    Ugh, why are halogen headlights still standard on a Mercedes-Benz?

      +Tyler J. Taylor it's really embarrassing, because even toyota corolla base version has LED headlights STANDARD

      @@janina898 It's still overall a miles better car than anything Toyota has ever put on the road. Even when Mercedes drops the ball, like they clearly did here, they're still the best overall package in a car on the planet. Sure, I'd rather have a Bentley or an Aston Martin than a Mercedes, but then we're talking about at least doubling the cost. At this price point, there isn't a better car out there. I have driven plenty of Hondas, Toyotas and Hyundais, and my mom's GLC300 beats all of them, particularly for safety features, which is why I bought one with extended warranty and pre-paid servicing for my mom. Only the best for mom, right? She was driving a newer CRV, which was hardly a "bad" car - far from it - before and there is simply zero comparison. The Mercedes GLC300 is just miles better in every possible way. Would I prefer LEDs to be standard in this? Clearly. But for everything else you get, it's the best option in its class and worth every penny. And Mercedes really looks after her if there's any issue at all. She forgot to push the brake pedal down on start up and was freaking out, but they took care of her and that's exactly what I paid for. I was really sick with c. diff at the time, so I'm really glad they came through when they did. They treat you like a king.

      @@christhornycroft3686 wow 6 year later reply :-) ok... still today toyota has standard LED headlights (safety) and also standard collision warning, lane departure warning etc. All these things are upgrade on 2021 MB... i personally drive X3 m40i, don't drive toyota, but that Rav4 will be on the road 15 years, while the car i have today will be at the scrapyard as unfixable... If you lease luxury brands, you're ok, if you plan to buy 'gently' used, don't do it, they are money pits.

    why doesn't an expensive car like this have PUSH BUTTON START???!!

    • @lacross81
      @lacross81 8 лет назад +1

      it does, the button can be taken out of the key slot and its removed for security.

    • @kyrees.williams3442
      @kyrees.williams3442 7 лет назад

      Actually, it probably doesn't. Keyless GO is optional.
      It's true that the cars with Keyless GO still have this same slot; it's just behind the start button. You would remove the button, revealing the slot in which to stick the key, just like Cameron does here. But the dealership wouldn't have removed the button. If this car had had the smart key, the button would have been in place.

    Thanks for the review. I have a question that in Vehicle -> Dynamic select, some GLC will directly go into individual setting instead of giving the engine or vehicle data. May I ask how and why? Thanks

    Same reason fake leather( ie vinyl ) seats are still standard ! That Center console just looks so cheap and plasticky ( which it is) ..MB screens are so small too ... Just a very ordinary car

      donkeydicked fake leather lasts way longer, doesn’t dry and crack. My 13 year old MB interior still looks new. Leather doesn’t mean better. The mb tech leather is more durable by far than real leather.

    So is the GLE350 the new ML350?

    • @kyrees.williams3442
      @kyrees.williams3442 7 лет назад +1

      Well, the refresh has been well-received (sales went up tremendously). Besides, the 3rd-gen M-Class debuted for MY2012. In 2016, when it got its refresh and became the GLE-Class, it certainly wasn't old enough for a complete redesign. Expect to see a new one for 2019 or 2020, most likely.
