This was one of those trips where you've only got a little bit of time left to fish and you stumble across a honey hole....epic.

Sometimes, whenever I eat M&Ms, I like to hold two m&m's in between my fingers and squeeze as hard as I can until one m&m cracks. I eat the cracked one, and the one that didn't crack becomes the champion. Then I grab the other m&m, and force it to compete with the champion in this deadly game of m&m gladiators. I do this until I run out of m&m's, and when there is only one m&m left standing, I send a letter to m&m's brand with the champion m&m in it with a note attached that reads: "Please use this m&m for breeding purposes."

Big muskie here in Columbus but no pike. But Alum creek has become a premier musky lake . Monsters

Nice fish, nice cold hands after that release! hey, one thought - have you considered rubber banding the trebles when moving between spots? ie. Use a heavy rubber band around the reel handle and loop around the lure's rear treble. It makes me cringe seeing you untangling the trebles from your reel etc when you start fishing a new spot!

Nice fish! Try using blue in cold water, and not too big. Try traps and flatfish moving slow, just enough speed to get a small amount of action from the baits. Ive caught a lot of winter musky on 3 1/2" traps and M-60 flat fish, sometimes several in an hour. Youll need to change the hooks.
That dam holds some really big catfish as well!!

funny to read...here in (central-north) europe we only have pike and zander. Saltwaterfishing is nearly useless here...
And you can go saltwaterfish at dozends of huge species, freshwater fishing on giant bass that are at least twice the size of european perch...
...and you complain about not having pikes avaible
Awesome catch Dude. One of my favorite places to fish. FYI. You must wear PFDs Nov 15/May 15 on the upper River. If DNR catches you without one ON!!! Be ready to pay $$$$$ fine. Tight lines catch on the water.
