Dude that’s stunning! What was the top wood you used? Berch? I love the was the arm cut out goes into the top layer, very pretty. What oil did you use to finish? It really brought the colours of the wood out. 👍👍👍
Thanks! Kind words! Yeahh the top wood is birch, and the finish is a few coats of pure tung oil thinned 50% with mineral spirits.,then buffed with Tripoli and wax.
That spalting makes for a very nice looking guitar!

The person who has this body ended up actually getting a wood pick guard, a spalted maple one that actually is a pretty close match to the body.
