Legally in the uk you can't emulate a game even if you do own an original copy. Only legal way to play it is on an emulator that will allow you to use the hard copy game. Even then it's a grey issue as you can't legally download the ps1 bios and any emulator that does use sonys bios is illegal as well.

DoX is amazing and makes every Tomb Raider game after Anniversary look bad. Unfortunately, NicoBass never pretended to be working on a full game, so the one level 'demo' is as far as the game will go (it already took him years to make, and apparently he also got a game industry job after the release). That being said, he has been also teasing a new location and even a vehicle driving Lara in social media recently, so who knows if we will some day see a DoX update with a new level!

The worst TR game of all time? What a waste of resources
Hey i was wondering how do i choose a power supply ? I need to get a new one cause my current one isn't that good.
Legally in the uk you can't emulate a game even if you do own an original copy. Only legal way to play it is on an emulator that will allow you to use the hard copy game. Even then it's a grey issue as you can't legally download the ps1 bios and any emulator that does use sonys bios is illegal as well.
which reminds us why 1776 happened at all dirty stinking teethless bureaucracy lovers xDDDD
The boob physics are what's causing such slowdown. How can any GPU think on it's feet while watching those bounce around everywhere?
This DoX demo-remake is an excellent tool for testing Vega undervolts
Trying to play it on my main rig . First , it keeps trying to launch my Oculus Rift software , then Steam VR . Finally got it to launch properly @4k & I now was reminded how back I sucked at this game . I could never get out of the cave ! I had to have my sons get me thru it . Bty , I was at mid 40s to mid/upper 50s fps with everything at max settings w/o v/sync (not need , lol) . System specs : 4k monitor (duh) , i7 4790k o/c to 4.6ghz , 2 1080ti in SLI , 32gb ddr3 memory . Will try it tomorrow on my Xeon setup that's at 2560x1440p Ultrawide ...
I only played the first tomb rider on my ps1 and I loved the music back den.. the graphics were an issue due to missing things and stopped playing it 😶.. This remake is sick well done fan..
How's the 5700 XT doing these days after the driver upgrades? Are the black screens gone?
I download this demo and loved it. Hopefully the creator will have enough money and resources to complete the project
The helicopter blades are melting my eyes.
Wow, that's awesome! It even has me quiting after dying a few times to many. I'll be back though Lady Croft.....
All the brit youtubers I follow seem to have a quaint garden to shoot in if they do live video at all and I’m jealous.
Bro help me....I having a problem...I have gf210 graphics card,so when I install graphics driver and after restart...there no nvidia driver...help me please
I can still hear the sound of her pistols, even when there's no sound
this is how the Tomb Raider shoulve been since the reboot, not the one-woman-army-terminator BS we got instead
Lol
I played the demo of the remake and I really have to say, despite the better graphics. I prefer the orginal. I got on much better with the "clunky" controls, it's just what I got used to.
Hi mate.
I know its not apples to apples but im running a 1080 (Ryzen 7 OCed) running this between 89 and 180 FPS.
Feels odd that your 5700 XT would be that slow.
EDIT: Oh, 4K.... Nvm, I said nothing :D.
Btw, the animations are real smooth here. Really good work.
Niiiice.... I'm gonna try this tonight
Wow this is amazing dowloading it now, thanks for bringing it to my attention. This just goes to show that developers now days don't have any excuses since if this guy and the ONE guy that made Bright Memory can make such wonderful Games why do we get broken shitty Games on launch?
Do a review of such cards:HD7870/7850,gtx 660/ti or maybe some used parts PC build
that demo is out for quite a while now. what actually happened to the project?
@Subi_fan instead of shutting it down, square enix should give him a fucking job. 'cause that demo is obv. high quality stuff.
i was running this on my 3700x and 2080 super at 1440p my frame rate is mid 80's-100 fps with high and ultra(textures and quality at ultrra) looks amazing and super smooth!!
This is what we thought the original game looked like back in the day.
Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics need to do this.
Guess so. This looks waay more interesting than the reboot. Cause they didn't try to put in boring side characters in the classic. Not a fan of the reboot.
I have tombraider 2 original how i can setup this mod?
Damn those graphics are gorgeous to look at. I miss the old tomb raider games. Such nostalgia. 😟
BTW. Anyone remembers the tomb raider mods??? 🤭🤫
This game have better graphics than most of the games today
OMG that is some overhaul! Wow
with the worries of unsecured sites now-a-days. I don't think I'll partake in this venture at this time. However, I like what has been done, and I wish the creator all the luck in the world. But he need to secure his site before I can trust the download. But I do hope the original creators see this and sponsor him for a full remake release.
Will this run on a gtx 1060 laptop (6) Gb of ram with a 8650U cpu
i still own the triple box with 1 2 and 3 for pc in my draw... lol i have no idea whta to do with it really
Any RTX enabling with this demo?
Tomb raider 2 was fun when I was 5, playing on my uncle ps, never got too far
wait can you play the full game like this?
You forgot the link in description?
God if this was done fully and better optimized then it would be amazing.
