Hey Tasos, I feel you’re only person that might steer me in the right direction, mym157 keep on getting P0299(turbo underboost pressure) ive replaced vacuum pump, with this check valve) tested both wastegate actuators for oil and seal , both are good, replaced turbo vacuum solenoid, replaced vacuum lines then tested them with vacuum and no leaks, replaced both airbox map sensors, as well as map under ecu. And im still getting P0299, car drives strong until check engine light comes on and then looses power probably going into limp mode, immediately after clearing the code it gets its power back, my obd scanner is pretty limited and could not get boost values as searched on the internet, when i go to live data it shows that current on both o2 sensors is in negative, however voltages are within range, it also shows my evap being way out of range negative pressure, ive tested evap solenoid and its not stuck close/open, im trying to eliminate all conditions before removing and checking wastegate flap and turbos, are You aware of any other conditions that will pop p0299 code? Btw ive checked all turbo intake hoses for cracks and all connection points are tight, i dont think its leaking pressure anywhere, ive tried finding somebody in san diego area for smoke/pressure test but with no luck. I said to myself that ill try You as my last resort before going to dealership mostly for sentry scanning. Anyways im just checking if You happen to know any other sensors/conditions that will be giving me P0299 that i could replace fix before spending big bucks on removing the engine and checking turbos/wastegate? My common sense tells me that if my wastegate flap was not sealing properly then i would never be getting decent boost however i do when code P0299 is cleared. Please guide me in the right direction! Im so tired of chasing this issue.
Hi I was wondering if you can help me I have 2012 S 63 obviously 157 motor it has a ticking sometimes it sounds like main bearings or piston slap but it’s not there all the time it comes in and out it drives me crazy I could never duplicated but when it’s there is there

Had 5 of these already. Ecoboost ones keep disintegrating... get volvo instead.
if the oil gets into wastegate actutator do i need to clean it or no my turbo banks moves normal so i dont know

Pretty bad that the check valve is not a replaceable part.
It is replaceable, there is a company called klifex that makes them, they have a repair kit.
