Clearly very comfortable being surrounded by controversy, Daylyt seems to have the singular goal of becoming the most talked about figure in battle rap. Not far from achieving his goal, his recent antic-centric performances have earned him both a legion of followers and haters alike, a fact that doesn't seem to bother him one bit. The Watts, CA emcee does not just act out in battles; he has more than the skills needed to back up his actions. Known for packing his bars full of associate wordplay and coldly delivered punchlines, Day has proven time and time again that he is a threat to any and all challengers willing to step into the ring with him. With an impressive resume including matches against Shotty Horroh, Pass, and Math Hoffa, Daylyt is back in his native state ready to take on one his toughest opponents to date.
One of the most legendary figures to grace a battle stage, Head Ice is about as revered as battle rappers come. A veteran coming out of the Lionz Den, Ice has been battling for years, dating back to street corner battles in Harlem against historic emcees such as Big L. Definitely a style clash battle. These are always hard to pick a winner. If you looking for lyricism, wordplay, bars, Daylyt won no debate. If you looking for "real nigga-ness", Head Ice won, no debate. Great one off battle though.

This was just a better version of Charlie Clips vs X-Factor. Na, it was a good battle. Both of these men came with high quality material, and they showed real sportsmanship. Daylyt didn't do his antics because he was in the ring with a well known, respected battle rapper, which makes the battle conducive to his overall progression. Hence he feels he has something to prove, which is he can hang with or destroy all of them (his words "kill all these niggas"). I.C.E. came with some material I didn't expect to come from him. That's cause all his older battles were verses from his old songs, and all performance. When he writes for his opponent, he certainly proves he's worthy of any stage. He brought the street shit all the URL fans like, and he mixed it with jokes, humor, crowd control, basically the whole kitten kaboodle. Bottom line, both men won in my opinion, because they entertained and brought great material. Awesome battle.

Ice always raps like this, another dope style, while similar to 1 another daylyt's is more complicated with some punch lines possibly missing by going over somes head, ice being more grounded but just as witty.
