I would of took the intake carb and valve covers off and sold it on market place because someone would buy it and clean it up and use it. I know I would that intake better then using a cast iron intake that's for sure

People will complain about some older car getting crushed here. Meanwhile I've seen an known people who will send a car to the crusher just because of the type it is, even if it's in good condition. They say they like to see people squirm. I knew a guy who hated Dodge, why? just because. He had a near mint Volarie with a white leather interior and factory sunroof, some special model, almost no rust. He blew it up, just because it was a Dodge. It's those people that any anger needs to be directed to. G and Cowboy are just doing what they have to do to get paid.

Yup, 1971, with the VIN for the win: W for Coronet, H for High price class, 41 for four door sedan, G for 318 V8 with two barrel, 1 for 1971 model year, G for Fenton (St. Louis) MO assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Fenton plant closed around 2009 and was knocked down a few years later. It used to produce minivans alongside Windsor, Ontario Canada (which still does today).
No tag, can't brag (I get it, it's not there), but possible code K6 Dark Bronze exterior paint. GMAC made it flat and that's that.......

Sorry I have not been in touch for a while. I have no idea where time goes. Agree with so many comments: what a classic, elegant car. but its time had come, sadly. Where was I in 1971? I was a student at university in Glasgow. It was the year I passed my driving test. It was the year I went solo driving a car for the first time. I did not have a car. I drove my mother's when she allowed me. I would offer to go a message and take a five-mile detour (and the rest)! The car was manual transmission (stick shift). I loved these early days of driving. On the other side of the Atlantic when I was a novice, the Coronet was shiny and new and loved by its first owner. Less than a month ago I celebrated a birthday 'three score years and ten'. I feel no different today than when I drove Mum's Hilman Imp about. I know it will be the same for you. I hope everything is working out for you My Friend. Please keep giving pleasure with your videos and wise insight in your personal comments.... All the very best to you Sir. PS dare I ask, do you do special requests🙂🙃🚜🚙 Nearest emojis I could find - My car is blue🤣🤣

Yeah I think you done a good call on that g I mean I would have pulled the motor and trans out of it but that was a four-door car so it wasn't really worth much of anything honestly people can get on here and whine and cry and all that but the people that would whine and cry they wouldn't even pay you for what it's worth in scrap and since it's a four-door that's old grandma car with no value and pretty much what was in value is what you pulled out but if that was a two-door car it would be a different story but if it was a two-door car most likely it wouldn't have been there anyway
