You have some of the best tutorials out there. And I have watched music production tutorials almost everyday for 2 years now. I have seen hundreds of tutorials. I love how you give context and explain things step by step. Its just so conducive to learning. Other tutorials are heavily edited and people think they have to give the main points but you take us through step by step. You would make an excellent teacher, you already are!

mello dee do you use the shift knob to get more bounce in the hihat?
Marcus Farrell nah, I use “strum” on melodic instruments and chords. BUT something wondagurl does, when the kick hits, she’ll slide the hi hat timing a lil bit back each time it’s under a kick.
Is there a faster way to do that pitch drag besides moving them individually?
if you're talking about the notes in the piano roll, Moving multiple notes to different pitches, i dont think theres a convenient way. But if you wanna move a set of notes, of course you can highlight them, push Shft+UP or DOWN and it'll transpose them up or down a semitone for each click
Where did you get that "step" .fsc? I do't have that anywhere on my computer. Is that custom?

Bruh u can do alt + a for chop it'll be fast to do it
Dianz Massa Alt + u too, I also found out that adjusting the snap time then using the quick chop option will give u a quick chop
I keep getting like a slash, your look like steps at minute 2:44. Trying to figure out how to move the notes without it looking like a cliff. i can't change to velocity similar for some reason and doing it with a mousepad as well..
Only thing I can say is highlight the actual note. Go to the front velocity, press and hold the left click. While holding that, then press the right and however you slide the mouse should manipulate it
It doesn’t let me delete single notes when I do the chops like this
When you go to the chop tool, there’s a bubble that says “group notes”, unclick that and you’ll be able to delete individual notes

when i go to chop the first time step is not an option
If you're chopping through the chop tool, click the folder and find the quantize folder. You'll find the step folder in there. You can also click the horse shoe icon in the piano roll and pick 1/2 step to do chops
