To those you may have not known or didn't notice, the round building you see in front of you at 9:33 was used in the 2004 movie "Mean Girls" starring Lindsey Lohan. This building (Convocation Hall) was used for the scene where Lindsey and her Math-Geek squad face-off against another high school in a Math Competition. Lindsey ends up winning it with her answer "The limit does not exist". Both the interior was used for the competition and also the exterior as a parking-lot where after the competition, Lindsey talks to her teacher (Tiny Fey) about being grounded and not being able to go to the school dance to celebrate after the teams victory.
Beautiful and Majestic College with all it's History and Rememberance who attended and lost their lives due to the wars. Their names etched in stone never to be forgotten. Thanks for your work in this video.
Cities have to evolve to avoid becoming a theme park but it is good to see so much of the old is being preserved. Always nice to spend time with you in diverse areas of the City.
Even though I never went to U of T, I spent a lot of time at the St. George campus to study at one of the libraries, going all the way back when I was in high school and into my uni days at uOttawa and YorkU. This walk legit brought me back memories of weekends at the library and seeing the bright lights of the city from the campus at night. Since I was coincidentally at this U of T campus on the last weekend before the COVID pandemic at Robarts Library, I hope to step back into one of these historically beautiful buildings as soon as the pandemic is over.
I love all the historical buildings that this campus has. They are so beautiful. Wow I just can’t say enough on the history part of the ca,pus. Thanks for recording this video.
My great great grandfather's masonry company built Knox College and, I believe also, Wycliffe College, as well as the Anatomy building (McMurrich Building as it's now known). Thought I'd share. Great video. Thanks for this!
What a fabulously gorgeous campus!! I love the U of T campus but I haven't walked around that area for a few years, while visiting friends in TO. This is so wonderful to see again, Johnny! Gorgeous shots!! I hope you are feeling better after your vaccine. I get mine May 15th.
I didn't think those cannons were from Nova Scotia, I thought they were aimed at Nova Scotia. Just kidding, from Halifax but lived in Toronto for a number of years and love both cities. I hope our trees in Halifax know what they are doing but it is the first year I've ever seen where our leaves in Halifax are very close to the same stage as Toronto. Toronto looking good as usual, I hope I can make it for a visit this year.

All the flags are at half-mast for the death of Prince Philip.
and people say that toronto has no good pre-war architecture....
Nice looking Amusement park. Let’s be real, we paid more than what we have paid for education for the best campus experience.
I'm just here for the Algorithm.
