Dude! You completely understood the essence of the show. Flashbacks, flasforwards, flashsideways, all of that is just noise. The relevant part of the show remained in the people. And I agree, this finale was beautiful. They delivered a bittersweet final. Sadness in the island but a beautiful reunion in the elseworld.

This has been an amazing journey. I absolutely love this show and I cried many times so it was nice seeing you showing emotion as well. Looking forward to what comes next. A show you might like that brings the emotions but has a very different feel is The Good Place. Like Lost, it tells a complete story with a beginning, middle and end that wraps everything up. Also like Lost, it’s a show that you have to avoid spoilers at all cost.
Lost was the first series I ever watched when it first aired. It brings back so many wonderful memories. I remember crying my eyes out when Jin and Sun died and during the finale. It makes me mad that some people don't like the show because they misunderstood the ending, Christian literally said that everything that happened to them was real, but still you find people who say that they were dead the whole time... Michael Emerson did do Person of Interest after this, which is also an excellent, excellent show, and I would definitely recommend it. He also has a pretty big role in Evil, though I haven't watched that personally. He is also going to be in the Fallout series coming this year, which is exciting. So yeah, ever since LOST, he has almost constantly had a big, long time role in some show, which is nice.

Yeah, Mike is the best. he has a lot of great non-lost content on the channel already. His arrival reaction is my fav for what may be my favorite movie and his reactions to the 2010s planet of the apes movies are just as great for a series that is similarly underrated like lost imo.

The shots of the wreckage during the ending credits was from the original flight, some people at the time thought it was Lapidus plane crashing and not making it off the island.
I heard a lot of complaints from people saying that the wreckage wasn't from Lapidus' plane, but from the original crash and that everyone was dead the entire time. A lot of people must have chosen to go to the restroom at the same time, during Christian's speech where he told Jack that everything that happened happened. Plus they must have missed that in the background of the wreckage was the beach camp - so they couldn't have been dead the entire time.

Mr. Mike! This past August, I just finished watching this whole masterpiece for the 9th time since it aired! Bonus was that I got to watch it with my girlfriend for her first time, and she absolutely loved it just as you and I did! It was so fun seeing her reaction to all the twists and turns, the suspense, the love stories, the Others, and the emotional ending! I found your channel for the first time somewhere in the middle of you watching Season 2, so I unregrettably binged every episode you uploaded until then in 2 days, then I was along for the ride with each upload! It has been a long ride, but a fun one for sure! I cannot tell you how enjoyable it was watching your reactions to my favorite show of all time! The backstories, the different character arcs, the future jumps, it all makes Lost so much better than other shows in my opinion. I want to thank you for your time and effort, as well as your thoughts you gave after each episode! I'll probably go back and see your first reaction through all of this again soon! There is an amazing documentary on YT called "815 - The Story of the Lost Pilot" and there are 6 episodes to it, they are lengthy, but being a huge fan of Lost, it didn't bother me at all. It goes into detail about how Lost almost never came to be and all the speedbumps they ran into when making the pilot. Amazing stuff! P.P.S On IMDB, there is a documentary movie coming out for the 20th Anniversary this year called "Getting LOST". I don't know how good it's going to be, but figured I'd put that out for anyone interested when it does come out!
Make sure to watch the epilogue. Also, Rose and Bernard should be at the top of the couple's list. To my knowledge, it was the only relationship that survived from beginning to end. And they found peace with the island before anyone else.

Awesome reaction and awesome journey! Lost is my favorite show of all time. And its been great to see your reaction! I loved the ending, but I have to admit, not at first. It took some time to set in. Marinade. As good as it is on the first watch, I think Lost is even better on rewatch. When you know what is going to happen, you get a whole new perspective on the characters. You can enjoy things that happened in the early years that maybe you hated at first. I absolutely hated Sawyer early on; I mean I wanted him to die a thousand deaths. But by S5, I loved him. And in the finale, the moment I really broke, was the Sawyer and Juliet scene when they remembered. Not in a million years would I have thought that would happen in the early seasons. So one thing I would recommend is to do a rewatch. Not right away, but at some point. Its one of those shows that gets even better over time.

It was co-created by Damon Lindelof, the co-creater of Lost and co-author of The End and many iconic Lost episodes. It is, in many ways, even better than Lost, although Lost certainly occupies the largest room in my heart. So I strongly recommend The Leftovers to you. Many people didn't so good for you👏 The only two things I don't agree with are: 1 - I don't think Ji Yeon is in good hands because Sun's father, who is a terrible person, will be a part of her upbringing:( 2 - Jack is my favourite character hands down. How did I just barely make a connection: In season 2 when Mike is captured, the Others give him a list of names: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley. The final 4 candidates. What did the Others know???? Also, the other “two” candidates Sayid and Sun and Jin, are off somewhere on a boat together? Interesting foreshadowing
I've watched through Lost like 3 or 4 times, and I've watched like 3 or 4 watch-alongs. My top 5 changes almost every time, but #1 is always the same. 5. Hurley 4. Desmond 3. Jack 2. Locke 1. Charlie
A lot of people get caught in what was answered and what wasn't. But that's not the point of the show. It's about letting go and focusing on what actually matters. The characters and the people you love. This is a character driven show. And answers don't always have to be spoon fed.
Also I know it ain't an anime channel, but if you liked LOST, all these connections, epic lines, characters' development, there's one thing you would enjoy like crazy and I believe that this thing and LOST both can be one of the greatest things you'll EVER watch in your entire life, so I want to strongly recommend you NARUTO ❤. I believe this is going to break your heart and change the way you think right now 😊. I know it's kinda impossible for you to react to this just from my suggestion, but I have your channel subscribed in any case lol 🎉

Bonus was that I got to watch it with my girlfriend for her first time, and she absolutely loved it just as you and I did! It was so fun seeing her reaction to all the twists and turns, the suspense, the love stories, the Others, and the emotional ending! I found your channel for the first time somewhere in the middle of you watching Season 2, so I unregrettably binged every episode you uploaded until then in 2 days, then I was along for the ride with each upload! It has been a long ride, but a fun one for sure! I cannot tell you how enjoyable it was watching your reactions to my favorite show of all time! The backstories, the different character arcs, the future jumps, it all makes Lost so much better than other shows in my opinion.

P.S. There is an amazing documentary on YT called "815 - The Story of the Lost Pilot" and there are 6 episodes to it, they are lengthy, but being a huge fan of Lost, it didn't bother me at all. It goes into detail about how Lost almost never came to be and all the speedbumps they ran into when making the pilot. Amazing stuff!
P.P.S On IMDB, there is a documentary movie coming out for the 20th Anniversary this year called "Getting LOST". I don't know how good it's going to be, but figured I'd put that out for anyone interested when it does come out!

Awesome reaction and awesome journey! Lost is my favorite show of all time. And its been great to see your reaction! I loved the ending, but I have to admit, not at first. It took some time to set in. Marinade.
As good as it is on the first watch, I think Lost is even better on rewatch. When you know what is going to happen, you get a whole new perspective on the characters. You can enjoy things that happened in the early years that maybe you hated at first. I absolutely hated Sawyer early on; I mean I wanted him to die a thousand deaths. But by S5, I loved him. And in the finale, the moment I really broke, was the Sawyer and Juliet scene when they remembered. Not in a million years would I have thought that would happen in the early seasons.
So one thing I would recommend is to do a rewatch. Not right away, but at some point. Its one of those shows that gets even better over time.

Closest thing to Lost I've ever watched after it ended was The Leftovers. It was co-created by Damon Lindelof, the co-creater of Lost and co-author of The End and many iconic Lost episodes. It is, in many ways, even better than Lost, although Lost certainly occupies the largest room in my heart. So I strongly recommend The Leftovers to you. It would be a pleasure seeing you react to it some day. Plus, it's very short!

this finale had gotten the most tears from me until last month when Attack on Titan surpassed it. Lost as a whole is still one of my favorite series of all time after Attack on titan, Dark, and FMAB. thanks for sharing this journey with us.

How did I just barely make a connection:
In season 2 when Mike is captured, the Others give him a list of names: Jack, Kate, Sawyer, and Hurley. The final 4 candidates. What did the Others know????
Also, the other “two” candidates Sayid and Sun and Jin, are off somewhere on a boat together? Interesting foreshadowing

A lot of people get caught in what was answered and what wasn't. But that's not the point of the show. It's about letting go and focusing on what actually matters. The characters and the people you love. This is a character driven show. And answers don't always have to be spoon fed.
If you haven’t seen it already, a great reaction for you would be The Lord of the Rings. A lot of the same feels as in Lost.
And I forgot to mention, that “Charlie” plays one of the main characters in the movie series…
