This boat won award last year for best interior design. There is an interview online with the Architect designer. 3 years in the making. The boat has a crash bulb designed into the bow. If you hit something, it absorbs the impact without intruding into the hull.
Love this boat. I’ve often wondered why there’s no crash testing in the marine industry. I know it’d be quite expensive, but I’m really impressed with these guys that they did it.
I've been waiting for somebody to do a tour of this boat for a while now. It's great to see it's just as lovely as I was hoping it would be. Thank you for bringing us this and thank you too the gentleman that showed you around.
The design is absolutely amazing. I really do like how open everything is; the saloon and the weather deck join into one space on the starboard side. I just never imagined that, and there it is in reality.
Jeezumcrow this is just wow! The caption nailed it! Great vid! David nailed it as well. Bet his dad is wicked cool! (engine room next time? Prob didn’t have time. Oh well)
Great tour and I love the open design of this vessel. 😀👍 And the aft docking station makes it really easy for 2 persons to operate this boat. No need for a crew or more people on board. And the double stabilization is simply amazing, as well as doing a crash test.
Has a lot of great fitments especially for the size but I am not crazy about the galley being part of the helm. Feels like a 68' got compacted into a 62' and the wheelhouse became the "mealhouse". .......better than my boat, regardless!
Everything on this boat is marvelous! It has inspired me the desire to buy it. Congratulations to the company, when you do things like nobody does, you can ask the price you want!
I didn't get the manufacturer name for this particular yacht nor the model name and it doesn't show up in your description. The Camera man needs better lighting because the video was too dark to see anything and at times quite blurry. 🤔 The layout of this yacht appears to be a good one although I wasn't able to see much of the bathrooms clearly. Are there only two full cabins and the Harry Potter room?
Tristan, I don't know how I missed this one, what a great layout and cool design. They should do great with sales. I would put the wine fridge in the master suite, as you don't want to get caught by you guests sneaking out for that second or third bottle when you're naked.
Beautiful Yacht. Other reviewers should take note also of ; Touring/walkthrough of the yacht in socks vs bare feet, I'll never understand the inverted logic of walk-throughs 'requiring' bare feet.
Tristan.... I Have been following your channel for a while and I just want to commend you on your tremendous and exemplary work ethic and to wish you lots of success on your new venture with Mortlock Yachts. If the past is any indication of the future, then I know you will be very successful at this as well. Cheers.
I like the idea why he used dark colors on the one wall and yes, when you want to be on a boat you want to be near the water. I still want to be in bed and be able to see the water. Who knows, I might be able to tweak or even custom build mine. 😅 Only problem its fibre glass.
Interesting you should ask, they emailed us yesterday inviting us to visit the yard, after we released the Lazzara yachts shipyard tour. It seems that NautiStyles has that yard covered with video content. We'll see.
Thanks for the tour Tristan. Some novel ideas on function and layout. Maybe call me old school, but a super yacht must look beautiful, expensive, and exclusive. This is like putting a gold plated VW campervan next to an Aston Martin... one is functional, one is beautiful. But, variety is the spice of life. I now see so many ugly new designs, so there must be buyers out there...
It's funny there's no video's of the crash test, I've made a crash proof shopping trolley tested with a speed of 1000mph into a sponge oh but i have no video of it so just take my word for it :)
Free, unsolicited fashion advice: Go to 7" or even 5" inseam shorts. Lighter colored, shorter length, tee shirt or fitted polo. Keep your gigantic phone / ipad and stuff out of pockets. 😂 Lol.
I'm finding myself quite disappointed in the layout of this boat. The living space is seriously hindered by the stairwell. Why such a huge staircase to such a small flybridge? Seriously limits the all weather use as with the glass closed there isn't much seating space. Flybridge stairwell should be a lot smaller and further back and the downward staircase out of the living space. Did anyone else notice the freestanding sunbeds on the flybridge didn't have enough space to fully lie flat. To be honest the garage door looked like it's from a novelty idea from a child. I've just watched a vid on an Okean 52. Explorer style yacht which has similar opening glass but with drop-down bullwarks but seems a vastly more usable spacious boat. Yes as a smaller boat it loses a little here and there but no major compromises. I'm lost at why the design awards gave this explorer 62 best layout as it's flaws outweigh the design in my opinion.
BRUUUUUH 🤙🏽 ALEXI MIGHT HAVE SOME 💨smoke from this charismatic owner🤔🤔🤔 Can I get in touch with him, just to Hangout ✊🏽 This Boat would make all my CHEMO SIDE EFFECTS GO AWAY🥰🥰🥰🥰 Big UPs CAPTAIN FROM DALLAS, TEXAS ✌🏽
And what was "The Harry Potter Room" all about??? This might have been a good boat but we didnt see half of it, the cameraman is absolute rubbish. There needs to be a lot of refinning here. Annoying.
Get a new camera guy?? The finger the just calling out in the background?? He goes over the helm and gally....he goes so this is the helm and gally????
Looks to me like a modern day Chinese junk! Can you imagine it in a 20knot, 2metre sea? Hate to think of water tightness issues let alone sea worthiness!
Maybe I have become spoiled (and some other lookers) are rude and brainless, but if you see another doing a tour or talking to a sales type, just stand back and shut up.
waste of material and energy to sail ! insane ! should be fined with hundreds of millions of euro ! stop this rubbish ! this has nothing to do with love for nature !

Boat with no name => great thumbs down
Nice to see a owner of a company so passionate about his product, not the typical salesman
The host on this boat looks very nice person, he has all the knowledge but he delivered the details in very friendly manner. 👍

It's hard to believe that's a 62', really cool yacht.
David was such a Gem, clearly passionate and really knew his stuff. Thanks for the tour guys it was a pleasure being involved!
the colors trick on the rooms is just amazing, love the decoration and at 18:54 this man says it all
Thanks for the tour Captain Tristan. Always good to see you on a yacht.
Great video and what a great guy! The passion is so refreshing, and love the safety testing too. Crazy that's not more commonly done!

The owner's son gave an amazing tour. Loved hearing WHY they incorporated their design features. Tells you this family are boaters themselves.
A really cool yacht, Great to see David so motivated too
Complete gentleman this lad who's dad is the builder. And you as always
Amazing boat for the size. The owners kid is a superb evangelist ! Refreshing to see a “sliver spoon” kid so passionate about the family product.
He was a great guide 👍
I'm 74, but feel like I'm 44. I LOVE this boat and will dream about it every night I go to sleep.

Safety testing? Now that’s a refreshing change.

OK...these guys were THINKING!!!!! What a layout.

Great design! Love the open plan! WOW!! 👍👀😲
Wonderful and informative channel. I love the charisma of David.
I agree, David was great. 👍
Nice boat for a family live a board. Big wallet families! Interesting layout.
ALWAYS excited to see another upload from SYC!
Thanks for the great vids!
🍻🍻🍻
Interesting boat, nice layout.
Pretty cool yacht! I was at the festival this year but somehow missed this vessel. Thanks for the video!

What a very clever boat. Very nice!
Anyway, what country is this video made?
This dude thought he was a serious buyer. 😂
At 16:02 I didn’t think you deserved that! You had been very complimentary 😂
So wise , Thank you . such a fine design , many fine features . In my opinion Heavy weather could be a challenge . I hope I am wrong

😊🙏 than you
Hi, great reporting - perfect
That guy is a great salesman!
what is the company called or the shipyard that build these yachts ?
What’s the name/model of this boat?
I was wondering if that had a video of the crash test of thar yacht
I would also like to see that.
@@SuperYachtCaptain He said they crash tested it, but not the result, it could have sunk !! 😂😂
what boat is this?
What a beautiful yacht❤
a very relaxed presentaion
Like father like son 💙
13:18
But won't the darkness reflect off the
white marble, and keep you awake?
🤔🤔
😄
Amazing boat and a great tour, SOLD!! What are the repayments if I trade in my 2008 transit?
good to see the Sessa Marine Explorer project live on
?? Tell us more.
Nice job on both of your parts.
Thank you 🙏
Most interesting yacht.
great job!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One word…. Exactly!
Engine room tour??
Sorry, it was way to hot to film in there.
@@SuperYachtCaptain all good thanks for the video! 👍👍

Have you checked out Bering Yachts yet?

Love the video. Don’t care for the layout of the ship.
What is the price?

Burn rate of 50 liters an hour with 2700 liter tank: Tristan..’so that’s 27 hours of cruising?’ Naw bruh that’s 54 hours
My bad
I'm in my late 40s now and I don't fish like I used to. Good bye to my Viking and hello to my next boat.
It's funny there's no video's of the crash test, I've made a crash proof shopping trolley tested with a speed of 1000mph into a sponge oh but i have no video of it so just take my word for it :)
I think the captain chair and galley area are in conflict

Im buying the boat right now if the host is included.

Nice yacht, but it is not a complete tour if you do not show the engine. Please always show the engine room
Not my bag at all. Really not keen on that layout. It’s innovative but I couldn’t live with it.
