I like Cyn Doll. I would like to explain this to her, but I'm afraid it won't be received as assistance since you two have beef. In her first drawing she connects hydrogen to hydrogen to hair strands and calls it a hydrogen bond. Hydrogen to hydrogen (H2) is simply two hydrogen atoms, not a hydrogen bond. Hydrogen bonds are intermolecular bonds (inter meaning "between" molecules), so it wouldn't be a bunch of hydrogens just floating around. Now, if she was just using the H as a placeholder for "bonds" then the drawing is still incorrect because it's not holding strands of hair together like an actual bond. Each strand is filled with various chemical bonds (including hydrogen bonds) . When you add water to your hair (for example) the pre-existing hydrogen bonds will form new bonds and make it easier to temporarily change the shape of the strand (like going from straight to curly). I am not a cosmetologist, but I am a gifted and talent & general science teacher & I have my degree in electrical engineering.
Another example: the hydrogen bonds in our hair and the water molecules in the air around us (humidity) interact with each other and cause shrinkage and/or frizzy foolishness.

Thank you for this video. Her arrogance is irri af and she did not detangle the hair properly, even before the shampoo. Just because someone pulls out a whiteboard and sounds educated does not mean they know anything. I used to watch her videos but after so many videos with misinformation (most particularly the detangling the hair dry with oil which only makes a mess and will cause more product buildup 😒), I was done with the arrogancy and false way she presents information. Thanks for finally calling her out.
@@rachelk4914 my daughters natural hair is 4c waist length....it was butt length (but it was getting to be too much for me....lol) and i always detangle with some kind of liquid/ cream. Brittney Nonya exactly!!! How do we know all this and some hair stylists don’t? I have had many a stylist try to rake through my hair dry or rip my hair out. I also detangle my daughter’s hair with water and conditioner and twist it up especially before I wash it.

With matted hair, I have learned to use olive on on that section and very carefully detangle with fingers. Also use a spray bottle with aloe vera juice and a water mix. This is a very long process at times but worth it to save you from completely cutting off that part of your hair. I hope this encourages someone. God bless everyone:)
You are right to use olive oil. My hair naturally dreadlocks after a few days and when it’s too dry. I saturate my hair in warmed microwaved olive oil, and work into extra Matted parts prior to pulling apart, and put on a conditioning cap overnight. The next day I’m any oily mess but my hair untangles with the ease of the end of a rattail comb. I learned this is the best way to get hair bonding glue out as well
Wow please cut ur ends n when u wash ur hair make a poo wit a good conditioner n shampoo. My hair locks together wit clarifying shampoos easy so I've less tangles n breakage wit washin every other time I was n makin a poo n deep conditioning other times n the most important thing really is saturating ur hair wit water in the shower n finger tangling with conditioner wit a thick oil. U have to do what works for ur hair but I went from having hair that would dred on wash day after combing it out to barely usin a comb n gettin very little sheddin. Dont kno if ur hair is natural but I notice depending on how tight ur curls or coils are u knot ur hair tryin to comb it n pull on it to style it but if u have a cool n keep pulling from root to tip wit ur fingertips u can literally melt the knot that forms. It's such a process learning ur natural hair n how products work for ur hair but aloe vera plants are everything for slip but get cheesecloth to strain the pulp cause thick hair seems to hold it n it flakes.
Glad you did a video, I listen to her and now I have to start over. My hair was APL and I had to cut it to shoulder leaght. I not a super long time nature so I know no better. I going back to detangling my hair with some slip and a little water are oil. My hair was grown and not breaking when I was doing that. It best to do what works for your hair.
I just clicked on the comments section of this video you're discussing and must agree that the majority of the comments with a difference of opinion on how to detangle hair gently and effectively have been deleted.... Except the ones made in the last 24 hours. A difference in opinion can always lead to a new way to do things. Thanks AfrikanHairGod...I mean Mr. Wild Afrika for your insights.
I love coming back and watching this. As a qualified science teacher, the science she is spewing is absolutely false. Like physical changes in your hair can be reversed mainly because of the properties protein in general has. Hydrogen bonding is a temporary bonding caused by the movement of electrons and the difference of protons in the hydrogen compared to other atoms. Like she really drew hydrogen gas structure which is actually formed by a chemical covalent bond which is completely different. There is a reason why hydrogen bonding can be separated and then form back. There is even hydrogen bonding in DNA which allows it to separate when DNA replication is needed and then form again. People don’t be scared of the hydrogen bonds seperating. Also by her logic you can bread these hydrogen gas atoms. You can’t break covalent bonds like in Hydrogen gas (which is completely different) unless you have a chemical reaction. Also, the adding of moisture while combing helps reduce friction between the hair and your fingers or comb. Til this day she is still out here talking about the damn hydrogen bonds.
I am glad you did do a live reaction to her video because it’s kinda like scary that she’s giving off all this wrong information and best believe her followers or the people who are subscribed to her will think it’s all truth. So thank you & I always appreciate you!!😘
After watching her video I tried to use a round brush to blow dry my hair when it was natural. It wasn’t even matted but I noticed over time my hair turned into a broom stick and i was not able to save it. It was at that point that I stopped listening to you tubers and did my hair the way I wanted. I’ve detangled matted children’s hair a thousand times since then and blow drying through extremely matted hair isn’t going to do anything but cause breakage and damage over time.
Super aggressive! Like she's lecturing you and yelling at you like you did or said something wrong lol. Like, can you talk to me without that aggressive angry attitude? Clearly, she's upset going into this video. It's hard to watch even on his channel.
I wondered that too when I saw one of her older videos....everyone is entitled to their opinion but it's like she's gonna ram the information down your throat 😅...
Thank you Henny and AfrikanHairGod. Thanks for the education and I look up the information that is presented to double check. Always learning something new at the age of 48 - research, research, research.
Narada, this is why I thank the universe that you started making hair videos again! Please don’t leave us again. As for Cyndoll, the more she talks, the more misinformed she sounds. Drawing all these squiggly lines and calling them chains. Talk about a chain of fools. I’m thinking of starting a fund to buy her a copy of The Science of Black Hair.
It’s a lot of things wrong with what she doing and saying. I LOVE the science of hair and use it often with my clients. I’ve had clients that had tangled and matted hair after braids and it never took 2 days to complete the style. Her explanation of shedding and matting hair doesn’t excuse the fact that she didn’t properly detangle her hair. The polypeptide chain is NOT effected by the hair being in braids. None of this makes sense.
And if its matted, why would you blindly comb her head!!...no matter how fast or slow the video was, you dont detangle matted hair the way she did it..
I’m not a cosmetologist but if the hair was matted and tangled when she came in and then it was washed and still matted then blow dried again, is the hair clean ?
OMG I was cringing the entire time she was speaking. She really just made some stuff up and tried to say it with conviction like nobody would know she was clueless. 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭 As a stylist who doesn’t remember everything from school, all I know is SHE LYING! 😂
Hey Narada, I think she took this salty clapback video down cuz I couldn't find it, last night. I really persume that she can't take constructive criticism very well. After hearing you read all of the discernful comments; within this stream, I now realize that maybe she took it down due to that reason. I was subscribed to her channel for like 1 second and then I dipped because she had some other video talking about "how we are all gods"? I'm like...really? She started talking all off and crap. She just seemed very narcissists in her ways. Over all...I don't really understand her view points, but she got alot of shade on her other past video where she was trying to explain how rice water rinses contain arsenic or something? It was just how she was explaining her logic and it was just coming off as alittle over exaggerated opinions rather than rational facts. Anyhow, I like the name "Crybabydoll" for her it's cute. She reminds me of a doll. But seriously I learned more from your video about "hydrogen bonds" and "how they work" alot more than from her concept. She's great at doing relaxed hair and silk presses, but natural hair is clearly not her thing. Thanks for sharing this commentary Wild Afrikan! 😊😂😂😂😂😀
She didn't.......youtube just recommended it to me before I even saw this video. I was a video from 3 weeks ago. Not sure of the name. I just read a hairdresser reacts videos
I cant take it..she just confused me....this is one of these things where you stop listening to people because it sounds like a bunch of BS....maybe she missed school on these days when they were going over this..smh
Her concept , as crazy as it is, is NOT intended for women of color. She must have went to a cosmetology school that only catered to straight/ wavy hair, and her blowdrying technique is a dead give away. She should reeducate herself on how to care for afro texture hair because the science is completely different.
Dollieglitz yes! I can’t take watching her round brush Afro textured hair, I’ve seen many stylist round brush and normally the hair can benefit from this technique as it straightens the hair from the heat of the blow dryer, i think it is supposed to speed up styling, but when I see her round brush kinky hair the hair looks dry and damaged and still requires additional high heat from a flat iron..... she need to go ahead and admit that she only was round brushing to look cool and different when actually her clients hair always looked damaged, the she gotta go and trim 2 or 3 inches off
@@leoskiss3390 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾I 1000% agree. If she wants to have kinky women as her clientele then she has to learn better techniques to handle textured hair. Its stylist like her that like to "Correct" the damage they create by doing cuts and heat styles. I laugh whenever she has a client come back a year later with head full of hair because she tends to go on about how that thickness is the result of her blunt cuts rather than genetics and the tlc the clients do to their hair. I would never allow her to touch my delicate tresses, i would come out that chair with majority of my hair on the floor.
👋🏾AHG, as a new subbie, I’m still binging your older videos. And finding this one and now knowing exactly where that “voice button” comes through on your current videos, “the bonds only hear the command BREAK” 🤣🤣🤣, I’m ⚰️⚰️⚰️.

Like I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but people’s hair is gonna break off and be in the sink listening to her advice. To be completely honest, I have never heard of a good stylist that recommends using kitchen concoctions all in the hair and scalp. She’s trying to use her own hair growth as proof them oils work, but that’s anecdotal evidence. Hair is gonna grow on it’s own if you’re alive-period. All in all, peoples hair bouta be in the sink, and I ain’t bouta witness that lol
TheLashay Way yes like she is the only person who knows anything. 😒
Clearly I'm having mild watch party withdrawal because I found my way back to this video tonight. After nearly 2 years it still has me ROTFLMAO
"She drew on her serious eyebrows".. Love this video.. 😂😂😂
😂😂
You are not right, definitely, not right.
I'm a biologist... wtf is she talking about?! lmaooo
Hey fellow Biologist....I was cringing
Well, in 2024 she now touts herself as a scientist. Perhaps she has gone back to school. Or is she too educated by RUclips university😂.
Ohhh she is crazy
@@queennzinga5988not only crazy, but rude about anyone who challenges her. She’s got a real attitude problem.
I somewhat take offense that she gets upset that someone asks to see her certifications/degrees. I think if I am going to pay 4K for a consultation I have a right to ask. I must say that I actually look up the licenses of my healthcare providers, just because people are extremely shady. I really would like to know what kind of scientist she is and where she went to school. I am not being flippant or feel that I am asking for much.
Whenever I got my hair braided as a child I didn't have matting. Shed hair, yes of course, but braids doesn't mean your hair is automatically going to be matted afterwards. My hair was always super soft when I took my braids out.🤷🏾♀️ I'm still trying to figure out why it took her so long if the shed hair just fell off with the heat...👀
This was chilling. It's all fun and games until you realize she is licensed to put caustic chemicals and 300+ degree pieces of iron to your head.
That's the same thing I was thinking. The inaccuracies she's spewing are disturbing.
☠️😂😂💀🤣🤣
To someone not in the KNOW, she sounds convincing.
@@Smithl325749exactly 🎯🎯🎯 she’s convincing I’ll give her that she likes to through our she’s licensed but to my knowledge she never says what her degrees are in exactly, I could br wrong I watched one of her videos the other day(strictly for entertainment purposes I know better 😂) and she said I don’t like to say what my degrees are in.
She trying her hardest to sound SMART. poor thang.
I’m dead lofl
Simply Outspoken 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 her bothered heart!
That’s how she is in all of her videos. Glad I’m not the only one that notices that.🤦🏾♀️
So glad to see others are seeing this too. I didn't know she was like this. Soooo annoying. Talking like a scientist, most people don't know that so why are you talking like that? You lose your audience.
She's still ranting loud even now. Smh.
She used the word hydrogen bonds a million times to sound smart lol
"If I begin to comb on the hair, I'm giving order. *SNAPS*"
When she said that all the hydrogen bonds were on the floor and she now had a clean slate to work with, I was like "Of course, cause you broke all the hair off!" She was a hot mess. Thanks for doing the live.
I recently started watching her and some videos were convincing. So glad I came across this one! I didn’t see the original she’s talking about but this makes is crystal clear she don’t know wtf she talking bout.
I've never seen anyone blow dry matted hair!!!..
OldSkool Aqua thank you. Why would you take any tool to matted hair. Finger detangle and take your time.
I’m in no way a Cosmetologist or a student of science. If I had watched this video without your commentary, I’d still have my wtf face on.
She is responding like crazy. She is preeessseed!
But what does that bull have to do with ripping that baby hair
Rena Slay that’s what I’m sayin!
j borrego but the matted haír is connected to haír that is connected to the scalp....
Her foolish pride is digging her grave. She should have just fell back and took the L . HENNY is hilarious. Love you guys. Stay blessed.
It was a lil condescending
Right. She could have learned, and then come back with a video showing what she learned she would have saved all kinds of clientele and probably grew her clientele but instead....
I'm 17 and studying A-Level Chemistry (the British version of AP) and I KNEW that hydrogen bonds Don't work like that 😂
I'm no pro.. but ummmm.. she tried it!! She yanked demons outta that baby soul!!!🤣🤣🤣❣
Lol yep she was rebuking them tangle demons

That drivers license comment called me tf out 😂😂😂😂
I just want to say that I am ready to order the "Mr. Wild Africa" t-shirt 😂😂😂. I understand what it's like to bask in the land of facts. She just wanted to do this to hear herself talk, there was zero logic. Thank you for what you do!
Mr. Wild AfriQUH for emphasis
I am glad you made this video. she had me questioning everything I was doing. Thank you.
I just wash my hair today and detangling my hair with deep conditioner in four sections. It only took me over 20 mins I think. My hair very thick kinky coily natural hair.
"Capitalizing off of ignorance"....that's deep af
Sis is telling us between Alpha and Beta keratin theres a black hole that allows the RIPation of that little girls strands to become null and void. 😂
Girl I would side eye her too when she talk about detangling with oil because child my hair would laugh at that oil. Lol
@Simply Outspoken exactly!
Yes I saw a minute of her detangling with oil video and quickly turned it off😂😂
@@rachelk4914 my daughters natural hair is 4c waist length....it was butt length (but it was getting to be too much for me....lol) and i always detangle with some kind of liquid/ cream. You dont rake through natural hair like that! The key is keeping the hair stretched.....that's it. She is in twists most of the time. My youngest daughter will be in the same boat....long 4a/b textured hair. I'm not a cosmetologist, but I study. You dont need to have a degree to know hair, especially when you take the time to study it.
Brittney Nonya exactly!!! How do we know all this and some hair stylists don’t? I have had many a stylist try to rake through my hair dry or rip my hair out. I also detangle my daughter’s hair with water and conditioner and twist it up especially before I wash it.
If she has to keep making videos to try and justify what she did, that means she knows damn well "SHE DONE FUCKED UP THE THANG!" *Funky Dineva voice*
Oooo....I had to watch this video a second tie. I am graduating this spring with a B.S. in cell molec biology and this was some bullll sH!t lol!!! And people listen and believe this?! This is basic middle school chemistry at this point!
Deeper than hair is the best and will NEVER BE ON THIS Channel and I love this channel 🥰👍💗
25:19 chemistry is difficult. she needs to stay in her lane
She has told people not to use blue magic because it is unhealthy so then I asked her wyd when ur sculp is dry so she never answered me?
Honestly, “Mr Wild Africa” and a cool natural hair logo of you, would look really good on a t-shirt!🤔🤔
T shirts coming soon 😘
@@AfrikanHairGod I'd be willing to purchase that......make your money black man!
I read Jayla Anderson's post to her and she basically explained, using her background and knowledge in biology, the same thing you stated about how the hair had to have come out by force. Jayla, really educated her, If she was able to comprehend her explanation and examples of what hydrogen bonds truly are. She was so humble about it as well; as if she was asking a question and was actually teaching her a lil something. &&&& You were right, Nervada!
Your hair hears the command…*BREAK!*
"Shes lost in the floating hydrogen bonds i feel sad for her.." 😂🤣😂🤣

This is like watching someone who got a 1.2 gpa in high school explain Einstein’s Theory of Relativity 😂 It ain’t making sense sis. Do you understand how small molecules are? She is so confident too. I know someone exactly like this and it is difficult to reason with ignorance when it believes it is intelligent 😅
I'm crying inside because I missed this live! It's hilarious that you paused at every single place I paused at. And every time I paused I made a paragraph, lol! ❤
I actually read your novel in her comment section. It was shade without being shady. 🤭🤭 Something I would do; ask questions to make someone really think about what they're actually saying because it doesn't make sense. 🤷🏾♀️
@@pinkchocolate305 Thank you! I try not to be mean on the internet because, you know it's forever and everything and anything can be traced back to you. I'm glad I did it that way, bc she seemed to delete any comment she deemed negative, anyway.
I used to enjoy her videos, but I Unsubscribed a while back because I noticed her clients all needed a big trim after her blow dries because of that harsh round brush she uses. She swears by that brush, but I hated seeing the hair ripped with it....and she would always put out videos going off about something. Her makeup videos were a nope as well. Let her live and don't make a habit of sparring with her. Karma is real outchea
Agreeeeee 100000000%

My hydrogen bonds are dead on the floor rolling around laughing their asses off. 🤣😂😅🤣😂😁😆
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂I choked
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Glad you did a video, I listen to her and now I have to start over. My hair was APL and I had to cut it to shoulder leaght. I not a super long time nature so I know no better. I going back to detangling my hair with some slip and a little water are oil. My hair was grown and not breaking when I was doing that. It best to do what works for your hair.
She sounds so angry trying to teach this "lesson"
i thought you were bad... but henny is ruthless!!!!!!! obsessed with these lives!!!!
I think she did go to cosmology school lol. Not cosmetology school.
😭😭😭
😆😆😆
😂
Dead af 💀
Umm... who commands their hair to break?!?
"She's a horrible artist." Sir this sent me 😂😂😭😭😭
I am glad you did do a live reaction to her video because it’s kinda like scary that she’s giving off all this wrong information and best believe her followers or the people who are subscribed to her will think it’s all truth. So thank you & I always appreciate you!!😘
Come on, people this video has 8.9K views and only 600 something likes. Support the man and his hard work!!!!
I love how you break everything down the right way because she's all over the damn place
Narada, these stylists be wilding out here IRL.....I know why naturals don't trust 'em.
What do you recommend for matted natural hair? Thank you
But why does she sound so aggressive in the video that’s supposed to be an explanation. Seems more like a reaction to everyone’s reaction.😯
Jaesha yes Aggressive with a capital A
Super aggressive! Like she's lecturing you and yelling at you like you did or said something wrong lol. Like, can you talk to me without that aggressive angry attitude? Clearly, she's upset going into this video. It's hard to watch even on his channel.
It discredits her even more because she’s speaking from a place of emotion not facts/objective view lol
I wondered that too when I saw one of her older videos....everyone is entitled to their opinion but it's like she's gonna ram the information down your throat 😅...
At this point I feel that these people are actors and bad actors at that. This CANNOT be real!!!
it seems like, according to her, hair is often in this "doin whatever" stage - why doesn't that have an official scientific term? oh that's right...
Her work really is mediocre. I’ve always thought so.
Stop thanking the universe and start thanking GOD 🤦🏽♀️
@Laoriginal718 stop telling people what to believe in
It’s a lot of things wrong with what she doing and saying.
THIS IS WHERE THE ICONIC SOUND BOARD SOUND CAME FROM ABSHDHSJAKA everytime i hear that damn “break!” i die laughing lmaoo
i just cannot get past this hoodie that she cut up and threw on top of a tank top 🤣🤣 like sis..
I watched one video of hers years ago and I quickly realized she’s full of it and gives out so much misinformation- for free!
Not free anymore. She charging people $100 to do her 7 day hair challenge
I’m not a cosmetologist but if the hair was matted and tangled when she came in and then it was washed and still matted then blow dried again, is the hair clean ?
She is literally replying still to our comments which I don't feel like its harrassment. Its just facts.
This is the FUNNIEST thing I've seen in a very long time. I really needed this.
LOLLLL! She out here speaking life into hydrogen bonds?! I needed this good cackle lol
OMG I was cringing the entire time she was speaking. She really just made some stuff up and tried to say it with conviction like nobody would know she was clueless. 😂😂😂😂😭😭😭 As a stylist who doesn’t remember everything from school, all I know is SHE LYING! 😂
Hey Narada,
I think she took this salty clapback video down cuz I couldn't find it, last night.
@33:27 “& when I picked up that blow dryer..”
She meant that thang 💀🤣🤣😂
I cant take it..she just confused me....this is one of these things where you stop listening to people because it sounds like a bunch of BS....maybe she missed school on these days when they were going over this..smh
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
SHE SAID THE HYDROGEN BOND IS FLOATIN AROUND. LMAO OMGGGG. I havent been in chemistey class in about 16 years but that is not how proteins work!
👋🏾AHG, as a new subbie, I’m still binging your older videos. And finding this one and now knowing exactly where that “voice button” comes through on your current videos, “the bonds only hear the command BREAK” 🤣🤣🤣, I’m ⚰️⚰️⚰️.
Yes she established the tone for all the subsequent watch parties. Cyndoll is our running inside joke here
“She is lost....somewhere in those floating hydrogen bonds...”. I love the shade...😹😹😎
I'm surprised she didn't say HYDROGEN BOMBS😂😂
I almost choked when she said your not supposed to detangle hair while wet!!! What?
Why is she explaining the hydrogen bond as if it’s some type of free floating agent?😑Bless her heart. The longer she spoke, the worse it got, especially with the visual. You did a great job clarifying what she “tried” to explain.
