Yes Tiling is pretty darn easy!!!!I did my own tiling of my whole kitchen counter and the bathroom counter and even out in the laundry room, a side table...and I was very happy with it. I don't remember now if I had to "cut" any tiles but I'm sure I had to...other than cutting to fit...yes you can get a book at the library and also watch you tube, go to a tile store and say help me with a dyi shower, take pictures of what you want to tile...and it will be FUN and save you money and you learn a new skill...and yeah...not hard at all, at least not for me. No I did not do a shower tile BUT I watched plenty of vids on it on tv rehab shows. You have to put down a liner, what I would do to cut down cost is do as much as you can yourself, then have them do the rest (at the discount as you do the liner install, buy and place all materials there etc.) I did most of the work in a ll my fixers uppers...except for electrical. I did not touch that. I did my own plumbing but had a plumber come in to check it out. He said good job. Pretty good for a country girl!

Mose's PJs 🤣🤣🤣🥰 I live in a semi wetland area. I used to use the regular styrene peanuts for shipping. One stormy day, my peanut order was delivered. One huge bag blew off the porch and into the slough behind the house. I had to wade out in the muck and get it so the peanuts wouldn't go out with the tide. Now, I use the compostable cornstarch peanuts in case that happens again.
Your wine bottle opener looks almost more like a bottle capper, a wonderful tool to have when you make beer. We made beer and the bottle capper was a necessity.
You two are so cute! Love all your different business ventures. I wish my husband would get into it with me. I some what have him willing to go to Estate Sales. He usually goes for the consumables- trash bags, candles, etc.
You can find non union tile setters who do side jobs for way cheaper than going directly through the company and them sending an employee out on the books. Unions just jack up the rates and usually less quality work.

When you are at the Bens/Bends and you run across a single shoe thats worth a lot of moolah you have a couple of options; you can keep looking yourself or, you can announce that (semi) out loud that if anyone can find the match to this shoe (hold it up) I will give them $10. But never, never never discard the shoe back into the bend until you are ready to leave store.

My dad was in hvac till his 80’s. My brother was in it also till he took his life at 25 😢. But the trades can be a great job! My granddaughters boyfriends are both in being trained one to be electrician one to install flooring👍🏻👏🏻. (Our girls are twins).
