Just did my 200, thank you for the video! Very helpful. I did find that in mine I had to trim those little connections between the pickup sections (he kept calling them "grounds" for sound reason) to fit without touching the shield. And yeah, your pickups are going to move, so expect to check for tine rubbing in the gap after putting it together. But overall pretty easy, and the hum is definitely much reduced.
If I may make one suggestion, I think it's better to tighten up the grounds after the reed bar shield is in place-- if you tighten it up before, you can move the pickup and get some nasty squeals.... as I just found out.
Thanks alot.. im trying to restore the use wurlitzer i got.. it doesnt have a sound. Its in tune and can be played unplugged but its not loud. When I plugged it in it has popping aound like crackling sound once in a while
this makes me try to open it up.. whats the major problem if theres no sounds coming out when I plugged it and turn it on. It turns on and i can see it theres a light. But it produces a popping sound to the speakers once in a while
It's so quiet now! I love my wurly even more if that is possible. Adam. You. Rock.
