That is not a mid range chip and will be priced as a flagship that is around 30 to 45k, poco is just known for giving insane value for many phones and also their motherboards. Snapdragon naming scheme is really messed up. The processor is equal to SD 8 Gen 1 and even SD 8 + Gen 1
I think this processor will go crazy like the snapdragon 870 days and comparatively better than 8 gen 1.... hope we will see a competitive mid range segment. Really excited to see where it goes this year...😊
i saw on some channel they playing genshin impact better than F5 pro(SD8+G1) a little bit but i think for a long term 8+g1 is better SD7+G2 still great and i dont know about motherboard issue cause i use poco F3(SD870) for 2 years now and phone is not broken now 😅 i think the same with you this year most phone in this segment will come with SD7+G2!

I purchased the phone today ,yet to get the delivery,why i trusted Poco even after X3 fiasco ? Because of the processor SD 7 GEN 2 , why? The reason it won’t slow down ! Proof- I have my POCO f1 ( still running like a charm considering it has SD 845 ) about MB issue /dead issue - Poco seems to have learnt the lesson by providing 2 years of warranty and if things get bad after that We have twitter ,consumer forum just be aware of your right and you are good to go. Camera on this phone seems pathetic but i am Not purchasing it for camera because for this i have my poco F1 (with google cam ) it can rival the Pixel ,i mean it . I needed speed,Headphone jack,IR blaster plus a capable screen and all my checkbox is ticked . Still i am playing a gamble but i believe Poco won’t let me down ,if it let me down then Indian Government has ample consumer protection laws .
I am surprised how people are getting blind in trusting the Poco brand again. The twitter and Instagram is flooded with motherboard issues of Poco phones and bloody Poco brand is blocking everyone of them. Even RUclipsrs(except Techno Ruhez) are playing safe by not highlighting these issues and simply glorifying this Poco's new phone. Guys think 1000 times before purchasing a Poco phone now.
I like your reviews . I think its honest and u do deep reviews . What i like with indian tech reviewers . They go deep unlike western reviewers trying to make the phone looks good just to try to sell it . They got paid to do that i dont know . One clear example is unbox therapy that guy is the biggest imo i would say unbothered at all with u . 5 minutes 4 minutes about camera thats it .
Have been using Xiaomi products. , only X3 had issues of mb , though after one year or so every phone lags or slows down and yes redmi phones get switched of automatically that's the problem i had faced in every Xiaomi phones. But their ceo had guaranted saying now onwards poco won't face mb issues, though their poco x5pro 5g and latest poco f5 are really good but still one is not sure about the problem u may face . Thinking of shifting to iqoo as they too are bringing really great phones only thing is too pricy they should get it below 20k with the same specs as poco. And they are good and very reliable about their updates,u went get scared to update unlike in poco.
And do not update when there is any new software updates wait for reviews if there is no problem with the update then after 15 days to 1month update #MotherboardLifeMatters 😂😂😂😂😂

here in US the Note 12 Pro is $304 and Pro + $364, downside is the android 12 issue, just ok cameras and they both have slow processors Pixel 6a is $329 but 60hz screen, slow charging, but good cameras. Poco F5 is $383 with great hardware specs, only downside is weak cameras Realme GT2 Pro has everything just weak on selfies and it's $336 from AliExpress Realme 10 Pro + $380 slow processor, just ok cameras Xiaomi 12 Lite is $354 but weak camera and old processor Poco F4 GT is $366 but poor cameras Realme GT Neo 5/SE $384/$294 great specs, not sure on cameras yet Vivo V27/Pro can't be found anywhere and price unknown so really you can't find anything under $$300-$385 with modern specs on hardware that has a good camera system except maybe the Vivo but you can't get it in the US. So of that list what would the best value be if priority is price>camera>specs
Don't buy poco manufactured in india (motherboard issue was seen in poco x3, indian set) Go for global series, it's worth the price and performance is always the best for that price segment

I Have this one and only thing I am dissapointed is notification.. there is only that nice side shine that shine only once when something happen.. there is no light indicator or something else, or I didnt found it until today.. thats only thing I hate on Poco F5, all other things are really great for that price.

not better than 8 gen 1. Still 8 gen 1 has higher GPU frequency. Which means games will run better in 8 gen 1 than on 7+ gen 2

Poco phones as far as I know don't come with a proximity sensor. Xiaomi uses gyroscope and software to turn on and off your phone

Finally someone got it right! They are giving Poco bad reviews because they are using Poco from india. My Poco F5 works flawlessly. It's from China/global version

I Have this one and only thing I am dissapointed is notification.. there is only that nice side shine that shine only once when something happen.. there is no light indicator or something else, or I didnt found it until today.. thats only thing I hate on Poco F5, all other things are really great for that price.
