hello, very good video, congratulations I was confused about some details. You have only formatted the internal storage. why was it not necessary to clean the partitions system, vendor, etc? and not even make use of firmware or vendor before installing the rom? as we do in K20 pro
Cleaning those was for old devices when you don't format data. Like we do for K20P. But for newer devices which has dynamic partition like RN10P we don't need yo wipe anything cause that doesn't work. Formatting data means you're now good to flash a rom if you just reboot the recovery once after formatting. No firmware is needed as I am switching from miui and this is a early build. We may need it in future but not needed for now.
Nice! I have been following this project closely. It looks really nice. As I have been using LOS on my Poco f3 and absolutely love it: how does EvoX compare to LOS? Are they even comparable? Because I have recently bought my Poco F5 Pro. I'm not using it with MUIU out of spite haha, but I would like to try a different rom if it is as good as LOS in terms of stability, UI and performance!
I have showed the method I have followed and this particularly worked for me. Otherwise you can experiment with other methods as well but ofcourse everything is on your own risk.
Didn't get your question, that's the recovery file. You can download and extract the zip and you'll get recovery(.img) file. Then just paste that inside platform tools folder

Bro can you tune the display in this rom for increased colour saturation as stick rom has washed out colours. Mainly I want to know whether you can improve display and audio quality of the phone.
Generally need 7 days, I didn't have to wait at all, cause at the beginning I've added the account in mi unlock right when I started using it. I used the device 20-24 days then did the review and afterwards when I tried unlocking it just unlocked in one go. No waiting for me.

Here's a straight method for flashing roms, anything on or before K20P can be and should be decrypted for having seamless customrom flashing experience, later devices like RN10P, POCO F5 etc has dynamic partition where by default the storage like to be encrypted. If you do otherwise you may face problems while switching roms. Thanks, hope I could explain it well.

Use latest recovery, but won't recommend flashing magisk as of now. The HyperOS fw based builds are kinda in beta

You just need to flash disable force encryption file which you can find online for your device.

Backup all personal files, sms, contacts etc to a seperate pc. Restoring from Google cloud backup won't work.
