knocked out the park again. cracking work by all. think what i love is the end of the video you said 'im not making you like or subscribe, you do as you like around here'.. thats refreshing to not have that rammed in your face every video, far too many channels do that. Ted on top form as per usual.
I cant wait to see the 4005 in person tomorrow. Ive come all the way from the states to see it this year. Your work has been super entertaining to follow and I hope everything goes smoothly with it over the course of Tankfest.
Joe, There is only one thing left to say, and that is GOOD LUCK AT TANK FEST 2024. Seriously tho', you have done a superb job of restoration on the FV4005 in the short time you've had it. So there are somethings not quite ready, but compared to what it could have been with all the struggles etc. You've done Bloody Marvellous Miracles to her, and she should be displayed with pride and you should be very pleased with what you achieved in the time. WELL DONE JOE & TEAM....
6 months and all that? That's well in my book. Parts had to be made, things had to be untangled, paint, troubles. Then some out time for some of the team. All understandable. Given how well it looks, it's surprising you managed to get it all as good as it is - and 90% running. When it's all said and done, it's going to be a great piece. You done did good!
Pipe down ye gret bunglesfinger, :) everyone needs a rest and the output is always double top-notch, though I know you were joking, others have been a bit keener elsewhere. Cheeky bloody monkies!!
Well done Joe and company, and thank you Ted for being so very Teddish throughout the rebuild. An excellent example to one and all. What a great video and hats off to Mrs Joe for all the great video production :)
Fantastic work. After months of hard work, and entertainment for us, I wish you all the best for Tankfest. Enjoy yourselves, you'll be the star of the show.
I went to tankfest myself for the first time just because of this amazing machine youve brought back to life. My humble thanks to every single person who made this possible, this machine was sat rotting away outside, destined to die. But because of an idea, it was brought back, better than ever. And it put the biggest smile on my face seeing it drive for the first time at tankfest, and hopefully not the last time either. And if thatgs the case, sign me up for next year! Anyway, i think its time to give its little brothers some love... the conway and chartioteer hidden away in the bovington hanger! then it can be son, father and grandfather all together!
I just watched the video of the three of you at tank fest, brilliant job driving it and it didn’t break down as you feared. All your fans are proud of the job you’ve all accomplished. Make sure you wash the tank, it’s filthy, Cheers mates.
So many fond memories of that tank.. dad was stationed in Bovington late 80’s with 3RTR, I had fond memories of playing on that tank.. thank you bringing it back to its former glory & also THANK TED YOU UTTER LEGEND 😂
You should be incredibly proud of your achievements. No need to apologise for parts that are yet to be worked on. To achieve such a monumental task in such a short time is truly magnificent
Bloody good job fellas... you have done in 6 months what I would assume would take 2 or 3 years, you should be so proud of yourselves, see you at the weekend 👍🏻
Thank you Ted for all your hard work on the FV4005. Perhaps at some point we can get part of a video showing us all the dogs that are around the shop and be introduced.
My brother and I went to Fort Moore (formally Fort Benning) for an open house on their armor display April 27th of this year. It was very impressive. We also visited the American Infantry Museum and attended the live fire demonstration featuring 120mm mortars, drones, servicemen, Strykers, Bradleys, and Abram’s MBT’s. It was a great visit. If I ever make it to England I would love to visit and thank you for the many hours of enjoyment I have received from watching your videos. Thank you so much. From 2 older American pharmacists.
Fantastic job. I was Cent trained whilst in the R.E.M.E. during my service between 73 and 83. To look after a Cent OP with the Artillery and Cent Recovery Vehicles.
Well done, what a splendid job all of you have done. It was a major effort that most of us fans have watched since the beginning. I also have just about finished my 4005 model, when I figure out how to send the pictures to you, I will send it straight away. Good luck at tank fest. Cheers.
Looks amazing, sounds amazing. Such great work. Can't wait to see it driving around. Sadly stuck in New Zealand so won't be at tank fest. Give yourselves a bloody great pat on the back
After spending two and a half hours in a queue to get into Tankfest on Friday and missing all of the morning programme it was great to see you driving FV4005 around the arena. Missed ted though. Hope that he will be number one on your plaque of list of helpers to put on the turret
Sounds and looks amazing. I started my military on a Centurion and have a real soft spot for this vehicle. So thanks. If I could have and I lived in your country I would have liked to volunteer to work on this vehicle..

Ted's name deserves top billing on the memorial plaque.
It's ruff, being a barketing manager!
Must say that Ted was great supervising everything and I think he needs vacation too!
I love how humble Ted is. He's basically done all the hard work but you don't hear him bragging about it. Great dog, wonderful manager.
