Hello, just wanted to stop by and say thank you because I am 14 years old and from advice from your videos and such I've made over 2000 dollars so far, hope to see more content from you Guys :)
Jerseys and the shirts are Nice. You scored on your picks. Have a great weekend. The MLB hat was a Milwaukee Brewers Hat. The Carhartt Pullover, Harley Davidson Hat , Louisville Slugger Glove, North Face Hoodie, Dansko Shoes, Tumi Messenger Bag, Cody Bag, Harley Davidson Shirt, Merrill Shoes, Converse Chuck Taylor All-stars, Thanks for the video Take Care Josh and Haley. With the apps like Worth Point and Google Lens, a reseller has a little edge, which does help a lot. I've thrifted all my life almost, and I don't even know a drop in the bucket in the grand scheme of things. Good luck thrifting. 👍
It started off slow from that first Goodwill but it didn't stopped you all in moving forward and you found some good items. Way to go Josh and Hayley! Blessings
9:52 The joy of reselling is that you can keep things, wear them a while and THEN sell them. I used to sell plus sized dresses and blue jean skirts and I would find a great outfit, wear it to Mass on Sunday and then sell the outfit during the week and then do it again during the week. I imagine people thought I had tons of clothes, not knowing I sold them all.
The goodwill you left around 11:00 that was so nice was Madison, GA. I drive an hour to get there because they always have good stuff, prices, and are clean. Wish I could have run into you all!
Y’all have the best job ever, I love thrift shops and bins. Resell all the way. So sad for the over priced Goodwill store. 👎 ❤love your channel, long time viewer. Yea to Mr. And Mrs.🌪️ Awesome job Haley. 🌸👏🌸👏🌸👏
You are in my home state! You guys always do great. As you see, there is no rhyme or reason for the GW prices. The best thrifts in GA tend to be the little, non-profit, community-supporting stores. Have fun in the ATL!
That other hat is a Milwaukee Brewers hat. Such an awesome logo, the ball with the pointer finger makes the "B" for brewers. and the rest of the fingers is an M for Milwaukee
This goodwill price diversity is mind boggling. They are driving themselves out of the market. The best part was your turnaround in the reasonable ones. PS I live in Michigan, our northern goodwills aren’t wonderful, but I will babysit Mose anytime 😂🤓. 🥰. Elizabeth
The only "good" thing is once items haven't sold for a certain amount of time (here the tag also has the day it was put out), they lot it up and take it to the Goodwill bins. I've seen things in the bins that had local Goodwill price tags showing dates as recent as a week ago.
That MLB hat is the Milwaukee Brewers. Those GW prices were insane! I assumed the T marked on the prices at the last store meant Tan which weren't 50%. Just guessing. Awesome vid!
Josh and Hayley! Thanks for taking us along on this thrifting adventure! So much to see! I appreciate you both so much! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
I was recently on a road trip as well in the same areas. Goodwill prices were through the roof (especially shoes) and many no longer have a color of the week. Mom and Pop shops were MUCH better.
Price difference between cities.. Augusta = Denver. Our Local GWs would never, ever have items that nice and and we would never find for the amazing prices you did. Great work! Glad it was so successful. 👏
The blue baseball hat is Milwaukee Brewers. If you look at the glove it is designed as a M for the fingers and B for the palm/thumb which is mb for Milwaukee Brewers.
"That's like... 2 less than usual..." 😂😂😂 I feel your pain, though. We even dip out waffle fries in the CFA sauce. That stuff is delicious! 😊 Good finds!
Can’t believe you guys were in this area… park Ave thrift is one of my fav thrift stores! They also have a park Ave outlet where items are sold by pricing for the day (2.00 day… 1.00 day etc). 🙌🏻🎊
A good remedy for getting paint out of a lot of clothing is rubbing alcohol, worked like a charm on a pair of Lulu shorts and a pair of jeans that I found. Good pickup on the Milwaukee Brewers baseball hat. Scott Weiland R.I.P. 😢former led singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver. On another note that stinks that the Augusta goodwills are so outrageous now, they used to be a goldmine back in the day.
@@tycetycebaby No problem 👍🏻, I’m just not sure about using it on delicate materials suck as silk, cashmere ect… because you usually do have to do some scrubbing to get the paint out.
Such a great quality video from start to finish! I love the concept of being able to travel and thrift and pay for your travels through doing so! You two should definitely travel thrift more! Maybe to state parks, Disney/amusement parks, etc.! Keep up the great work and quality videos you two are putting out. Love everything about you guys. Thank you for being an inspiration!
I cannot believe you guys came to Covington Georgia Goodwill. That was just right down from where I live. Man its a small world. Keep on thrifting my friends!!! Great Video..
Great to see you down in the south! The goodwills you went to are painful to watch but unfortunately they are same way here in Jacksonville, FL. There was a switch about 4 years ago that they started employing/deploying "pricers" that their specific job is to price things and they keep up with online sales and will price up lots of items. It makes it extremely difficult to find any good deals. With that said if you pass by any of our local stores the parking lot is packed out and sometimes there is no parking! I pretty much stopped reselling at this point, i was a weekend warrior for years and did great, but lately the competition is so fierce its hard to find anything. I had to come back to add in something. 15:25 she said "we can just sit here and wait", yes she is right, there are resellers that will stand next to the backroom doors and wait for the employees to bring out baskets of new merch and they will pounce on it like rats.
We are charged sales tax at thrift stores here in South Dakota. Plus, our Goodwills no longer have a color of the week and the senior discount is only 6%, which almost pays for the sales tax (ours is 6.5%)
Josh - FYI - the MLB hat is for the Milwaukee Brewers. If you ever find a Dallas Stars or Minnesota North Stars Hockey Jersey (my favorite teams) that would be cool. I keep an eye on your EBay store. Stay safe
Hey! That last stop is in my hometown, Duluith. Park Avenue Thrift can have some good stuff. Better than the Goodwills around here. Hope you had a great trip!
A poshmark closet would allow you to do live auction sales too and get higher prices for your clothes. Not sure the qualifications but saw it and thought of you guys lol
That was the Madison GA Goodwill store. I hit it every time I drive from Savannah to see my parents bin Athens and it never lets me down!! The two Athens stores have great stuff too.
The “I Fly” hat you found is from one of those air-filled tunnel thingies that they float you around in & you can do spins, etc. It’s sorta like skydiving. Our two sons did that at Universal Studios in CA.
I worked at Goodwill in Richmond Hill Georgia. Best job I ever had we could only shop at our store when they gave us permission. I got some good deals. I like the Steelers and I bought some nice stuff. Brook shoes. Great videos keep up the good work.
Our local goodwill does the same thing now, they jack up all the prices. However, we just got a beautiful cherry wood tall dresser from them for $100. I looked it up after we bought it and it retails for $1100! They had the entire set there, but we only needed a tall dresser. The rest of the set went for under $500 - which included a 4 post bed, a dresser with mirror, and a nightstand. Wish we needed a set. :(
My wife and I love to watch and LEARN from your videos! One thing we have noticed is that the Goodwill locations in your hometown have REALLY good prices! Ours here in Michigan are sky high! BTW I hope you get more subscribers than my employer, Home Depot!
That first goodwill was insane, but very similar to how our Houston area ones have been pricing items. It’s rare that I walk out of them with anything anymore. Mom and pop thrifts, some estate sales, and garage sales are my favs. Those kuhl pants were sweet. Also look out for kuiu clothing, same niche as kuhl. Very good returns.
For supposedly a "NON PROFIT", they sure charge like they're raking it in like someone is lining their pockets. You say anything to a higher up Goodwill employee and they will defend how much money it costs to have employees, buildings etc. As a business owner myself I understand that to a point, but they get EVERYTHING FOR FREE and have countless state and federal writeoffs because they're a 501c3.
I had almost the identical Goodwill experience yesterday. I found a couple pair of jeans for my 12 year old daughter and she picked out a couple DVDs for $1.50 each but otherwise EVERYTHING was over priced. 😞
I live in middle Georgia and can confirm the goodwill stores in the same network as Augusta are all getting like that. I frequently run into things like $5 coffee mugs and $30 shoes. Jeans are up to 8.99. 😫 We do have a color of the week for half off, and Monday’s color or the week clothing is $1.25. That’s the only way I can source now and stay profitable since I sell a lot of bread and butter type items.
I live about 5 miles from that first goodwill you visited. That goodwill is by far the most expensive thrift store in the Augusta area. Crazy stupid prices! I The others in Augusta are expensive as well. I do go there regularly though because I live close by and do find stuff that slips thru the cracks. Just have kinda get lucky though and be there at the right time.
@@jillybean651 Yeah, I used to go there regularly. It closed maybe 2 years ago. There wasnt very many hard goods. It was mostly clothes. There wasnt much competition there though. I used to do fairly well until it closed.

blows my mind how some Goodwills are marking stuff at retail and higher.. my hometown Goodwill tries to do that but they're not very smart so half the store is retail ebay prices and the other half is great deals
I live in northwest Georgia and there is a Park Ave Thrift 30 minutes from me. I love that store. I always get great values there, esp when I find things half off. And their items are always good quality used condition. I just sold my first pair of Hoka shoes that I got at Park Avenue for $12.97. I've bought shoes there that with the 50% off I paid maybe $2.50-$3.50. When I go there I specifically look for items that I can get the 50% discount, and they are always running that sale, the color tag exception just changes from week to week. BTW the best Goodwill stores in Atlanta are on the north side of town: Roswell Rd near Buckhead, the one near Perimeter Mall and the store in the Alpharetta area is good too.
I wonder if it may be worth it to shop w/ some Tide to Go Wipes or something similar so you could see if some of the clothing stains would come out in store. Obviously not to clean the whole garment, but it may give you ease of mind in house.

I see you used to put up video's.. that is a lot of work.
@johnnyswag2802 It sure is. It's not for everyone, including myself for now I suppose 😄
Disagree. I’d say the best thing about being a reseller is making your own schedule/working when you want.
@KevinDurantisnot Indeed there are many a reason that make reselling great
