so much for your content. Like wow. I’m starting a channel soon and I can only hope to be as amazing and inspiring as you
Awhhh so glad you kept your style! Good luck with your channel xx
Would be dope if you did a video on alternative brands on Etsy
Can we take a minute to appreciate all the hard work she put into this video? That's a hella lot of shops!! And I'm not sure if Jawbreaker is a sustainable brand, but I love their clothes :)
Thank you Kelsey
