I have ADHD and my teacher used to get so mad at me for fidgeting and moving around in my seat.

My 6 year old little girl has been physically assaulted, sexually assaulted, emotionally abused and bullied by the two ADHD kids in her class. Her learning is totally disrupted on a daily basis. There is NO PLACE for these 'special kids' in s mainstream classroom. Their disruptive and violent behaviour is rewarded by the teachers and their punishment is them just being sent to s lovely sensory room to chill... Seriously!!!!!

Maria Griffin There's a special place with special trained teachers and lots of other special kids like themselves somewhere.... Certainly not in mainstream. I'm not rude... Just realistic!.

Maria Griffin Are you continuously disruptive and aggressive at all???

Maria Griffin So in your own words you have a very short attention span and you admit to being disruptive... and this is all less so because you have matured and are no longer of primary school age... So may I now ask how your behaviour was back then if you can remember honestly and how that compares? And are you less attention seeking as in younger years... How should an average ADHD kid be punished for bad behaviour like continually hitting others?

ADHD is not bad. Yes students with ADHD get distracted more than students without. The reason why I know about ADHD is because I have it. I have a hard time in school and get distracted easily bit my medicine is helping me a little bit with not getting distracted. I also have Autism. Both things have helped me through school. I am on the high functioning end of the autism spectrum.
