Fantastic and no kidding - I was hooked from the start. Love how the proceedings went - gradually - from pulp fiction to the supernatural in the most satisfying fashion. In one of his jobs, the protagonist remarked on some of the remains looking like something that would belong in the Marianas Trench. A hint of things to come but damn… did not expect how things turned out.
Hope you find the time to write more!

I mean, maybe the cat will visit him again after he gets Hazard pay. As the story progress he gets pulled deeper into the organization.

Whew!! What a ride! This tale had me so wrapped up and totally engaged I was nearly shouting to the kid how stupid he was being for not believing what the man had told him about the creature in the attic. I had a strong feeling that she wasn’t all that she appeared to be as soon as she made the comment that her wounds were healing quickly. And had she not been able to finish all that she did, his ass would’ve been on the chopping block as soon as the word got to Mr Elliot. Such an amazing story! And to the author I wish to deliver a personal message of praise as I now aware of who truly wrote it. I’d forgotten about the pseudonym and upon hearing the post narrative it came back to me in a flash. Wonderful!!
And As wonderfully as it ended, it could definitely be followed up by a sequel at least once if not a couple more times, and would still keep me gripping the sides of my armchair. A most Outstanding work by Dr Creepen, and as much as that’s no surprise, it definitely made this more effective in grabbing the listener by the throat and holding them tightly. Many times I caught myself holding my breath! Well done to the those involved in this creation I’m delighted and hopeful for another dose of absolute horror!!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆👏👏👏👏👏

I would love to hear more from this "series." I completely agree about the first story achieving its intended effect as a standalone but it also opens up so many potential avenues as a series and I love the direction it was taken in. I think the switch from third to first person was also a smart move for the more lighthearted and surreal tone. The stories practically write themselves, the episodic structure of piecing together bizarre crime scenes from the perspective of a cleaner is too good to leave behind.

I've listened to more of your narrations than I'll ever attempt to count, and this is among the best of them. You're right, Doctor; it's just begging to be continued. It's been a long time since I wrote in this genre, but this story has a tempting call. Maybe, if Cesly 1987 is certain not to continue it.

Ahhh I LOVED the first story. Very well done, just enough to make you wonder what the main character was doing. The second one was good until I got mad that main character decided to think more then work. Plus with how the rest played out, it just ruined the initial vibe for me. Oh well! Great reading as always!

Really enjoyed this story. I was thinking of some sort of vampire throughout. The reverse werewolf, mountain lion twist, was an interesting surprise. The respect shown at the end. I dig that. Would love to see where this story goes from here.

Good evening Doctor, and good evening all! This sounds just the sort of job that I'd be ok with if I wasn't self employed doing something that I love. Plenty of previous experience of working with the dead, a high tolerance of 'criminals' as long as there aren't any sex offences or child molesters involved (I have an absolute zero tolerance of that sort of thing!).....Yep, where do I apply?? Hope everyone is having a great week so far, and Thank You to you Doctor for the narration, and to Mr McCorkindale for writing!

Thank you Dr Creepen for this absolutely awesome pasta, and yes it seems a bit unfinished in the end. I kinda was hoping to see what Dr Elliot would have to say about what went on that night as I thought for a while it had to do with having to clean up after gang related killings or something like that, but where it left off surprised me. I still think it could've continued long after those as it kinda ended as a cliffhanger. Still an excellent story and narration, just kinda feels like it ain't finished yet. I live across the pond though In South Carolina USA, so not 100% still on how everything works over there in the EU. I could maybe add on to this but I can't be sure that I could do the rest of it justice or make a seamless continuation. I think the original authors could probably do a better job, plus id have to listen to this quite a few times over again to get a better feeling of what they characters like Mr Elliot and the hunters may be like and project future actions and decisions. I'm thinking the asking for hazard pay tells me the main character got a better idea of who or what he was working for though. It could either end with him getting his head blown off by Mr Elliott or continue on as he becomes a new hunter for maybe a secret government or maybe shadow organization instead of a gang or organized crime. Anyway it was definitely a rocking story, and props to you and the other author. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

Hello Herr doctor. I started listening to a story called "I found a list of rules in the Bibles book of revelations." I couldn't continue for the speech was monotonous, and there were too many mispronounced words. If you were to narrate it, it would be greatly appreciated ❤.
