@@Tudestube you can register imported plates and use them on your car like regular plates and dont need an up to date registration displayed on the tags because its imported & should fall under show & display laws. Itd ruin the purpose in having the original tags. This is how it works in Maryland, USA. Not sure where you are or where they are but that how it work here.

Not so sure it’s the real deal ... never seen a GT ( GT2 ) with headlight high pressure washer ...( wich was standard in turbo and not an option in the GT even with the Konfort package ) also you can spot inside in the center console the bottom consol with sunroof switch and rear wiper switch ... even if it was sunroof delete and rear window was changed with RS one
Mav Flight probably a turbo with a conversion. Probably all original GT2s are stored away in climate controlled garages with maybe one or two 2-3rd gear pulls every year
But why? The 996 on up has a better look with their more aero l, laid back windshield. When i saw those i didnt really want 993 anymore. I had a few 944 turbos aka 951. I got tired of working on them. I had a 964 and a 996, but not a 993. I like the less refined 993 turbo. The 996 turbo is fast and handles well, but the 993 is just sexy.

Even if it were valid, this German license plate would not be valid outside Germany. He says it's an export license plate but that's not correct. Export number plate has a red color and not orange, the Organe are only for use within Germany.

Yellow badge is common for 2 or 3 days up to 15 days. Red badge is for provisional plates which can be used for more than 15 days. EDIT: And it's not only for use within germany.

The closest I have gotten to experience this car is in plastic form, a model kit that is lol I built the Tamiya version of this car. It's painted a burgundy metallic with gold BBS lace wheels. Went together nicely.

Then a Porsche 911S in 1968. I wish I had either right now. Then in 1968 I special order a one-off Dodge Dart 383, 4sp. I loved that car, but still wished I have one or both of those Porsches. Prob well kept in garage since then.
Those were the German plates before it was imported. You dont need an up to date registration on imported tags for historical reasons
