This guide will help you to flash global ROM for any Xperia while having VoLTE and VoWiFi features. Also will improve the battery life and mobile signal reception.

Thank you very much for the instructions. My Xperia 1 II (XQ-AT52) stopped phone call function after Vodafone Australia shutdown 3G network (only sms and 4G data left). Bought a new phone and decided to turn my Xperia 1 II into a spare phone. I did run into a problem of installing Google USB driver on Windows 11 but solved it by installing Android Studio. After that, I didn't have any challenge to flash my Xperia 1 II into UK + SEA as in the video. Now my Xperia 1 II can make VolTE calls on Vodafone network again.
I think the flashed phone has dual sim even though the base is single sim XQ-AT51 because I can see SIMs in settings. I am yet to insert two sims into the phone for a confirmation.
Yap it's only simple interface contractor.but it's not fit single SIM version.
Hi, I m using XQ-AT52 on Kogan(Vodafone) network and no luck with VOLTE, can I ask did you use the Xperia 1 firmware for your Xperia 1 II?

@siwulf7539 I didn't have extensive experience of the flashed phone. I did a few calls to confirm it works only. Before I flashed the xperia 1 II, I had already bought s24+. I only wanted the xperia 1 II as a backup phone because all Australia 3g networks should be retired in 2024 nation wide.
I don't think flashed phone could change radio reception because it is similar to someone from South East Asia visiting Australia with Xperia 1 II. Previously it was sourced from Hong Kong. Same hardware with software configuration for different regions of the world only.

The only global ROM for Xperia 10 IV is dual sim, is it safe to flash it while my phone is single sim?
Try it. Usually nothing gonna break. sometimes NFC and/or fingerprint may not work on that ROM. If you copy the MODEM and OEM files there is no different in single and dual sim versions.

Thanks for posting the video. i tried to flash global rom single sim on my 1 Xperia 1ii au version, but it says 'Your device is corrupt It can't be trusted and will not boot' after flashing. tried kddi rom also and no luck. any ideas ?

Repair with Xperia Companion. 1 mark 2 ekata base rom eka widiyata global rom eka ganna epa. original Japan firmware ekama ganna. Me image eke thiyena files tika SEA or global firmware eken aragena replace karala flash karanna.

Hi, I did everything following the steps carefully on my Xperia 1 II when I pressed open newflasher on step 9 (6:23) it said "No usb device with vid:0x0fce pid:0xb00b !" and then I get stucked whats wrong with it?
