Always a pleasure to watch your layout Mick, many thanks for sharing and well done on reaching 1000 wagons and 5000 subscribers. No expense spared on the spray booth lol, if it works who cares. Take care regards Barry..
Thanks Tom for your comment and now jumping on the channel. You have plenty to keep occupied for some time. Enjoy and please send some comments. All the best. Mick
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn Thanks for getting back to me. I'm just getting more into British trains, and need to expand my DC ovals on the outer layout to keep a few more DC trains on it...
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn They definitely do, your layout is very realistic, saw the video with the pictures from the Hornby magazine, the buildings and scenery are spectacular. I've been to the UK only a couple of times, so most I know is from movies, and I'm thinking about including at least a UK section or even a separate layout in my future plans...
Hi Michael and congrats for the 5000 subs. Once again you have blown me away, what an awesome train, the 37s with a full rake of auto balaster's, outstanding. Only on your layout. Not even at shows do you get such movement as can be seen on yours. Don't know about you but Im finding show layouts although well detailed and there's some long layouts, nothings happing on the tracks. All the action seems to be going on in the fiddle yards and not much going on out front, hey ho. Anyway matey hope to see you again at the next show and this time have to get to stay and talk for longer. All the best Peter
Thanks Peter for such a great reply. Yes your right about the shows. I don't worry about a fiddle yard with so much stock what would I put on it. I would rather have the tracks to run trains on. Yes look forward to that, so I think that could be the GET show. All the best and keep making video's. All the best for now. Mick
Hi Toucan. Thank you for watching and your comment. Viaduct was made of ply wood, covered with a Das clay, scribe with a small screw driver. Paint and weather with a air brush. All the best. Mick
Hi mick, congratulations on 5000, subs, 1000 wagons wow how many locos chief ? Locos look great pulling the turnouts over viaduct looking through trees great shot, Shame we mr each other at alley pally good show but not as good as last year, hopefully see you soon, take care cheif 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Mark hope all is well with you. I have now 280 to run but still more on order. Wife keeps telling me I have enough but you know what hits like. Your right about the show it was just missing something. I don't know how we missed each other at the show. My next one will be the GET show which I will be there on the Saturday hope you can make it. You take care. Mick
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn 280 that cool, coaches next then ?? Yes it certainly was missing something, ok cool i see you there as I’ll be going to that, I’ll come looking for you And get the search party out 😂, Take care chief 🎉🎉🎉
Very hard to answer this. The 92 is a great loco and having the other 3, I they do look very big and perform well. The Hatton 66 is so powerful and despite the work that has to be done and the livery of this one is a great contender. The Garratt is so big it looks fantastic with a large rake of wagons behind it. so I think this time I would go with the 66 plus with the Road & Rails sound sets it off. Thanks for the question, but what would you choose. Let me know. All the best. Mick
Hi Mick Great video well done on the 5000 subs am loving the spray booth excellent idea I didn't think the steam loco would pull but it did what sounds in your colas 37s?? Hows the extension going? Can't believe you have a 1000 rolling stock well done on that you need to build a fiddle yard somewhere 😂😂😂 cheers Paul
Hi Paul thanks for watching and the comment. The 37's have Digitrains sound with double iphone speakers. The extension is on hold due to the rising cost but have been busy. New bifold doors a couple of new windows plus the whole bungalow has been insulated and cladded. We are removing dining room wall and wife wants the new kitchen. So Railway room is on back burner sadly to say. The fiddle yard is a no no where would I put it. Take care. Mick
@@michaelsmith-hn1cn hi mick as for the fiddle yard right in the new kitchen and then tell the wife that's where its staying 🤣🤣 I did it once with my wife and it stayed there for the about a second she gave me that wife look okay I'll move it lol cheers Paul
Hi Michael, nice running session again your long rake’s are really impressive, you got my hopes up saying that you bought two new hattons 66s I thought they still had some left never mind I’ve got a couple of Accurascale 66s on pre order cheers Al
Lovely job Mick. I love the hi-tech spray booth, I think Ford had a similar system at Dagenham in the 1960's. You're about 600 wagons behind me now but I know you'll catch up.I've been expecting to see some work on the extension, is there a hold up? Regards, David.
Hello David nice to hear from you. Yes prices keep going up but we have been busy. New bifold doors, a couple of new windows plus the whole bungalow has been insulated and cladded. Now in the process of the dining room wall down and Shirley wants a new kitchen. Railway room on hold at the mo. Hope all his well with you both. I would love to have many more wagons but I have run out of storage space and also where to keep the box's. You take care and may be we will meet up again sometime. All the best. Mick & Shirley
Hi Michael im left a little confused the last Vid you did was talking about you having a Extension being Built and the track would be even Bigger that was a while ago But i see no Changes Is it me or have Plans changed or got Delayed ??? Great Running Session thanks
Hi Anthony. Yes we have been busy with new bifold doors, couple of windows, completely insulated and cladded the bungalow. Wall coming down between dining room and kitchen then new kitchen being fitted. The price of it all has gone up, wife won't fund a bigger railway room at the mo.Thanks for the comment. Mick
Sorry to say the extension is on hold due to prices keep in creasing but we have been busy doing bifold doors windows, insulation all round the bungalow plus gladding. New kitchen now so railway room on hold for the mo. Thanks for asking. Take care. Mick
