    Have you ever shared something you shouldn't have in an online meeting?

    Great video! It touches upon almost all of the things I want to teach people who are not mastering this. The only things I missed was:
    1. A more thorough explanation about how the different ways to share impacts your ability to monitor the participant reactions and raised hands (you touched upon it but you did not show it clearly)
    2. How bad it is to show the Teams window when you are sharing your screen, forcing everyone to watch their own face in large format
    3. How much easier it is to co-present with Teams live, letting you skip the not-so-professional "next slide please".

      Very good points! You have to prioritize so that the video doesn't become too long 😉 I really hate when 2. happens, everyone gets the instant icks haha. For number 3 I am planning on releasing a video about that very soon since I think it's a topic that is so important it requires it's separate video 👍

    I've never used Microsoft Teams, but now I know what to do if I ever use it!

    I never realized that participants could skip through a shared presentation. I'll definitely use private view from now on!

      Yes I know!? It's a wierd feature to be set as on per default

    Does this live presentation view display animations?

    • @emelielindstroem
      @emelielindstroem  Год назад

      Yes! The powerpoint live view shows animations much smoother than any other way of sharing a Powerpoint in a Teams meeting :D

    And then for embedded videos it's very often a complete mess. Whether they can't see the video playing, not having the sound... And the recording doesn't capture the video.
    I don't know why Microsoft takes SO MUCH TIME fixing this. There are plenty of posts talking about video issues using PPT Live.

      Yeah, video and sound is always a major problem when sharing powerpoints!
