Tandem rear axle Civic pickup. Use the drivetrain from a Subaru with a j series motor (so you can run straight stacks off the manifolds) and A fifth wheel car hauler.
Put 275K miles on a 2007 ridgeline. 50K towing across US and back and all around. Excellent TRUCK. Tows 5000 lbs. rear diff locks. FWD dominant better than RWD american "Trucks" which slip and slid with adverse weather....
