I really enjoyed this walk, Johnny, and I appreciated learning more about the history of the Leslieville neighbourhood. It's really interesting. Thanks so much!!
WOW ! When you have small houses close together makes garbage day with all the containers hard to navigate the driveways & sidewalks . No matter the size there is no place like home . God bless . Mark (Toronto) 💙💙💙
You are my favourite utuber lately. And your voice is sooo soothing and melting. I think I am going to see so much Canada even though I am in the UK. ♥️♥️♥️ From the UK to canada
What a fascinating and informative tour of one of Toronto's residential areas. Like you said Johnny no two houses are alike. Again you covered this masterfully. I'll catch you on the next one!
Really enjoyed that walk....never been to that part of town but my husband used to pickup and deliver carpets for cleaning at Baker Carpet all over Toronto as a teenager so he knows the city really well. Cant imagine driving a truck down some if those narrow streets but he did!
My boyfriend is really upset that he didn't notice you and walked right by you at the end of the video. I was like HOW CAN YOU MISS JOHNNY STRIDES!!!! 🤣
That was a nice section of leslieville back then, right in the middle of all the shops that used to be by coxwell and gerrard, bargin harolds for example, and all the restaurants on queen. I still to this day miss dutchpot at the bottom of ashdale. I used eat there and get take out one or twice a week. I went to there new location on broadbiew, but its just not the same lol.
@@JohnnyStrides yeah I live around here as I've mentioned earlier. I saw you doing a live stream the other day when I was on my way home from work but I couldn't find you to say hi. Maybe next time
hey strides woww honestly didn't kow of such a residential road called craven road wowww, i assume it used to be small dungeon alleyway 1nce upon time but bet u must be 1 of the most special streets in T.O...captured my hart lol .cheers
Great walk! That is a very unique street indeed! We have a small street here (about 2 blocks long) that is like Craven. I’ve never explored it in a video, but maybe if I’m in the area. Congrats on getting your first vaccination. 🥰💉👍🏻
Ah you found one of the Shim Sutcliffe houses. The red one with a studio at 29:30. I met the owner. Really nice guy. He showed me his house a long time ago. That house kind of made them famous. A shame he put a fence up.
Don't feel bad Johnny cuz when you said Subway I thought you were going to go get a sandwich because there was a Subway there 😂 Then..... You say you're going to the subway I'm psychic or psycho I'm not sure which. 🤣🤣🤣
Yes Johnny hello! I think this IS a very unusual residential street. My kind of....if l stilled lived in our beloved tdot. Community living, good peeps and small. Yup, so us.....

Craven dump - if the homes are worth so much shouldn’t it be reflected in the presentation - filthy front yards from start to finish - the residents should take a look at your videos for an overview of their dwellings
Sorry to say, these houses are almost jammed together and look so ugly. I can hardly believe this is Toronto, Canada. I can't live here with my family. It's so depressing. Just my thoughts.
Thank you for uploading so frequently! It gives me something to look forward to! :)
Agree always look forward to Johnny Strides
So sad that's all you look forward to.
@@amywilliams6696 so sad that you feel the need to bring others down based on what they look forward to.
Nice stroll Johnny very unique area and old houses thanks.
I’ve been hoping you would walk Craven Rd. since I read about it awhile back. Thank you! And congrats on getting your shot.
Thanks for the walk Johnny. Craven Rd. is an interesting set of eclectic and charming homes. Toronto is full of surprises.

Another magnificent and aesthetic video, it's just awesome as always.
Great walk Johnny! Nifty part of town where no house is the same... very eclectic and almost "cottagy".

I envy your country, in Argentina you cannot live with that freedom. I would like to live there to walk freely

I lived on Craven back in the late 90's. Just below Dundas.

johnny getting lost at the end 😂 also yes there is a subway sandwiches shop
Hey Johnny did you ever find that station that you were looking for, they hid it in an alley, all cool!!!!. Note: love the walk!
🍎👍 Interesting part of the city. You must do a fair amount of research to know so much. Well done and appreciated -H
I love Canada 🇨🇦 from the USA 🇺🇸

Thank you for doing this interesting video!
you're really liking the east end lately Johnny. I support this as an east ender. When are you going to move this way?

Why were those two guys filming the dirt on the truck??
Like London - tiny homes, former slums, now costing millions.

A Subway location open 24 hours is awesome and delicious...🥪
Are the price of house high in this area?
I worked forToronto water and try to do a water repair on that street was a nightmare
I think they were originally cottages
This is unique in comparable size to an average Hong Kong apartment !
Unique means unlike anything else. Nothing can be more unique or most unique. It’s either unique or it’s not.
This is an extremely lame nitpick (especially since this is a YT title). The word unique has evolved to reflect things that are unusual and rare.
@@JohnnyStrides The meaning of unique has not “evolved “. When someone corrects my errors and helps me learn, I say thank you. You’re welcome.
@@sidecar7714 Language and Its uses most certainly does change over time. You'd make a pretty good NIMBY with your mindset...
Looks very similar to America as regards to the streets

lol, what people do? buy or order gardening tools and we just had snow most Canadian till official spring.
Winter just ended! Lots of residual leaves dirt! Not necessarily their fault right now! Later on in the spring you can make a comment about the this!😁
My sentiments exactly. So gloomy and drab.
