Cool to see you racing John! There was a guy here in my hometown who built a mini golf course and a go kart track, the track was finished and it was due to open, and the guy suddenly died. Now its just a never been raced track sitting abandoned, been there like 4 years now at this point.

I'm guessing Charles drop in speed was the brake dragging before it burned out.He was doing well at first,then maybe that's when the axle shifted.? All in all,it looked like a blast.

Charles, fly racing make a nice lightweight motorcycle jack with padding for your back. You are also able to add your own padding or support. I have pintched nervous and that's how I got around it.

The video was great, it was nice for Ike and Charles to give John a car so he could drive. John is definately a rookie his steering and accelleration were all over the place. Charles seems to have the worst luck when it comes to driving someone elses cars.
I think you guys getting some more T4's and actually tuning them and racing would be awesome. Also, turning those trail bikes into mini flat trackers or converting small dirt bikes into mini supermotos would be cool!
When cornering don’t lean into the turn. Lean your body to the outside tires. It gives you more traction and allows you to accelerate through the corner better.

Looks like a lot of fun, karts seem a little off setup wise…. A narrower rear track width would of helped them turn a little better. This looks like a good class hoping it takes off in NY. These are cheaper options compared to 206
love the karts, as a uk 4stroke kart racer, your back wheel width is sooo narrow, you need to widen it to release the back in the corners ..loose is fast boys

Come to United Karting - BWI sometime! Offer full track rental days, many practice days scheduled throughout the year, and also have their own rental kart fleet.
Blue threadlocker is better for having to remove fasteners. and if a person wants to make it so they can loosen fasteners. even after they have on something for a long time antiseize is a must.
@@musicauthority7828 loctitie works but the wire is a rule in racing. Mainly to keep stuff from backing out and falling off in a race. Pre race inspection will kick you if you don't have it around here.
@@Vamp_Tepez I was a crew member at our local NASCAR sanctioned track. and there were very few areas where wiring was necessary. and tech officials don't require it but there are plenty of other things they require. however in aviation it is completely necessary.
@@musicauthority7828 I took aviation maintenance in school so learned about that side. But here mainly all we wired was wheels nuts, header bolts, and pedals. We ran at usac/nhra tracks here. More so when we got into running kt100's.
You guys are in the Carolina IDR North or South but I think Dirt oval is pretty big over that way PRC is in that part of the country it used to be the best dirt oval manufacturer ever but they get try to make the fastest kart on the planet and do just nobody can set them up then they make one that's not deadly fast but always works and people come back to them

Loctite those set screws in the bearings, to keep the axle from shifting! Edit: Use the high-strength removable stuff.

One of the skills I learned from back in my go-kart days was how to tie-wire fasteners.
They rattle themselves apart, and Loctite is a pain to remove.
I still have a big roll of safety wire and a coffee can of castle nuts left over, I haven't even been in that scene in 15 years.
