    Question for a future episode:
My friends and I are all curious on how you made the leap from your short to your feature. I know you have the short to feature labs where filmmakers build up their scripts into feature scripts, but what’s your specific story on how you got funding and the greenlight for the Thunder Road movie. What were the unexpected bumps in the road? Did the success snowball into the next two movies or did you have to pitch everywhere for a while? Have the Scripts for Beta Test and Wolf of Snow Hollow been ready for a while now?

Really really loving this so far. There's something about sitting in a field and talking about filmmaking that inspires me. I also really appreciate your guys' openness about your jealousy of one another and how it can help push you.

Thanks, Jim and Danny. I like the advice to make it about something you care about. Asking for a reason why a director it a writer wants to tell a given story is really the best way to find a common denominator if you're gonna work together in any way.

These are really nice Jim! Thunder Road was a master class in small town indie feature filmmaking. Would love to hear more stories from the trenches like this :)

Hey Jim, how do you make friends in film? If I may be more specific, friends that share a similar taste with you. Does that even happen often? I feel like all the filmmakers in my city want to make something different from the things I want to do. But I would be more than happy to have a network or friends that I can collaborate with.

Hi Jim, huge fan of these videos and everything you do in general (stoked to see the Beta Test).
I have a question about Thunder Road (The short): How did you acquire the rights to use the song? Did you pay in full for the rights or is there some kind of workaround if you're licensing something exclusively for festivals? Thanks!

Hey Jim could you talk a little about licensing music? I know you licensed music for the Thunder Road short. What are some challenges you faced and did you learn any good ways to overcome them?
