Can we bend the reeds for the pickups that are thick in the higher and lower registers? Because the pickup is straight it seems like my reeds are bent, or do I need to replace the bent ones?
Can I Frankenstein my new 206a it has no power Im at the point I have to take the hum shield off and I can see if a reeds shorting out against a pick-up. I heard that it an cause it not to power on but I found a used old 200 board and I'm wanting it for the aux out and tremelo that isn't present on my 206a the student model I don't want to chop it but I want to hear that baby sing I found a rats, mice tomatoes tomato's nest that when I pulled it out on the high end I almost filled a plastic grocery bag with nesting and I couldn't believe it it even ate into the first 2 hammers but didn't destroy them just left there mark to improve my sound I just don't know if I put a 200 board on the 206a then I'm gonna probably have to get a new 200 pre amp cause the 206a has the 200a board what to do what to do
I looked back at my 200 pickup and actually some parts are thicker than others. So some parts I can bend and others I can't. I think the upper register is where it's very thick and I can't really bend it.
Very good video, I just pulled my wifes" wurlitzer out of the garage after 7 years and I was able to get it working perfectly.!

I have ohne question. It obviously happened to someone I lend My Wurlitzer to that he broke off two reeds - how can this happen?

Is the pickup different on a 200 vs. a 200A? The pickup on my 200 doesn't seem to be movable like the 200A in this video
Same issue....
