Respect to this crew, it really isn’t easy to get hotshot certified. I hear all around my area crews are still trying and have been for the past 5-6 years now. Gotta have the whole crew evaluated not just individual men it’s similar to working in a marine/army squad where you have to trust your crew or with your life and vice versa, when battling these fires head on like these guys are on the level that these fires reach if one individual or division isn’t doing there part it can result in loss of homes, possibly towns and in cases like this multiple casualties, I think the air tankers are at fault as every other word was heard by them except when they were supposed to drop that water which could’ve ended up saving them.

This one definitely going down as one of the best of the 2010's regardless of how unknown it is

The scene of Christian bale talking to the soldier who is facing a hanging and yet thev've done the same things? It is an age old question . .Christian bale followed his orders when he was asked to .the difference was the other soldier went out on his own and butchered some people of his own will. and that's what made it illegal. Yes it will never make total sense but that's the rules that society has decided on😢

I believe the doctor planned for someone to defeat them but he didn't know who it would be or even expect that person to be able to tune without him injecting his special concoction into their brain.

It's crazy, I'm trying to keep myself from drawing parallels, but think of what is going on right now. A very powerful man just got insanely more powerful and now he is threatening other nations with economic force and even war! and here we are, millions of people cheering for him. I saw this movie when I was about 9 years old in Nicaragua. It messed me up for a long time. I hate war

It's gets really good, and yes it is based on a novel and based on a true case of Pedro Rodriguez a serial killer who only killed bad guys he murdered a over a hundred people.

This is a great show, right up there with breaking bad and Ozark

Yeah Kevin Spacey's character didn't expect to get shot by Dudley Smith (after letting it slip that no one knew he went to Smith's house) but he got it together enough to say the words he knew would ultimately bring Smith down shown by him chuckling at Smith after saying them. And he was right, Smith did go fishing to Exley and Exley picked it up right away. Guy Pierce did a great job showing his character's realization that Smith killed Spacey's character. Pierce went to attend a lecture by James Ellroy in Australia after being hired to play Exley and LA Confidential being in preproduction. Ellroy was like you'll never believe it but two Aussie actors were hired to play the leads and no one believed it. PIerce was mortified at the time but it all ended well with the movie though technically neither he nor Russell Crowe were native born Aussies. Pierce was British and Crowe was a New Zealander. Jimmy Cromwell was hired in large part b/c he was best known for playing the farmer in Babe b/c they wanted someone who could come off as honest and good and turn out to be a corrupt murderer. Cromwell is very nice by the way. Lucky enough to get to meet him and talk with him a bit including about LA Confidential.

It was Widmore, not Jacob. The driver was meant to hit Sayid, just like Widmore sent assassins after everyone else, that Sayid killed. Jacob just stopped Sayid, causing Nadia to get hut by the car meant for Sayid. If Jacob didn't stop Sayid, Nadia would have been farther across and Sayid would be where she was.
